¹ Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi. O SENHOR te ouça no dia da dificuldade; o nome do Deus de Jacó te defenda.

² [and] send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion

² Envie-te socorro do santuário, e te fortaleça desde Sião.

³ [and] remember all thy offerings and reduce thy burnt sacrifice to [the ashes] of [burnt] fat, Selah.

³ Lembre-se de todas as tuas ofertas e aceite tua oferta queimada. Selá.

⁴ Grant thee according to thine heart and fulfil all thy counsel.

⁴ Conceda-te de acordo com o teu próprio coração, e cumpra todo o teu conselho.

⁵ We will rejoice in thy saving health, and in the name of our God we will be standard-bearers: [let] the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

⁵ Nós nos regozijaremos na tua salvação, e no nome de nosso Deus fincaremos nossas bandeiras; que o SENHOR cumpra todas as tuas petições.

⁶ Now know I that the LORD has kept his anointed; he will hear him from the heavens of his holiness with the saving valour of his right hand.

⁶ Agora sei que o SENHOR salva o seu ungido; ele o ouvirá desde o seu santo céu, com a força salvadora da sua mão direita.

⁷ Some [trust] in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

⁷ Uns confiam em carruagens e outros em cavalos, mas nós lembraremos do nome do SENHOR nosso Deus.

⁸ They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.

⁸ Eles são rebaixados e caídos, mas nós somos levantados e ficamos em pé.

⁹ The LORD saves the king; let him hear us on the day when we call.:
