1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise),
2 Hinat tamat kwanakakafiyih, anayabin nati i o baiyunen tur wantoro’ot ana omatanen auman.
3 that it may be well with thee, and thou may live long on the earth.
3 Saise a yawas i boro baigegewasin awan nakaratan, naatu a yawas iti tafaramamaim boro manin na’in kwanama kwaniyasisir.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
4 Kwa kek hinah tamah, a kek men kwanagam kwana’uwih kwanikwaniyih yah naso’aramih. Baise Kirisiyan ana bai’obaiyenamaim baikwatutunen kwanitih, naatu Regah ana turamaim kwanabonawiyih.
5 Servants, be obedient to those that are [your] masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as unto the Christ,
5 Akirwairafi a tur ao’owen, a orot ukwarih tafaramamaim tekakaifi i kwanabiruwih naatu kwanakakafiyih fanah kwanab. Naatu dogor tutufin etei yasisir auman isah kwanabow, Keriso isan kwatabowabow na’atube.
6 not to be seen as [only] pleasing men, but as the servants of the Christ, doing the will of God from within,
6 Men ti’i’iti ana veya akisin iti baifa’i isan kwanisnubanub kwanabowamih, baise kwa i Keriso ana akirwairafih imih dogor tutufin etei God ana kok kwanabow.
7 with good will doing service as to the Lord and not to men,
7 Kwanabow sunusunub a naniyan tutufin etei, yasisir auman kwabow, kwa i men orot isan kwabowabow, baise Regah isan kwabowabow.
8 knowing that whatever good thing anyone does, the same shall they receive of the Lord, whether [they are] bond or free.
8 Anayabin kwa kwaso’ob orot babin etei bowabow gewasin tebowabow isan, Regah boro hai siwar nitih, basit o akirwairafi, o roufamen orot a siwar i boro inab.
9 And, ye masters, do the same unto them, forbearing threats, knowing that their Master and yours is also in heaven and that he is no respecter of persons.
9 Kwa orot ukwarih auman ef ta’imon kwanasinaf, akirwairafih isah kwanigewasin naatu men kwanao birubiruwih. Kwanaso’ob kwa a akirwairafih bairi a Regah i ta’imon maramaim ema’am, naatu i orot babin etei ana fofoninamaim ebibatiyih.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
10 Taitu tuwai’inah, tur yomanin i iti. Regah wanawanan kwanarun ana fair kwanab, naatu i ana fairane kwa a fair kwanawowab nara’at.
11 Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand [firm] against the wiles of the devil.
11 Baiyow ana tafafaren sawar etei God bit i kwana’abur, saise Demon Mowan ana baifuwen nabikubibiruw karam boro kwanawasatan.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the lords of this age, rulers of this darkness, against spiritual wickedness in the heavens.
12 Anayabin it i men iti tafaram orot babin afa bairi tabiyowamih, baise tounamatar kakafih gagub wanawanan tema’am bairi tabiyow. Demon hai nabatanayah, hai ukwarih, naatu afiy kakafih fairih iti tafaram ana guguminamaim tema’am bairi tabiyow.
13 Therefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and stand [fast], all [the work having] been finished.
13 Imih God ana baibiyow sawar bounaika kwana’abur, imaibo Demon ana veya kakafin nan natitit, kwa i karam boro rakit ana ahay ana waf kwanahaiw. Naatu kwaniyow nan yomanin kwana’a’asa’ub ufunamaim boro men ura au’uf kwanabat.
14 Stand [firm], therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate, of righteousness,
14 Imih kwanabatkikin, turobe kwanab naiw a kikiramih kwanakik. Yawas mutufurin kwanab a beromih dogor kwanisinfafar,
15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace,
15 naatu tufuw ana tur gewasin a baibiyonamih kwaniyoun kwanabat gewas kwanitfufun auna kwanan.
16 above all, taking the shield of faith, with which ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
16 Mar etei baitumatum a beromih kwanab, anayabin nati beromaim Demon Mowan ana ahay narob wairaf auman nitakir hinanununuw karam boro kwanasirabun.
17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
17 God yawas bit i kwanab a kowasamih arib kwanayara’ah, naatu God ana tur, Anun Kakafiyin bit i a kaiyomih kwanab.
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching in this with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
18 Sawar iti etei i yoyobanamaim kwanasinaf, God ana baibais isan kwanifefeyan, Anun Kakafiyin ebiyuni na’atube. Naatu sawar ta ta hinamamatar hai veya’amaim kwanayoyoban, mata toniwa’an, a yoyoban men kwanihamiy, mar etei God ana sabuw isah kwanayoyoban.
19 and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth with confidence, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
19 Ayu auman isou kwanayoyoban, saise binan isan ana bobogaigiwas ana veya, God ana tur isou nirerereb anabinan, na’atube Tur Gewasin ana kirikirifot anaorereb natit, men ana birumih.
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in this I may speak boldly as I ought to speak.
20 Ayu i God ana bowayan orot iyafaru atit Tur Gewasin abibinan isan dibur ama’am. Baise abifefeyani isou kwanayoyoban saise fair anab Tur Gewasin ana binan sabuw hinanowar.
21 But that ye also may know my affairs [and] how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, shall make known to you all things,
21 Tychicus, taituwa ata yabow orot, naatu Regah ana akirwairafin orot gewasin ta, i nanan ana veya ayu abisa asisinaf ana tur etei boro i nao kwananowar kwanaso’ob.
22 whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs and [that] he might comfort your hearts.
22 Anayabin nati isan kwa isa abiyafar, aki abisa iti’imaim asisinaf nao kwananowar naatu koufair nit.
23 Peace [be] to the brethren and charity with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
23 Tamat God naatu ata Regah Jesu Keriso kwa Kirisiyan baitumatumayah etei tufuw, yabow naatu baitumatum auman nit kwanama.
24 Grace [be] with all those that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption. Amen.:
24 God ana bosiyasiyar kwa iyab ata Regah Jesu Keriso kwabiyabuw, nati yabow isa nama wanatowan. Amen.
