¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

¹ Louvai ao Senhor. Louvai, servos do Senhor, louvai o nome do Senhor.

² Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

² Bendito seja o nome do Senhor, desde agora e para sempre.

³ The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

³ Desde o nascimento do sol até o seu ocaso, há de ser louvado o nome do Senhor.

⁴ The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

⁴ Exaltado está o Senhor acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória acima dos céus.

⁵ Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

⁵ Quem é semelhante ao Senhor nosso Deus, que tem o seu assento nas alturas,

⁶ Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

⁶ que se inclina para ver o que está no céu e na terra?

⁷ He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

⁷ Ele levanta do pó o pobre, e do monturo ergue o necessitado,

⁸ That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

⁸ para o fazer sentar com os príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo.

⁹ He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.
