1 Where has thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? where didst thy beloved separate himself? that we may seek him with thee.
1 Para onde foi o seu amado, ó mais linda das mulheres? Diga-nos para onde foi o seu amado e o procuraremos junto com você!
2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather the lilies.
2 O meu amado desceu ao seu jardim, aos canteiros de especiarias, para descansar nos jardins e colher lírios.
3 I [am] my beloved's, and my beloved [is] mine; he feeds among the lilies.
3 Eu sou do meu amado, e o meu amado é meu; ele descansa entre os lírios.
4 Thou [art] beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, as desirable as Jerusalem, imposing as the standard-bearer [of the army].
4 Minha querida, você é linda como Tirza, bela como Jerusalém, admirável como um exército e suas bandeiras.
5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me; thy hair [is] as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
5 Desvie de mim os seus olhos, pois eles me perturbam. Seu cabelo é como um rebanho de cabras que desce de Gileade.
6 Thy teeth [are] as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, of which every one bears twins, and [there is] not one barren among them.
6 Seus dentes são como um rebanho de ovelhas que sobem do lavadouro. Cada uma tem o seu par, não há nenhuma sem crias.
7 As slices of pomegranate [are] thy temples within thy locks.
7 Suas faces, por trás do véu, são como as metades de uma romã.
8 There are sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number.
8 Pode haver sessenta rainhas, e oitenta concubinas, e um número sem fim de virgens,
9 My dove is [but] one, my perfect [one]; she [is] the [only] one of her mother, she [is] the choice [one] of her that brought her into the light. The virgins saw her and called her blessed; [yea], the queens and the concubines and they praised her.
9 mas ela é única, a minha pomba, minha mulher ideal! Ela é a filha favorita de sua mãe, a predileta daquela que a deu à luz. Quando outras jovens a vêem, dizem que ela é muito feliz; as rainhas e as concubinas a elogiam.
10 Who [is] she [that] shows herself forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, [and] imposing as the standard-bearer [of the army]?
10 Quem é essa que aparece como o alvorecer, bela como a lua, brilhante como o sol, admirável como um exército e suas bandeiras?
11 I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, [and] to see whether the vines flourished, [and] the pomegranates budded.
11 Desci ao bosque das nogueiras para ver os renovos no vale, para ver se as videiras tinham brotado e se as romãs estavam em flor.
12 Or ever I was aware, my soul made me return [like] the chariots of Amminadib.
12 Antes que eu o percebesse, você me colocou entre as carruagens, com um príncipe ao meu lado.
13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? [She shall be] as a multitude of tabernacles.:
13 Volte, volte, Sulamita; volte, volte, para que a contemplemos. Por que vocês querem contemplar a Sulamita, como na dança de Maanaim?
