1 And I sawe another mightie Angel come downe from heauen, clothed with a cloude, and the raine bowe vpon his head, and his face was as the sunne, and his feete as pillars of fire.
1 E vi outro anjo forte, que descia do céu, vestido de uma nuvem; e por cima da sua cabeça estava o arco celeste, e o rosto era como o sol, e os pés, como colunas de fogo;
2 And hee had in his hande a little booke open, and he put his right foote vpon the sea, and his left on the earth,
2 e tinha na mão um livrinho aberto e pôs o pé direito sobre o mar e o esquerdo sobre a terra;
3 And cried with a loude voyce, as when a lyon roareth: and when he had cried, seuen thunders vttered their voyces.
3 e clamou com grande voz, como quando brama o leão; e, havendo clamado, os sete trovões fizeram soar as suas vozes.
4 And whe the seuen thunders had vttered their voyces, I was about to write: but I heard a voice from heauen saying vnto me, Seale vp those things which the seuen thunders haue spoken, and write them not.
4 E, sendo ouvidas dos sete trovões as suas vozes, eu ia escrevê-las, mas ouvi uma voz do céu, que dizia: Sela o que os sete trovões falaram e não o escrevas.
5 And the Angel which I sawe stand vpon the sea, and vpon the earth, lift vp his hand to heauen,
5 E o anjo que vi estar sobre o mar e sobre a terra levantou a mão ao céu
6 And sware by him that liueth for euermore, which created heauen, and the thinges that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the thinges that therein are, that time should be no more.
6 e jurou por aquele que vive para todo o sempre, o qual criou o céu e o que nele há, e a terra e o que nela há, e o mar e o que nele há, que não haveria mais demora;
7 But in the dayes of the voyce of the seuenth Angel, when he shall beginne to blow the trumpet, euen the mysterie of God shalbe finished, as he hath declared to his seruants the Prophets.
7 mas nos dias da voz do sétimo anjo, quando tocar a sua trombeta, se cumprirá o segredo de Deus, como anunciou aos profetas, seus servos.
8 And the voyce which I heard from heauen, spake vnto me againe, and said, Go and take the litle booke which is open in the hand of the Angel, which standeth vpon the sea and vpon the earth.
8 E a voz que eu do céu tinha ouvido tornou a falar comigo e disse: Vai e toma o livrinho aberto da mão do anjo que está em pé sobre o mar e sobre a terra.
9 So I went vnto the Angel, and saide to him, Giue me the litle booke. And he said vnto me, Take it, and eate it vp, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shalbe in thy mouth as sweete as honie.
9 E fui ao anjo, dizendo-lhe: Dá-me o livrinho. E ele disse-me: Toma-o e come-o, e ele fará amargo o teu ventre, mas na tua boca será doce como mel.
10 Then I tooke the litle booke out of ye Angels hand, and ate it vp, and it was in my mouth as sweete as hony: but whe I had eaten it my belly was bitter.
10 E tomei o livrinho da mão do anjo e comi-o; e na minha boca era doce como mel; e, havendo-o comido, o meu ventre ficou amargo.
11 And he said vnto me, Thou must prophecie againe among the people and nations, and tongues, and to many Kings.
11 E ele disse-me: Importa que profetizes outra vez a muitos povos, e nações, e línguas, e reis.
