1 Jisọsu abyakwaphu bya egude ẹtu zilahaa ẹphe iphe; sụ:
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Lẹ teke Nchileke e-koshi lẹ ya bụ eze; bẹ ọo-dụlephu l'ọ bụ onye eze lanụ, nwatibe iya lụru nwanyi; yo shiaru nwatibe iya ono nri ẹswa-nwanyi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Yo shiebe iya; bya ezi ndu, ejeru iya ozi t'ẹphe je ekua ndu e ziru nzi nri ẹswa-nwanyi ono. Ndu ọbu te kwe abyabya.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Yọ bya ezikwaaphu ndu ozi iya ọdo; sụ ẹphe: ‘Unu je asụ ndu ono, e ziru nzi nri-wa lẹ ya megeekwaru: l'oke-eswi iya; mẹ okiri iya; bẹ ya gbushiakwaru; l'iphemiphe ọbule; bẹ ya kwakọbekwaru. Unu sụ ẹphe t'ẹphe bya lẹ nri ẹswa-nwanyi ọbu!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ndu ono, e kuru lẹ nri ẹswa-nwanyi ono apalẹ iya-a ẹka lanụ; jeshitsua mkpa ẹphe: onye lanụ jeru l'ẹgu; onye ọphu ejeshia ore aswa iya.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Ndu ọphunanu egude ndu ono, onye eze ziru ono; mee ẹphe iphe-iphere; woru ẹphe gbushia.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ẹhu eghua onye eze ono ntụmatu; yo zi ndu sọja iya; ẹphe eje egbushikota ndu mgbugbu-madzụ ono; tụkota ọku l'obodo ẹphe.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Tọ dụ iya bụ; onye eze ono abya ekua ndu ejeru iya ozi; sụ ẹphe: ‘Nri ẹswa-nwanyi ọbu b'e megheekwaru ẹge ọo-dụ. Obenu lẹ ndu e ziru nzi iya ta gbakwa k'eriri iya.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Ngwaa; unu wụfu lẹ gbororo; je atụko iphe bụ ndu unu phụru; kua t'ẹphe bya l'ajị ẹswa-nwanyi ọbu.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ndu ozi ono abya awụba lẹ gbororo; je erukoo iphe bụ ndu ẹphe phụru: ndu ọma; mẹ ndu ẹjo iya; ẹphe abya eji ụlo ono, eeme k'ẹswa-nwanyi ono.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Yo be teke eze ono byaru t'ọ phụ ndu, byaru l'ajị ẹswa-nwanyi ono; bya aphụa nwoke lanụ, ẹ-te yedu uwe ẹswa-nwanyi ono;
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 sụ iya: ‘Ọ̀nyà-e; ?nanụ ẹge e meru; nggu abata ẹke-a; l'ẹ b'i ye uwe ẹswa-nwanyi ọwaa?’ Nwoke ono ta ma iphe oo-kfu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nggụbe eze asụ ndu ozi iya: ‘Unu kekoo ya ẹka; mẹ ọkpa; pata iya tụa l'ẹkpuru-ọchi ogbodufu, bụ ẹke madzụ a-nọdu raa ẹjo ẹkwa; taa ikireze.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Jisọsu anmaẹbe ẹtu ono; bya asụ: “Lẹ ndu, Nchileke kuru hakwa l'igweligwe. Obenu lẹ ndu, ọ fọtaru habe ahabe.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Ndu Fárisii agashia ọchi idzu ẹge ẹphe e-shi gude okfu, Jisọsu ekfu hata iya l'ọnya.

16 Ẹphe aharu ye ndu nk'ẹphe; mẹ ndu ọ̀kpà kẹ Hérọdu t'ẹphe jekfu iya je ajịa ya ajị. Ẹphe erua; bya ajịa ya ẹge e ziru ẹphe; sụ iya: “O-zi-iphe! Ẹphe maru l'ị bụ onye ire-lanụ; yọ bụleruphu ụzo kẹ Nchileke; bẹ iizi ọgbodo ezizi; tọ dụ onye iile ẹnya l'ifu; tịi kpa ishi ẹge madzụ beru.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ?Nanụkpoo ẹge ọ dụ ngu: ?Ọ bụ omebyi ekemu Nchileke; mẹ ẹphe -tụje akịriko nụ Síza, bụ eze ndu Rómu?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Jisọsu amawarụ l'ẹphe arị ẹjo ọriri; bya asụ ẹphe: “?Bụ ngụnu meru iphe unu gude okfu ese iya ọhata l'ọnya; unubẹ o-kfuru-iche-eme-iche phẹ ono.
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Unu koshiedu iya okpoga, unu egudeje atụ akịriko ọbu.”
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Yọ sụ ẹphe: “?Bụ ishi onye; mẹ ẹpha onye b'e deru iya ẹge-a?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ẹphe asụ iya l'ọ bụ kẹ Síza.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ẹphe anụlephu iphe ono, o kfuru ono; yọ dụ ẹphe biribiri. Ẹphe aparu iya haa; yọ bụru ẹphe atụgbu.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Lẹ mbọku ono kwaphu; yo nweru ndu Sádusii, byakfutaru Jisọsu; mbụ ndu ọphu asụje l'ẹ te eshijedu l'ọnwu teta nọdu ndzụ. Ẹphe abyakfutashia Jisọsu bya asụ iya:

24 “O-zi-iphe! Iphe Mósisu deru l'ẹkwo ekemu bụ: ‘Ọ -bụru lẹ nwoke lụnyaaru nwanyi; nwụhu; tọ mụta nwa; tẹ nwunne iya lụpyabe nwanyi ono; k'ọphu ọo-mụtaru onye onanu, nwụhuru anwụhu ono nwa.’
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 L'o nweru unwunne ẹsaa, ẹphe l'ẹphe shi nọdu. Onye k'ọdungu alụa nwanyi; nọnyaa; bya anwụhu; l'ẹ b'o dobe m'ọo akọ lẹ mgboko. Yọ paru nyee ya ọbu haaru nwunne iya.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.

27 And last of all the woman also died.

28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jisọsu asụ ẹphe: “Unu eshisweje iya eshiswe; kẹ l'ẹkwo okfu Nchileke te dodu unu ẹnya; to do unu ẹnya mbụ ẹge ike Nchileke beru.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Teke ndu nwụhuru anwụhu shiwa l'ọnwu teta nọdu ndzụ; bẹ ẹphe ta alụhekwa nwanyi; nwanyi ta alụhe nji. Teke ono; bẹ ẹphe a-dụ l'ọ bụ ụnwu ojozi-imigwe.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘L'ọo yẹbe Nchileke bụ Nchileke kẹ Ébirihamu; bụru Nchileke kẹ Áyizaku; bya abụru Nchileke kẹ Jékọpu.’ Tọ dụ iya bụ lẹ ndu ono; bẹ nọ ndzụ ntanụ; kẹle Nchileke ta bụdu Nchileke ndu nwụhuru anwụhu; ọ bụ Nchileke ndu nọ ndzụ.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Ikpoto ndu ono anụle iya phụ; iphe, oozi adụ ẹphe biribiri.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Onye lanụ l'ẹphe, bụ onye ezije ekemu egude ajị eme t'ọ hata Jisọsu l'ọnya; bya asụ iya:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “O-zi-iphe! ?Nanụkpoo ekemu ọphu kakọta nụ l'iphe, bụ ekemu?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Jisọsu asụ iya: “ ‘Yeru Nnajiufu, bụ Nchileke ngu obu ngu l'ọ ha. Gude ndzụ ngu l'ọ ha; mẹ uche ngu l'ọ ha; yeru iya obu.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Ọ bụ ono bụ ekemu ọphu kakọta nụ; bụru iya katsụkpo mkpa.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 K'ẹbo ya, dụkwaphu mkpa ẹge ọdo bụ: ‘Yeru madzụ ibe ngu obu ẹge i yeru onwongu.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Ọ bụ l'ekemu labụ-wa; bẹ iphe bụ ekemu l'ọ ha yẹle iphe ndu nkfuchiru Nchileke deru l'ẹkwo tụkoru kpakọ.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Yo be teke ndu Fárisii dzukoru l'ẹkalanu; Jisọsu ajịa ẹphe:
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “?Bụkpo ngụnu; bẹ unu arị lẹ kẹ Onye Ndzọta ono, Nchileke kweru ụkwa iya ono? ?Bụ nwatibe onye b'ọ bụ?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yọ sụ ẹphe: “?Bụkwanu ngụnu kparu iphe Ume Nchileke meru Dévidi; yoo kuje iya ‘Nnajiufu;’ bya asụkwaphu:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘Lẹ Nchileke sụru
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Ọ -bụru lẹ Dévidi eku onye ono, Nchileke kweru ụkwa iya ono ‘Nnajiufu iya;’ ?nanụ ẹge e shi b'o gbe bya abụwaru nụ Nwatibe Dévidi.”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Tọ dụ onye dụru ike yeeru iya ọnu; tọ ka mma l'ọo akpụru okfu lanụ. Keshinu mbọku ono b'ẹ tọ dụbuhe onye tụkwaduru ama ọji Jisọsu ajị ọdo.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
