¹ To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.

¹ Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia.

² Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.

² Pelo que não temeremos, ainda que a terra se mude, e ainda que os montes se projetem para o meio dos mares;

³ Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. Selah,

³ ainda que as águas rujam e espumem, ainda que os montes se abalem pela sua braveza.

⁴ Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.

⁴ Há um rio cujas correntes alegram a cidade de Deus, o lugar santo das moradas do Altíssimo.

⁵ God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.

⁵ Deus está no meio dela; não será abalada; Deus a ajudará desde o raiar da alva.

⁶ When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.

⁶ Bramam nações, reinos se abalam; ele levanta a sua voz, e a terra se derrete.

⁷ The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. Selah.

⁷ O Senhor dos exércitos está conosco; o Deus de Jacó é o nosso refúgio.

⁸ Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

⁸ Vinde contemplai as obras do Senhor, as desolações que tem feito na terra.

⁹ He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.

⁹ Ele faz cessar as guerras até os confins da terra; quebra o arco e corta a lança; queima os carros no fogo.

¹⁰ Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.

¹⁰ Aquietai-vos, e sabei que eu sou Deus; sou exaltado entre as nações, sou exaltado na terra.

¹¹ The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. Selah.
