King James 2000 (KJ2000) vs ARA
1 To the Chief Musician upon shushaneduth. A michtam of David to teach; when he fought with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned and smote of Edom in the Valley of Salt twelve thousand. O God, you have cast us off, you have scattered us, you have been displeased; O turn yourself to us again.
1 Ó Deus, tu nos rejeitaste e nos dispersaste; tens estado indignado; oh! Restabelece-nos!
2 You have made the earth to tremble; you have broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shakes.
2 Abalaste a terra, fendeste-a; repara-lhe as brechas, pois ela ameaça ruir.
3 You have shown your people hard things: you have made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
3 Fizeste o teu povo experimentar reveses e nos deste a beber vinho que atordoa.
4 You have given a banner to them that fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
4 Deste um estandarte aos que te temem, para fugirem de diante do arco.
5 That your beloved may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me.
5 Para que os teus amados sejam livres, salva com a tua destra e responde-nos.
6 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
6 Falou Deus na sua santidade: Exultarei; dividirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.
7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for my head; Judah is my lawgiver;
7 Meu é Gileade, meu é Manassés; Efraim é a defesa de minha cabeça; Judá é o meu cetro.
8 Moab is my washpot; upon Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph you because of me.
8 Moabe, porém, é a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom atirarei a minha sandália; sobre a Filístia jubilarei.
9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
9 Quem me conduzirá à cidade fortificada? Quem me guiará até Edom?
10 Will not you, O God, who had cast us off? and you, O God, who did not go out with our armies?
10 Não nos rejeitaste, ó Deus? Tu não sais, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos!
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
11 Presta-nos auxílio na angústia, pois vão é o socorro do homem.
12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
12 Em Deus faremos proezas, porque ele mesmo calca aos pés os nossos adversários.
