¹ Canção ou Salmo de Davi. Ó Deus, meu coração está firme; eu cantarei e darei louvores, até com a minha glória.

² Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.

² Acordai, saltério e harpa; eu mesmo acordarei cedo.

³ I will praise thee, O LORD, among the peoples, and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

³ Eu te louvarei, ó SENHOR, entre o povo, e cantarei louvores a ti entre as nações.

⁴ For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens, and thy truth [reaches] unto the heavens.

⁴ Pois a tua misericórdia é grande sobre os céus; e a tua verdade alcança até as nuvens.

⁵ Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens and thy glory above all the earth;

⁵ Sê tu exaltado, ó Deus, sobre os céus, e a tua glória sobre toda a terra;

⁶ that thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me.

⁶ para que os teus amados sejam libertos, salva com a tua direita, e responde-me.

⁷ God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁷ Deus falou na sua santidade: Eu me regozijarei, dividirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.

⁸ Gilead [shall be] mine; Manasseh [shall be] mine; Ephraim also [shall be] the strength of my head; Judah [shall be] my lawgiver;

⁸ Gileade é meu; Manassés é meu; Efraim também é a força da minha cabeça; Judá é meu legislador.

⁹ Moab [shall be] my washpot; over Edom I will cast my shoe; over Philistia I will triumph.

⁹ Moabe é meu vaso de lavar; sobre Edom lançarei minha sandália; sobre a Filístia triunfarei.

¹⁰ Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

¹⁰ Quem me trará para a cidade forte? Quem me levará para dentro de Edom?

¹¹ Surely thou, O God, [who] had cast us off and did not, O God, go forth with our hosts.

¹¹ Não irás tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste? E não irás tu, ó Deus, adiante com os nossos exércitos?

¹² Give us help from trouble; for the salvation of man is deception.

¹² Dá-nos o socorro na tribulação; pois vão é o socorro do homem.

¹³ Through God we shall do valiantly, for he shall tread down our enemies [again].:

¹³ Através de Deus agiremos valentemente, pois ele é aquele que pisará nossos inimigos.
