1 Where has thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? where didst thy beloved separate himself? that we may seek him with thee.
1 - Para onde foi o teu amado, ó mais bela das mulheres? Para onde se retirou o teu amigo? Nós o buscaremos contigo.
2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather the lilies.
2 - O meu bem-amado desceu ao seu jardim, aos canteiros perfumados; para apascentar em meu jardim, e colher lírios.
3 I [am] my beloved's, and my beloved [is] mine; he feeds among the lilies.
3 Eu sou do meu amado e meu amado é meu. Ele apascenta entre os lírios.
4 Thou [art] beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, as desirable as Jerusalem, imposing as the standard-bearer [of the army].
4 - És formosa, amiga minha, como Tirsa, graciosa como Jerusalém, temível como um exército em ordem de batalha.
5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me; thy hair [is] as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
5 Desvia de mim os teus olhos, porque eles me fascinam. Teus cabelos são como um rebanho de cabras descendo impetuosamente pelas encostas de Galaad.
6 Thy teeth [are] as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, of which every one bears twins, and [there is] not one barren among them.
6 Teus dentes são como um rebanho de ovelhas que sobem do banho, cada uma leva dois {cordeirinhos} gêmeos, e nenhuma delas é estéril.
7 As slices of pomegranate [are] thy temples within thy locks.
7 Tua face é como um pedaço de romã debaixo do teu véu.
8 There are sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number.
8 Há sessenta rainhas, oitenta concubinas, e inumeráveis jovens mulheres;
9 My dove is [but] one, my perfect [one]; she [is] the [only] one of her mother, she [is] the choice [one] of her that brought her into the light. The virgins saw her and called her blessed; [yea], the queens and the concubines and they praised her.
9 uma, porém, é a minha pomba, uma só a minha perfeita; ela é a única de sua mãe, a predileta daquela que a deu à luz. Ao vê-la, as donzelas proclamam-na bem-aventurada, rainhas e concubinas a louvam.
10 Who [is] she [that] shows herself forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, [and] imposing as the standard-bearer [of the army]?
10 Quem é esta que surge como a aurora, bela como a lua, brilhante como o sol, temível como um exército em ordem de batalha?
11 I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, [and] to see whether the vines flourished, [and] the pomegranates budded.
11 Eu desci ao jardim das nogueiras para ver a nova vegetação dos vales, e para ver se a vinha crescia e se as romãzeiras estavam em flor.
12 Or ever I was aware, my soul made me return [like] the chariots of Amminadib.
12 Eu não o sabia; minha alma colocou-me nos carros de Aminadab.
13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? [She shall be] as a multitude of tabernacles.:
13 - Volta, volta, ó Sulamita, volta, volta, para que nós te vejamos. - Por que olhais a Sulamita, quando ela entra na dança de Maanaim?
