1 But Solomon built his own house in thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
1 Salomão também construiu para si um palácio e levou treze anos para terminá-lo.
2 He also built the house of the forest of Lebanon, which was one hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
2 Um dos edifícios que Salomão construiu se chamava Palácio da Floresta do Líbano. Media 45 metros de comprimento, 22,5 metros de largura e 13,5 metros de altura. Nele havia quatro fileiras de colunas de cedro, com grandes vigas de cedro assentadas sobre as colunas.
3 And [it was] covered with cedar above upon the beams that [lay] on forty-five pillars, fifteen [in] a row.
3 O teto do salão era de cedro e ficava acima das vigas, que eram sustentadas por colunas. Havia 45 vigas, dispostas em três fileiras com 15 vigas em cada uma.
4 And [there were] windows [in] three orders, one against another in three orders.
4 Em cada lado do longo salão havia três fileiras de janelas, uma de frente para a outra.
5 And all the doors and posts [were] square, with some windows opposite the other windows in three orders.
5 Todas as portas e suas vergas tinham batentes retangulares e eram dispostas de três em três, uma de frente para a outra.
6 And he made a porch of pillars, which was fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide, and the porch [was] before those others, with its corresponding pillars and thick beams.
6 Salomão também construiu o Salão das Colunas, que media 22,5 metros de comprimento e 13,5 metros de largura. Tinha na frente uma varanda com colunas e uma cobertura acima delas.
7 Then he made a porch for the throne where he was to judge, [even] the porch of judgment; and [it was] covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
7 Salomão construiu ainda a sala do trono, conhecida como Salão do Julgamento, onde se sentava para ouvir as questões a serem julgadas. A sala era revestida de madeira de cedro desde o piso até o teto.
8 And his house where he dwelt [had] another court within the porch, [which] was of like work. Solomon also made a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken [to wife], like unto this porch.
8 A residência onde ele morava ficava em torno de um pátio atrás do Salão do Julgamento e era construída da mesma forma. Ele também construiu uma residência semelhante para a filha do faraó, com quem havia se casado.
9 All these [works were of] costly stones, cut and sawed with saws according to the measurements, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and [so] on the outside unto the great court.
9 Todos esses edifícios foram construídos com grandes blocos de pedra de alta qualidade, cortados na medida exata de todos os lados, do alicerce até o beiral do telhado, desde o lado externo até o grande pátio.
10 And the foundation [was of] costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.
10 Algumas das grandes pedras do alicerce mediam 4,5 metros por 3,6 metros.
11 And above [were also] costly stones, hewed according to their measurements, and work of cedar.
11 Por cima dos alicerces foram colocados blocos de pedra de alta qualidade, cortados sob medida, e vigas de cedro.
12 And the great court round about had three orders of hewed stones and an order of cedar beams, and [likewise] the inner court of the house of the LORD and the porch of the house.
12 As paredes do grande pátio foram construídas com uma camada de vigas de cedro entre cada três camadas de pedras cortadas, como as paredes do pátio interno do templo do S enhor , com sua sala de entrada.
13 And King Solomon sent and brought Hiram out of Tyre,
13 O rei Salomão mandou que viesse de Tiro um homem chamado Hirão.
14 who was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father had been of Tyre. A worker in brass, full of wisdom and intelligence and knowledge in all work of brass. And he came to King Solomon and did all his work.
14 Ele era israelita por parte de mãe, uma viúva da tribo de Naftali, e seu pai, originário de Tiro, havia sido artífice em bronze. Hirão era extremamente hábil e talentoso em qualquer obra em bronze e veio realizar todo o trabalho com metais para o rei Salomão.
15 He made two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece, and a line of twelve cubits did compass each of them about.
15 Hirão fundiu duas colunas de bronze, cada uma com 8,1 metros de altura e 5,4 metros de circunferência.
16 And he made two chapiters [of] molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars; the height of the one chapiter [was] five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter [was] five cubits.
16 Para o alto das colunas, fundiu capitéis de bronze, com 2,25 metros de altura cada um.
17 [And] nets of checker work and wreaths of chain work for the chapiters which [were to be placed] upon the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter and seven for the other chapiter.
17 Cada capitel era enfeitado com sete conjuntos de correntes entrelaçadas.
18 And when he had made the pillars, he also made two orders [of pomegranates] round about upon the network to cover the chapiters that [were] upon the heads [of the pillars] with the pomegranates, and so did he for the other chapiter.
18 Para enfeitar os capitéis no alto das colunas, fez duas fileiras de romãs ao redor desses conjuntos de correntes.
19 And the chapiters that [were] upon the top of the pillars were in the form of lilies [like those seen] in the porch, for four cubits.
19 Os capitéis no alto das colunas da sala de entrada tinham forma de lírios e mediam 1,8 metro de altura.
20 And the chapiters upon the two pillars had two hundred pomegranates in two orders round about in each chapiter, on top of the belly of the chapiter, this belly being in front of the network.
20 Nos capitéis das duas colunas havia duzentas romãs dispostas em duas fileiras, perto da superfície arredondada e do conjunto de correntes entrelaçadas.
21 And he stood up the pillars in the porch of the temple. And when he had set up the right pillar, he called the name of it Jachin; and in standing up the left pillar, he called its name Boaz.
21 Hirão colocou as colunas na entrada do templo, uma à direita e outra à esquerda. À que estava à direita deu o nome de Jaquim; e à outra, à esquerda, deu o nome de Boaz.
22 And upon the top of the pillars [was] lily work, and so the work of the pillars was finished.
22 Os capitéis no alto das colunas tinham a forma de lírios. E assim foi terminada a obra das colunas.
23 Likewise, he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other; [it was] perfectly round, and its height [was] five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
23 Depois, Hirão fundiu um grande tanque redondo, que chamaram de Mar. O tanque media 4,5 metros de uma borda à outra, 2,25 metros de profundidade e 13,5 metros de circunferência.
24 And under the brim of it round about [there were] knops like gourds compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about in two orders, which were made when it was cast.
24 Logo abaixo da borda, tinha ao seu redor duas fileiras de frutos decorativos. Havia cerca de vinte frutos por metro em toda a circunferência, formando uma única peça de fundição com o tanque.
25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north and three looking toward the west and three looking toward the Negev and three looking toward the east; and upon them the sea rested, and all their hinder parts [were] inward.
25 O tanque ficava apoiado sobre doze touros, todos voltados para fora: três voltados para o norte, três para o oeste, três para o sul e três para o leste.
26 And it [was] a hand breadth thick, and its lip was made like the lip of a cup, with flowers of lilies; it contained two thousand baths.
26 As paredes do tanque tinham 8 centímetros de espessura, e sua borda se projetava para fora como uma taça, semelhante a um lírio. Tinha capacidade para cerca de 42 mil litros de água.
27 He also made ten bases of brass; four cubits [was] the length of each base and four cubits the width and three cubits the height.
27 Hirão também fez dez bases móveis de bronze para levar água. Cada uma media 1,8 metro de comprimento, 1,8 metro de largura e 1,35 metro de altura.
28 And the work of the bases was like this: they had borders, and the borders [were] between mouldings;
28 Foram construídos com painéis laterais presos com travessões.
29 and upon the borders that [were] between the mouldings [were] lions, oxen, and cherubim; and upon the mouldings of the base, above and beneath the lions and oxen [were] certain additions made of bevelled work.
29 Tanto os painéis como os travessões eram enfeitados com entalhes de leões, bois e querubins. Acima e abaixo dos leões e bois havia guirlandas decorativas.
30 And each base had four brasen wheels and cardinals of brass, and in its four corners it had shoulderpieces, which were molten at the side of each addition, to be under the laver.
30 Cada uma das bases tinha quatro rodas de bronze e eixos de bronze. Nos cantos das bases, havia suportes para as pias de bronze; os suportes eram decorados, de cada lado, com entalhes de guirlandas.
31 Its mouth entered into the chapiter ([in the joint that came out of the base]) one cubit above, and its mouth was rounded like the workmanship ([of the same joint]) in the base, of a cubit and a half. There were also engravings upon the mouth of it with their borders, which were square, not round.
31 Na parte superior de cada base havia um encaixe redondo para a bacia. Projetava-se 45 centímetros acima da parte superior da base, como um pedestal redondo, e sua abertura tinha 67,5 centímetros de um lado ao outro; do lado de fora, era enfeitada com entalhes de guirlandas. 32 And under the borders [were] the four wheels, and the axletrees of the wheels [came forth] from the same base. The height of each wheel [was] one and a half cubits.
32 Sob os painéis ficavam as quatro rodas ligadas aos eixos que haviam sido fundidos como parte da base. As rodas tinham 67,5 centímetros de diâmetro
33 And the workmanship of the wheels [was] like the workmanship of a chariot wheel, their axletrees and their rims and their spokes and their hubs [were] all molten.
33 e eram semelhantes a rodas de carros de guerra. Os eixos, raios, aros e cubos das rodas eram todos de bronze fundido.
34 Likewise, the four shoulderpieces to the four corners of each base, [and] the shoulderpieces [were] of the very base itself.
34 Em cada um dos quatro cantos da base havia alças, que também eram fundidas como parte da estrutura.
35 And in the top of the base [there was] a rounded compass of half a cubit high and on the top of the base, its mouldings and borders [which were] part of it.
35 Em volta da parte superior de cada base havia uma borda com 22,5 centímetros de largura. Os suportes nos cantos e os painéis laterais eram fundidos com a base, como se fossem uma só peça.
36 For on the tables of the mouldings and on the borders thereof, he made cherubim, lions, and palm trees, in front of the additions of each one round about.
36 Entalhes de querubins, leões e palmeiras enfeitavam os painéis e os suportes nos cantos em todos os espaços disponíveis, e havia guirlandas ao redor de tudo.
37 After this [manner] he made ten bases cast in the same manner, of the same size and of the same shape.
37 As dez bases tinham todas o mesmo tamanho e foram feitas iguais, cada uma fundida no mesmo molde.
38 Then he also made ten lavers of brass; each laver contained forty baths, [and] each laver measured four cubits; [and he set] a laver upon each one of the ten bases.
38 Hirão também fez dez pias menores de bronze, uma para cada base móvel. Cada pia media 1,8 metro de diâmetro e tinha capacidade para cerca de 840 litros de água.
39 And he put five bases on the right side of the house and five on the left side of the house, and he set the sea on the right side of the house to the east towards the Negev.
39 Ele colocou cinco bases do lado sul do templo e cinco do lado norte. O grande tanque de bronze chamado Mar foi colocado perto do canto sudeste do templo.
40 Hiram made the lavers and the shovels and the basins likewise. So Hiram finished all the work that he made King Solomon for the house of the LORD:
40 Também fez as bacias, pás e tigelas necessárias. Assim, Hirão terminou tudo que o rei Salomão havia ordenado que ele fizesse para o templo do S
41 [That is], the two pillars and the [two] bowls of the chapiters that [were] on the top of the two pillars and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which [were] upon the head of the pillars,
41 as duas colunas; os dois capitéis em forma de taça no alto das colunas; os dois conjuntos de correntes entrelaçadas que enfeitavam os capitéis;
42 and four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, [even] two orders of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [were] upon the heads of the pillars,
42 as quatrocentas romãs penduradas nas correntes nos capitéis (duas fileiras de romãs para cada conjunto de correntes que enfeitavam os capitéis no alto das colunas);
43 and the ten bases and ten lavers upon the bases,

44 and one sea and twelve oxen under the sea,

45 and the pots and the shovels and the basins and all the [other] vessels, which Hiram made to King Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.

46 And the king caused them all to be cast in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
46 O rei ordenou que fossem fundidos em moldes de barro no vale do Jordão, entre Sucote e Zaretã.
47 And Solomon did not inquire the weight of the brass of all the vessels because they were exceeding many.
47 Salomão não pesou todos esses objetos, porque eram muitos; o peso do bronze não pôde ser medido.
48 And Solomon made all the vessels that [pertained] unto the house of the LORD: an altar of gold, and a table upon which the showbread [was], also of gold,
48 Salomão também fez toda a mobília do templo do S enhor : o altar de ouro; a mesa de ouro para os pães da presença;
49 and the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right hand, and five on the left, in front of the oracle, with the flowers and the lamps and the tongs [of] gold,
49 os candelabros de ouro maciço, cinco do lado direito e cinco do lado esquerdo, em frente ao lugar santíssimo; os enfeites de flores, as lâmpadas e as tenazes, todos de ouro;
50 likewise the bowls and the snuffers and the basins and the spoons and the censers [of] pure gold, also the hinges of gold, [both] for the doors of the inner house, the holy of holies, [and] for the doors of the house of the temple.
50 os baldes pequenos, os cortadores de pavio, as tigelas, as colheres e os incensários, todos de ouro maciço; as dobradiças das portas de entrada para o lugar santíssimo e do salão principal do templo, revestidas com ouro.
51 So all the work that King Solomon made for the house of the LORD was complete. And Solomon brought in the things which David, his father, had dedicated, [even] the silver and the gold and the vessels, and he kept it [all] in the treasury of the house of the LORD.:
51 Assim, o rei Salomão concluiu toda a sua obra no templo do S enhor . Então trouxe todos os presentes que seu pai, Davi, havia consagrado — a prata, o ouro e os diversos objetos — e os guardou na tesouraria do templo do S enhor .
