1 Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.
1 São estas as gerações de Sem, Cam e Jafé, os filhos de Noé. A eles nasceram filhos depois do dilúvio.
2 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
2 Os filhos de Jafé foram: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tiras.
3 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
3 Os filhos de Gomer foram: Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma.
4 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
4 Os filhos de Javã foram: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Dodanim.
5 Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.
5 Estes repartiram entre si as ilhas das nações nas suas terras, cada qual segundo a sua língua, segundo as suas famílias, em suas nações.
6 Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
6 Os filhos de Cam foram: Cuxe, Mizraim, Pute e Canaã.
7 And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
7 Os filhos de Cuxe foram: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá; e os filhos de Raamá: Sabá e Dedã.
8 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
8 Cuxe gerou Ninrode, que começou a ser poderoso na terra.
9 He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.
9 Foi valente caçador diante do Senhor . Daí dizer-se: “Como Ninrode, poderoso caçador diante do Senhor .”
10 And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
10 O princípio do seu reino foi Babel, Ereque, Acade e Calné, na terra de Sinar.
11 Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:
11 Daquela terra ele foi para a Assíria e edificou Nínive, Reobote-Ir e Calá.
12 Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.
12 E, entre Nínive e Calá, a grande cidade de Resém.
13 And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.
13 Mizraim gerou Ludim, Anamim, Leabim, Naftuim,
14 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.
14 Patrusim, Casluim (de quem descendem os filisteus) e Caftorim.
15 Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
15 Canaã gerou Sidom, seu primogênito, e Hete,
16 And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,
16 e também os jebuseus, os amorreus, os girgaseus,
17 And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,
17 os heveus, os arqueus, os sineus,
18 And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.
18 os arvadeus, os zemareus e os hamateus. Depois as famílias dos cananeus se espalharam.
19 Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.
19 E a fronteira dos cananeus foi desde Sidom, indo para Gerar, até Gaza, indo para Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá e Zeboim, até Lasa.
20 These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.
20 São estes os filhos de Cam, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
21 Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.
21 A Sem, que foi pai de todos os filhos de Héber e irmão mais velho de Jafé, também nasceram filhos.
22 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
22 Os filhos de Sem foram: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude e Arã.
23 And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
23 Os filhos de Arã foram: Uz, Hul, Geter e Más.
24 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
24 Arfaxade gerou Salá, e Salá gerou Héber.
25 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
25 A Héber nasceram dois filhos: o nome de um foi Pelegue, porque em seus dias se repartiu a terra; e o nome de seu irmão foi Joctã.
26 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,
26 Joctã gerou Almodá, Selefe, Hazar-Mavé, Jerá,
27 And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,
27 Hadorão, Uzal, Dicla,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
28 Obal, Abimael, Sabá,
29 And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
29 Ofir, Havilá e Jobabe. Todos estes foram filhos de Joctã.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.
30 E habitaram desde Messa, indo para Sefar, montanha do Oriente.
31 These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.
31 São estes os filhos de Sem, segundo as suas famílias, segundo as suas línguas, em suas terras, em suas nações.
32 These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
32 São estas as famílias dos filhos de Noé, segundo as suas gerações, nas suas nações; e destes foram disseminadas as nações na terra, depois do dilúvio.
