¹ Halelu-JAH. Sing unto the LORD a new song, let his praise [be] in the congregation of the merciful.

¹ Aleluia! Cantem ao um cântico novo; cantem o seu louvor na assembleia dos santos.

² Let Israel rejoice with his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful with their King.

² Alegre-se Israel no seu Criador; exultem no seu Rei os filhos de Sião.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

³ Louvem o nome do Senhor com danças; cantem-lhe salmos ao som de tamborins e harpas.

⁴ For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he will beautify the humble with saving health.

⁴ Porque o Senhor se agrada do seu povo e exalta os humildes com a salvação.

⁵ The merciful shall be joyful with glory; they shall sing aloud upon their beds.

⁵ Que os santos exultem de glória, e no seu leito cantem de júbilo.

⁶ The high [praises] of God [shall be] in their mouth and a twoedged sword in their hand,

⁶ Nos seus lábios estejam os altos louvores de Deus, e, nas suas mãos, uma espada de dois gumes,

⁷ to execute vengeance upon the Gentiles [and] punishments upon the peoples,

⁷ para exercer vingança entre as nações e castigo sobre os povos;

⁸ to imprison their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron,

⁸ para prender os seus reis com correntes e os seus nobres, com cadeias de ferro;

⁹ to execute upon them the judgment written: this shall be glory for all his merciful ones. Halelu-JAH.:
