1 Who is this that commeth from Edom, with red garments from Bozrah? hee is glorious in his apparel and walketh in his great strength: I speake in righteousnesse, and am mightie to saue.
1 Quem é este que vem de Edom, de Bozra, com vestes tingidas? Este que é glorioso no seu vestuário, avançando na grandeza da sua força? Eu que falo em justiça, poderoso para salvar.
2 Wherefore is thine apparel red, and thy garments like him that treadeth in ye wine presse?
2 Por conseguinte, és tu vermelho em teu vestuário, e tuas vestes como aquele que pisa no lagar?
3 I haue troden the wine presse alone, and of all people there was none with mee: for I will treade them in mine anger, and tread them vnder foote in my wrath, and their blood shalbe sprinkled vpon my garments, and I will staine all my raiment.
3 Eu tenho pisado o lagar sozinho e dentre os povos não houve ninguém comigo, porque eu irei pisá-los em minha ira e esmagá-los em minha fúria, e o sangue deles será salpicado sobre minhas vestes, e eu mancharei todo o meu traje.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the yeere of my redeemed is come.
4 Porque o dia da vingança está em meu coração e o ano de meus redimidos é chegado.
5 And I looked, and there was none to helpe, and I wondered that there was none to vpholde: therefore mine owne arme helped me, and my wrath it selfe sustained me.
5 E, eu olhei e não havia ninguém para ajudar, e, eu me admirei que não houvesse ninguém para suster. Portanto, meu próprio braço trouxe-me salvação; e minha fúria, que me susteve.
6 Therefore I wil tread downe the people in my wrath, and make them drunken in mine indignation, and wil bring downe their strength to the earth.
6 E, eu irei pisar os povos em minha ira, e os tornarei bêbados de minha fúria, e, eu derrubarei a força deles em direção à terra.
7 I wil remember the mercies of the Lord and the prayses of the Lord according vnto all that the Lord hath giuen vs, and for the great goodnesse toward the house of Israel, which hee hath giuen them according to his tender loue, and according to his great mercies.
7 Eu irei mencionar as misericórdias do SENHOR e os louvores do SENHOR, de acordo com tudo que o SENHOR tem dispensado sobre nós, e a grande bondade para com a casa de Israel, a qual ele tem concedido sobre eles de acordo com as suas misericórdias, e de acordo com a multidão das suas misericórdias.
8 For he saide, Surely they are my people, children that wil not lie: so he was their Sauiour.
8 Porque ele disse: Certamente, eles são meu povo, filhos que não mentirão. Por isso, ele foi o Salvador deles.
9 In all their troubles he was troubled, and the Angel of his presence saued them: in his loue and in his mercie he redeemed them, and he bare them and caried them alwayes continually.
9 Em toda a aflição deles, ele foi afligido, e o anjo de sua presença os salvou. No seu amor, e na sua piedade, ele os redimiu. E ele os susteve e os carregou todos os dias, desde a antiguidade.
10 But they rebelled and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore was hee turned to be their enemie and he fought against them.
10 Eles, porém, se rebelaram e importunaram seu Santo Espírito. Portanto, ele tornou-se seu inimigo, e ele lutou contra eles.
11 Then he remembred the olde time of Moses and his people, saying, Where is hee that brought them vp out of the Sea with the shepheard of his sheepe? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
11 Então, ele se lembrou dos dias dos tempos antigos. Moisés e o povo dele, dizendo: Onde está aquele que os sacou do mar, com o pastor de seu rebanho? Onde está aquele que colocou seu Santo Espírito dentro dele?
12 He led them by the right hand of Moses with his owne glorious arme, deuiding the water before them, to make himselfe an euerlasting Name.
12 Que os guiou por meio da mão direita de Moisés com seu glorioso braço, dividindo a água diante deles para fazer a si mesmo um nome eterno?
13 Hee led them through the deepe, as an horse in the wildernesse, that they should not stumble,
13 Que os guiou através da profundidade, como um cavalo no deserto, para que eles não viessem tropeçar?
14 As the beast goeth downe into the valley, the Spirite of the Lord gaue them rest: so diddest thou leade thy people, to make thy selfe a glorious Name.
14 Da mesma forma que um animal quadrúpede desce ao vale, o Espírito do SENHOR os fez descansar. Então, tu guiaste teu povo para fazer a ti mesmo um glorioso nome.
15 Looke downe from heauen, and beholde from the dwelling place of thine holines, and of thy glory. Where is thy zeale and thy strength, the multitude of thy mercies, and of thy compassions? they are restrained from me.
15 Olha para baixo desde o céu, e observa desde a habitação da tua santidade, e da tua glória. Onde está teu zelo e tua força, a comoção de tuas entranhas e de tuas misericórdias para comigo? Estão elas recolhidas?
16 Doutles thou art our Father: though Abraham be ignorant of vs, and Israel knowe vs not, yet thou, O Lord, art our Father, and our redeemer: thy Name is for euer.
16 Sem dúvida tu és nosso Pai, embora Abraão não saiba a nosso respeito, e Israel não nos reconheça. Tu, ó SENHOR, és nosso Pai, nosso Redentor; teu nome é desde a eternidade.
17 O Lord, why hast thou made vs to erre from thy wayes? and hardened our heart from thy feare? Returne for thy seruants sake, and for the tribes of thine inheritance.
17 Ó SENHOR, por que tu nos tens feito desviar dos teus caminhos e endureceste nosso coração para com o teu temor? Retorna, por amor de teus servos, as tribos da tua herança.
18 The people of thine holinesse haue possessed it, but a litle while: for our aduersaries haue troden downe thy Sanctuarie.
18 O povo da tua santidade a tem possuído, porém por um curto período de tempo. Nossos adversários têm pisoteado teu santuário.
19 We haue bene as they, ouer whome thou neuer barest rule, and vpon whom thy Name was not called.
19 Nós somos teus. Tu nunca intentaste governá-los. Eles não foram chamados pelo teu nome.
