1 Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.
1 São estes os descendentes de Sem, Cam e Jafé, os filhos de Noé. Aos três nasceram filhos depois do dilúvio.
2 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
2 Os filhos de Jafé foram Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tirás.
3 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
3 Os filhos de Gomer foram Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma.
4 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
4 Os descendentes de Javã foram os povos de Elisá, Espanha, Chipre e Rodes.
5 Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.
5 Esses foram os descendentes de Jafé; eles moram no litoral e nas ilhas, cada povo e cada família na sua própria terra, com a sua própria língua.
6 Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
6 Os filhos de Cam foram Cuche, Egito, Líbia e Canaã.
7 And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
7 Os filhos de Cuche foram Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabteca. Os filhos de Raamá foram Sabá e Dedã.
8 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
8 Cuche foi pai de Ninrode, o primeiro grande conquistador do mundo.
9 He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.
9 Com a ajuda de Deus, o Senhor , ele se tornou um caçador famoso, e é por isso que se diz: “Seja igual a Ninrode, que com a ajuda do Senhor foi um grande caçador.”
10 And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
10 No começo faziam parte do seu reino as cidades de Babilônia, Ereque e Acade, todas as três em Sinar.
11 Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:
11 Daquela região Ninrode foi para a Assíria e ali construiu as cidades de Nínive, Reobote-Ir, Calá
12 Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.
12 e Resém, que fica entre Nínive e a grande cidade de Calá.
13 And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.
13 Os descendentes de Egito foram os povos da Lídia, Anam, Leabe, Naftu,
14 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.
14 Patrus, Caslu e de Creta, de quem os filisteus descendem.
15 Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
15 Canaã foi pai de dois filhos: Sidom, o mais velho, e Hete.
16 And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,
16 De Canaã também descendem os jebuseus, os amorreus, os girgaseus,
17 And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,
17 os heveus, os arquitas, os sineus,
18 And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.
18 os arvaditas, os zemareus e os hamateus.
19 Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.
19 O território dos cananeus se estendeu para o sul desde Sidom até Gerar, perto de Gaza; e para o leste foi até Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá e Zeboim, perto de Lasa.
20 These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.
20 Esses foram os descendentes de Cam, cada povo e cada família na sua própria terra, com a sua própria língua.
21 Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.
21 Sem, o irmão mais velho de Jafé, foi o pai de todos os hebreus.
22 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
22 Os filhos de Sem foram Elão, Assur, Arpaxade, Lude e Arã.
23 And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
23 Os filhos de Arã foram Uz, Hul, Géter e Más.
24 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
24 Arpaxade foi o pai de Selá, e Selá foi o pai de Éber.
25 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
25 Éber foi pai de dois filhos: um se chamava Pelegue porque no seu tempo os povos do mundo foram divididos; o seu irmão se chamava Joctã.
26 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,
26 Joctã foi pai de Almodá, Selefe, Hazar-Mavé, Jera,
27 And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,
27 Adonirão, Uzal, Dicla,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
28 Obal, Abimael, Sabá,
29 And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
29 Ofir, Havilá e Jobabe. Todos estes foram filhos de Joctã.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.
30 Eles viveram nas terras que vão desde a região de Mesa até Sefar, na região montanhosa do Leste.
31 These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.
31 Estes foram os descendentes de Sem, cada povo e cada família na sua própria terra, com a sua própria língua.
32 These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
32 São essas as famílias dos filhos de Noé, nação por nação, de acordo com as várias linhas de descendentes. Depois do dilúvio todas as nações da terra descenderam de Noé.
