1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
1 No ano vinte e sete de Jeroboão, rei de Israel, começou a reinar Azarias, filho de Amazias, rei de Judá.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
2 Tinha dezesseis anos quando começou a reinar, e cinqüenta e dois anos reinou em Jerusalém; e era o nome de sua mãe Jecolias, de Jerusalém.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
3 E fez o que era reto aos olhos do Senhor, conforme tudo o que fizera Amazias, seu pai.
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
4 Tão-somente os altos não foram tirados; porque o povo ainda sacrificava e queimava incenso nos altos.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
5 E o Senhor feriu o rei, e ficou leproso até ao dia da sua morte; e habitou numa casa separada; porém Jotão, filho do rei, tinha o cargo da casa, julgando o povo da terra.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
6 Ora, o mais dos atos de Azarias, e tudo o que fez, porventura não está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Judá?
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
7 E Azarias dormiu com seus pais e o sepultaram junto a seus pais, na cidade de Davi; e Jotão, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
8 No ano trinta e oito de Azarias, rei de Judá, reinou Zacarias, filho de Jeroboão, sobre Israel, em Samaria, seis meses.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
9 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor, como tinham feito seus pais; nunca se apartou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com que fez pecar a Israel.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
10 E Salum, filho de Jabes, conspirou contra ele e feriu-o diante do povo, e matou-o; e reinou em seu lugar.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
11 Ora, o mais dos atos de Zacarias, eis que está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
12 Esta foi a palavra do Senhor, que falou a Jeú: Teus filhos, até à quarta geração, se assentarão sobre o trono de Israel. E assim foi.
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
13 Salum, filho de Jabes, começou a reinar no ano trinta e nove de Uzias, rei de Judá, e reinou um mês inteiro em Samaria.
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
14 Porque Menaém, filho de Gadi, subiu de Tirza, e veio a Samaria; e feriu a Salum, filho de Jabes, em Samaria, e o matou, e reinou em seu lugar.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
15 Ora, o mais dos atos de Salum, e a conspiração que fez, eis que está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
16 Então Menaém feriu a Tifsa, e a todos os que nela havia, como também a seus termos desde Tirza, porque não lha tinham aberto; e os feriu, pois, e a todas as mulheres grávidas fendeu pelo meio.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
17 Desde o ano trinta e nove de Azarias, rei de Judá, Menaém, filho de Gadi, começou a reinar sobre Israel, e reinou dez anos em Samaria.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
18 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor; todos os seus dias não se apartou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com que fez pecar a Israel.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
19 Então veio Pul, rei da Assíria, contra a terra; e Menaém deu a Pul mil talentos de prata, para que este o ajudasse a firmar o reino na sua mão.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
20 E Menaém tirou este dinheiro de Israel, de todos os poderosos e ricos, para dá-lo ao rei da Assíria, de cada homem cinqüenta siclos de prata; assim voltou o rei da Assíria, e não ficou ali na terra.
21 Concerning the rest of the actes of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
21 Ora, o mais dos atos de Menaém, e tudo quanto fez, porventura não está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
22 E Menaém dormiu com seus pais; e Pecaías, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
23 No ano cinqüenta de Azarias, rei de Judá, começou a reinar Pecaías, filho de Menaém, sobre Israel, em Samaria, e reinou dois anos.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
24 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor; nunca se apartou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com que fez pecar a Israel.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
25 E Peca, filho de Remalias, seu capitão, conspirou contra ele, e o feriu em Samaria, no paço da casa do rei, juntamente com Argobe e com Arié, e com ele cinqüenta homens dos filhos dos gileaditas; e o matou, e reinou em seu lugar.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
26 Ora, o mais dos atos de Pecaías, e tudo quanto fez, eis que está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
27 No ano cinqüenta e dois de Azarias, rei de Judá, começou a reinar Peca, filho de Remalias, sobre Israel, em Samaria, e reinou vinte anos.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
28 E fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor; nunca se apartou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com que fez pecar a Israel.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
29 Nos dias de Peca, rei de Israel, veio Tiglate-Pileser, rei da Assíria, e tomou a Ijom, a Abel-Bete-Maaca, a Janoa, e a Quedes, a Hazor, a Gileade, e a Galiléia, e a toda a terra de Naftali, e os levou à Assíria.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
30 E Oséias, filho de Elá, conspirou contra Peca, filho de Remalias, e o feriu, e o matou, e reinou em seu lugar, no vigésimo ano de Jotão, filho de Uzias.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
31 Ora, o mais dos atos de Peca, e tudo quanto fez, eis que está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
32 No ano segundo de Peca, filho de Remalias, rei de Israel, começou a reinar Jotão, filho de Uzias, rei de Judá.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
33 Tinha vinte e cinco anos de idade quando começou a reinar, e reinou dezesseis anos em Jerusalém; e era o nome de sua mãe Jerusa, filha de Zadoque.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
34 E fez o que era reto aos olhos do Senhor; fez conforme tudo quanto fizera seu pai Uzias.
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
35 Tão-somente os altos não foram tirados; porque o povo ainda sacrificava e queimava incenso nos altos. Este edificou a porta alta da casa do Senhor.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
36 Ora, o mais dos atos de Jotão, e tudo quanto fez, porventura não está escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Judá?
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
37 Naqueles dias começou o Senhor a enviar contra Judá a Rezim, rei da Síria, e a Peca, filho de Remalias.
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
38 E Jotão dormiu com seus pais, e foi sepultado junto a seus pais, na cidade de Davi, seu pai; e Acaz, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
