Isaías 27
English Jubilee 2000 Bible (JUBL2000) vs ARA
1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall visit [punishment] upon leviathan the fleeing serpent, and upon leviathan that serpent of double vision; and he shall slay the dragon that [is] in the sea.
1 Naquele dia, o Senhor castigará com a sua dura espada, grande e forte, o dragão, serpente veloz, e o dragão, serpente sinuosa, e matará o monstro que está no mar.
2 In that day sing ye unto the vineyard of the red wine.
2 Naquele dia, dirá o Senhor : Cantai a vinha deliciosa!
3 I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest [the enemy] visit it, I will keep it night and day.
3 Eu, o Senhor , a vigio e a cada momento a regarei; para que ninguém lhe faça dano, de noite e de dia eu cuidarei dela.
4 Fury [is] not in me: who would set the briers [and] thorns against me in battle? I would tread them down, I would burn them together.
4 Não há indignação em mim. Quem me dera espinheiros e abrolhos diante de mim! Em guerra, eu iria contra eles e juntamente os queimaria.
5 Or [who] shall take hold of my strength? Make peace with me, yea, make peace with me.
5 Ou que homens se apoderem da minha força e façam paz comigo; sim, que façam paz comigo.
6 [Days] shall come when Jacob shall take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and the face of the world shall be filled with fruit.
6 Dias virão em que Jacó lançará raízes, florescerá e brotará Israel, e encherão de fruto o mundo.
7 Has he been smitten as he who smote him? [or] has he been slain as those who slew him?
7 Porventura, feriu o Senhor a Israel como àqueles que o feriram? Ou o matou, assim como àqueles que o mataram?
8 In measure, she shall be chastised in her stalks: he stays his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
8 Com xô!, xô! e exílio o trataste; com forte sopro o expulsaste no dia do vento oriental.
9 Therefore, in this manner shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this [shall be] all the fruit, the removal of his sin; when [he] shall return all the stones of the altar, as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder that they may not raise up the groves, or the images of the sun.
9 Portanto, com isto será expiada a culpa de Jacó, e este é todo o fruto do perdão do seu pecado: quando o Senhor fizer a todas as pedras do altar como pedras de cal feitas em pedaços, não ficarão em pé os postes-ídolos e os altares do incenso.
10 Otherwise the defenced city [shall be] made desolate, [and] the habitation shall be forsaken and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down and consume the branches thereof.
10 Porque a cidade fortificada está solitária, habitação desamparada e abandonada como um deserto; ali pastam os bezerros, deitam-se e devoram os seus ramos.
11 When its boughs are withered, they shall be broken off: women shall come [and] set them on fire: for this [is] not a people of understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show them no favour.
11 Quando os seus ramos se secam, são quebrados. Então, vêm as mulheres e lhes deitam fogo, porque este povo não é povo de entendimento; por isso, aquele que o fez não se compadecerá dele, e aquele que o formou não lhe perdoará.
12 And it shall come to pass in that day [that] the LORD shall smite from the channel of the river [Euphrates] unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye sons of Israel.
12 Naquele dia, em que o Senhor debulhará o seu cereal desde o Eufrates até ao ribeiro do Egito; e vós, ó filhos de Israel, sereis colhidos um a um.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day [that] the great shofar shall be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.:
13 Naquele dia, se tocará uma grande trombeta, e os que andavam perdidos pela terra da Assíria e os que forem desterrados para a terra do Egito tornarão a vir e adorarão ao Senhor no monte santo em Jerusalém.
