¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

¹ Louvai ao SENHOR. Louvai, servos do SENHOR, louvai o nome do SENHOR.

² Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

² Seja bendito o nome do Senhor, desde agora para sempre.

³ The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

³ Desde o nascimento do sol até ao ocaso, seja louvado o nome do Senhor.

⁴ The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

⁴ Exaltado está o Senhor acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória sobre os céus.

⁵ Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

⁵ Quem é como o Senhor nosso Deus, que habita nas alturas?

⁶ Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

⁶ O qual se inclina, para ver o que está nos céus e na terra!

⁷ He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

⁷ Levanta o pobre do pó e do monturo levanta o necessitado,

⁸ That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

⁸ Para o fazer assentar com os príncipes, mesmo com os príncipes do seu povo.

⁹ He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.
