¹ A Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

¹ Cantarei a misericórdia e o juízo; a ti, SENHOR, cantarei.

² I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

² Portar-me-ei com inteligência no caminho reto. Quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração sincero.

³ I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

³ Não porei coisa má diante dos meus olhos. Odeio a obra daqueles que se desviam; não se me pegará a mim.

⁴ A froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

⁴ Um coração perverso se apartará de mim; não conhecerei o homem mau.

⁵ Him that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

⁵ Aquele que murmura do seu próximo às escondidas, eu o destruirei; aquele que tem olhar altivo e coração soberbo, não suportarei.

⁶ Mine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

⁶ Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que se assentem comigo; o que anda num caminho reto, esse me servirá.

⁷ There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

⁷ O que usa de engano não ficará dentro da minha casa; o que fala mentiras não estará firme perante os meus olhos.

⁸ Betimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.

⁸ Pela manhã destruirei todos os ímpios da terra, para desarraigar da cidade do Senhor todos os que praticam a iniqüidade.
