6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashchenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

10 And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be mighty upon the earth.

17 The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.

18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19 And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one [was] Peleg because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother's name [was] Joktan.

20 And Joktan begat Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

22 Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,

24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

27 and Abram, who [is] Abraham.

28 The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

29 These [are] their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

32 Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she gave birth to Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

33 The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Enoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these [are] the sons of Keturah.

34 And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah.
35 Estes foram os filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalão e Corá.
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
36 Estes foram os filhos de Elifaz: Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gaetã e Quenaz; e Amaleque, de Timna, sua concumbina.
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
37 Estes foram os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá e Mizá.
38 The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
38 Estes foram os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Aná, Disom, Eser e Disã. Lotã tinha uma irmã chamada Timna.
39 The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and Timna [was] Lotan's sister.
39 Estes foram os filhos de Lotã: Hori e Homã.
40 The sons of Shobal: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
40 Estes foram os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô e Onã. Estes foram os filhos de Zibeão: Aiá e Aná.
41 Dishon was the son of Anah. The sons of Dishon: Amram, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
41 Este foi o filho de Aná: Disom. Estes foram os filhos de Disom: Hendã, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 Now these [are] the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before [any] king reigned over the sons of Israel. Bela, the son of Beor, and the name of his city [was] Dinhabah.
43 Estes foram os reis que reinaram no território de Edom antes que os israelitas tivessem um rei: Belá, filho de Beor. Sua cidade chamava-se Dinabá.
44 And when Bela was dead, Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his stead.
44 Belá morreu, e Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra, foi o seu sucessor.
45 And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 And when Husham was dead, Hadad, the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city [was] Avith.

47 And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 And when Samlah was dead, Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

49 And when Saul was dead, Baalhanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his stead.

50 And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead. The name of his city [was] Pai, and his wife's name [was] Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
50 Baal-Hanã morreu, e Hadade foi o seu sucessor. Sua cidade chamava-se Paú, e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede e neta de Mezaabe.
51 When Hadad was dead, the dukes came forth in Edom: Duke Timnah, Duke Aliah, Duke Jetheth,

52 Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
52 Oolibama, Elá, Pinom,

54 Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram. These [were] the dukes of Edom.:
