1 Yet nowe heare, O Iaakob my seruant, and Israel, whom I haue chosen.
1 Contudo, agora escuta, ó Jacó, meu servo; e Israel, a quem eu tenho escolhido.
2 Thus sayeth the Lord, that made thee, and formed thee from the wombe: he wil helpe thee. Feare not, O Iaakob, my seruaunt, and thou righteous, whome I haue chosen.
2 Assim diz o SENHOR que te fez e te formou desde o útero, o qual te ajudará: Não temas, ó Jacó, meu servo, e tu Jesurum, a quem eu tenho escolhido.
3 For I will powre water vpon the thirstie, and floods vpon the drie grounde: I will powre my Spirit vpon thy seede, and my blessing vpon thy buddes.
3 Porque eu derramarei copiosamente água sobre aquele que está sedento, e enchentes sobre o chão seco. Eu derramarei copiosamente meu Espírito sobre a tua semente, e minha bênção sobre a tua descendência.
4 And they shall grow as among the grasse, and as the willowes by the riuers of waters.
4 E eles brotarão como entre a erva; como salgueiros próximos a cursos de água.
5 One shall say, I am the Lordes: another shalbe called by the name of Iaakob: and another shall subscribe with his hand vnto the Lord, and name himselfe by the name of Israel.
5 Um dirá: Eu sou do SENHOR; e outro chamará a si mesmo pelo nome de Jacó; e outro assinará com sua mão - pelo SENHOR - e dará a si mesmo, como sobrenome, o nome de Israel.
6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel and his redeemer, the Lord of hostes, I am the first, and I am the last, and without me is there no God.
6 Assim diz o SENHOR, o Rei de Israel e seu Redentor, o SENHOR dos Exércitos. Eu sou o primeiro e eu sou o último, e fora de mim não há Deus.
7 And who is like me, that shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order before me, since I appointed the ancient people? and what is at hand, and what things are to come? let them shewe vnto them.
7 E quem, como eu, chamará e declarará isto e disporá isto em ordem para mim, uma vez que estabeleci os povos antigos? E as coisas que estão vindo e virão, deixe-os mostrá-las.
8 Feare ye not, neither be afraide: haue not I tolde thee of olde, and haue declared it? you are euen my witnesses, whether there be a God beside me, and that there is no God that I knowe not.
8 Não temais vós, nem estejais com medo. Não tenho eu te anunciado desde aquele tempo e o tenho declarado? Vós sois, minhas testemunhas. Existe um Deus além de mim? Verdadeiramente não há nenhum Deus, eu não conheço nenhum.
9 All they that make an image, are vanitie, and their delectable things shall nothing profite: and they are their owne witnesses, that they see not nor know: therefore they shalbe confounded.
9 Aqueles que fazem uma imagem esculpida são todos eles sem valor, e suas coisas deleitáveis não os beneficiarão. E eles são suas próprias testemunhas. Eles não veem, nem conhecem, para que eles possam ser envergonhados.
10 Who hath made a god, or molten an image, that is profitable for nothing?
10 Quem tem formado um deus, ou fundido uma imagem esculpida que seja proveitosa para alguma utilidade?
11 Beholde, all that are of the fellowship thereof, shall be confounded: for the workemen themselues are men: let them all be gathered together, and stand vp, yet they shall feare, and be confounded together.
11 Eis que todos os seus seguidores serão envergonhados; e os artesãos, eles são filhos de homens. Deixe-os estarem reunidos, deixe-os levantar. Contudo, eles temerão e serão envergonhados juntamente.
12 The smith taketh an instrument, and worketh in the coles, and facioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his armes: yea, he is an hungred, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
12 O ferreiro com a tenaz tanto trabalha nas brasas quanto o modela com martelos; e o trabalha com a força de seus braços. Verdadeiramente ele está faminto, e sua força desvanece. Ele não bebe água e está desfalecido.
13 The carpenter stretcheth out a line: he facioneth it with a red thread, he planeth it, and he purtreyeth it with the compasse, and maketh it after the figure of a man, and according to the beautie of a man that it may remaine in an house.
13 O carpinteiro estende sua régua; ele delimita a madeira com uma linha. Ele adapta sua forma com plainas, e ele a delimita com o compasso e a faz imitando a figura de um homem, conforme a beleza de um homem, para que possa colocá-lo na casa.
14 He will hewe him downe cedars, and take the pine tree and the oke, and taketh courage among the trees of the forest: he planteth a firre tree, and the raine doeth nourish it.
14 Para ele se corta os cedros, e toma o cipreste e o carvalho, os quais ele deixou robustecer para si mesmo dentre as árvores da floresta. Ele planta um pinheiro e a chuva o nutre.
15 And man burneth thereof: for he will take thereof and warme himselfe: he also kindleth it and baketh bread, yet he maketh a god, and worshippeth it: he maketh it an idole and boweth vnto it.
15 Então servirá para um homem queimar, pois o pegará para aquecer-se; sim, ele o queimará, e assará pão; sim, ele fará um deus e o adorará. Ele faz disso uma imagem esculpida e se prostra diante dela.
16 He burneth the halfe thereof euen in the fire, and vpon the halfe thereof he eateth flesh: he rosteth the roste and is satisfied: also he warmeth himselfe and sayth, Aha, I am warme, I haue bene at the fire.
16 Ele queima uma parte no fogo; com outra parte ele come carne; e assa carne e fica satisfeito; sim, ele se aquece e diz: Ah! Eu estou aquecido, eu tenho visto o fogo.
17 And the residue thereof he maketh a god, euen his idole: he boweth vnto it, and worshippeth and prayeth vnto it, and sayeth, Deliuer me: for thou art my god.
17 E, do resíduo ele faz um deus, sua imagem esculpida; ele se prostra perante ela, e a adora, e ora a ela, e diz: Livra-me, pois tu és meu deus.
18 They haue not knowen, nor vnderstand: for God hath shut their eyes that they cannot see, and their heartes, that they cannot vnderstand.
18 Eles não têm conhecido, nem entendido, porque ele tem fechado os olhos deles para que não possam ver; e seus corações, para que não possam entender.
19 And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor vnderstanding to say, I haue burnt halfe of it, euen in the fire, and haue baked bread also vpon the coles thereof: I haue rosted flesh, and eaten it, and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I bowe to the stocke of a tree?
19 E ninguém considera dentro de seu coração, nem há conhecimento, nem entendimento para dizer: Eu tenho queimado parte disso no fogo; sim, também tenho assado pão sobre as brasas daquilo. Eu tenho assado carne e a comido e farei eu do resíduo de uma árvore uma abominação? Prostrar-me-ei perante o tronco de uma árvore?
20 He feedeth of ashes: a seduced heart hath deceiued him, that he cannot deliuer his soule, nor say, Is there not a lye in my right hand?
20 Ele alimenta-se de cinzas. Um coração enganado o tem desviado, para que não possa livrar sua alma nem dizer: Não há uma mentira em minha mão direita?
21 Remember these (O Iaakob and Israel) for thou art my seruant: I haue formed thee: thou art my seruant: O Israel forget me not.
21 Lembrem-se destes, ó Jacó, e Israel, porque tu és meu servo. Eu tenho te formado. Tu és meu servo. Ó Israel, tu não serás esquecido por mim.
22 I haue put away thy transgressions like a cloude, and thy sinnes, as a mist: turne vnto me, for I haue redeemed thee.
22 Eu tenho apagado, como uma nuvem espessa, tuas transgressões e, como uma nuvem, teus pecados. Retorna para mim, porque eu tenho te redimido.
23 Reioyce, ye heauens: for the Lord hath done it: shoute, ye lower partes of the earth: brast foorth into prayses, ye mountaines, O forest and euery tree therein: for the Lord hath redeemed Iaakob and will be glorified in Israel.
23 Cantai, ó vós, céus, porque o SENHOR tem feito isto. Gritai, vós partes baixas da terra. Irrompei em canto, vós montes, ó floresta, e cada árvore dela, porque o SENHOR tem redimido Jacó e glorificado a si mesmo em Israel.
24 Thus sayeth the Lord thy redeemer and he that formed thee from the wombe, I am the Lord, that made all things, that spred out the heauens alone, and stretched out the earth by my selfe.
24 Assim diz o SENHOR, teu Redentor, e aquele que te formou desde o útero: Eu sou o SENHOR que faz todas as coisas, que estende os céus sozinho, que sozinho posiciona a terra.
25 I destroy the tokens of ye southsayers, and make them that coniecture, fooles, and turne the wise men backwarde, and make their knowledge foolishnesse.
25 Que frustra os presságios dos mentirosos, e torna adivinhadores loucos; que faz homens sábios retrocederem e torna seu conhecimento tolo.
26 He confirmeth the worde of his seruant and performeth the counsell of his messengers, saying to Ierusalem, Thou shalt bee inhabited: and to the cities of Iudah, Yee shall be built vp, and I will repayre the decayed places thereof.
26 Que confirma a palavra do seu servo e efetua o conselho dos mensageiros dele; que diz a Jerusalém: Tu serás habitada. E para as cidades de Judá: Vós sereis edificadas e eu erguerei os lugares em ruínas dali.
27 He saith to the deepe, Be drye and I will drye vp thy floods.
27 Que diz ao oceano: Seque; e: Eu secarei teus rios.
28 He saith to Cyrus, Thou art my shepheard: and he shall performe all my desire: saying also to Ierusalem, Thou shalt be built: and to the Temple, Thy foundation shall be surely layed.
28 Que diz de Ciro: Ele é meu pastor e realizará toda a minha vontade. Dizendo a Jerusalém: Tu serás edificada. E para o templo: Teu alicerce será posto.
