1 Pedro 2
Uwien ya Jɔtiefɛ̀nku ya gbɔnku (GNGNT) vs VC
1 Nɛn bo, dàan mɛn mibiɛrm kɛ ya bol nin milɛrkjim kɛ ya bol, ki la ŋmɔbe ñuɔn ilele, ki la ŋmɔbe nunfɔke, ki la lienh ki saah tɔb.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Li febnh mɛn Uwien ya gbɛr bo tɛn kicɛnfɛndk febnh ma libiil bo. Uwien ya gbɛr te tɛn mibiim mà mɔn nɛ, kí li cère ní kpére kí lɛ limiɛl Uwien saan,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 kimɛ ni laa' Yonbdaan ŋmɔbe tinimɔ̀nt ma bo.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Nɛkn mɛn Yonbdaan saan. U te tɛn litɛnl là fuobe nɛ. Binib wiɛ' lɛ̀, nɛ Uwien gɛ̀nde' lɛ̀, lì yé uʼbo nibonmɔ̀nn.
4 — ausente —
5 Niʼmɔ te tɛn itɛn yà fuobe nɛ. Nɛn bo, cère mɛn Uwien ń taa nɛ kí mɛ *Mifuoñaanm ya duku. Ní li yé licɛkl là Uwien gɛ̀nde' lɛ̀ ki tien' bitɔtuɔrkaab, kí li teh ituɔrɛ ki dienh wɔ tɛn *Mifuoñaanm ye ma bo, nɛ *Yesu Kristo bo, u li tuo ituɔrɛ nnɔ.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Kimɛ nì kɛle' *Uwien ya gbɔnku ni ki ye:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Ninbi bà teke' ki jin' nnɔ,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 ki yé litɛnl là binib li lɛkeh liʼbo,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ama ninbi yé libol là Uwien gɛ̀nde' lɛ̀ nɛ,
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Uyo uba na là yé Uwien ya nib,
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nʼjɔtiebɛ, ni yé bicɛnb nɛ kitink kiɛ bo ki gɛ̀breh. Nɛn bo nɛ n sureh nɛ ní li coh niʼba unisaal ya yɛnm pɛ tibont tà bo, tù piendeh wɔ u la tien' Uwien yíe nà nnɔ bo.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ní li ŋmɔbe mitetemɔnmɔnm bà ŋa pɛ Wien bo ya nun bó, ŋɔ nì yé bi lienh ki saah nɛ isɛn iba ni ki teh ni teh nà bre mɔnɔn la, bɛ ń lɛ niʼtùonmɔnmɔn kí pɛ̀ke Uwien u li baa lidaali là.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Yonbdaan bo, ní li blinh niʼyul udu ya ciɛnb kɛ ciɛnb ya nun bó. Bɛn si: ubɛrciɛn, wɔn nɛ ŋmɔbe ticiɛnt uʼdu ya nib kɛ bo,
13 — ausente —
14 nin u kàan' binib bà idu ni bɛ ń li likeh yì, kí li diɛh bà teh ibiɛre ya tub, kí li pɛ̀keh bà teh nà mɔn nnɔ.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Uwien yíe nà si: ní li teh nà mɔn, ŋɔ nɛn bo, bà yé ijɔr, ka bɛn niba nnɔ la fre kí yàare ñɔbu.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Li yé mɛn binib bà si biʼba. Ni la dule nɛn bo kí li teh nà bre. Ama ní li fuobe nì kpɛ Uwien ya tonsɔnb ń li fuobe ma bo.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Li dienh mɛn unil kɛ lisel, kí li yíe niʼtɔb bà teke' Kristo ki jin', kí li boh Uwien, kí li dienh ubɛrciɛn lisel.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Bitonsɔnbɛ, ní li blinh niʼyul niʼcɛnbaambɛ ya nun bó, kí tùɔre kí li fɛnge bɛ. Na yé ní li teh nnɔ cɛnbaambɛ bà yé binimɔ̀nb, ki dinge baba nɛ, ní li teh nnɔ bà mɔ ya gbɛr faa.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Kimɛ unil ŋa bii' niba ŋɔ bi jɛ̀ndeh wɔ, u jin' kuminku Uwien bo, ki tuo' ijɛnd nnɔ la, nì yé nibonn nà mɔn nɛ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ni tien' nà bre ŋɔ bi jɛ̀ndeh nɛ, ni tuo' ijɛnd nnɔ la, ni ŋmɔbe ku lɛ pɛnpɛku-u? Ama ni tien' nà mɔn ŋɔ bi jɛ̀ndeh nɛ ni mìnde' ki tuo' ijɛnd nnɔ la, nɛn nɛ yé nà mɔn Uwien ya nun bó,
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 kimɛ Uwien yin' nɛ ní sɔn nà nínɔ. Kristo mɔ jɛ̀nde' niʼbo nnɔ nɛ. U tien' nnɔ ŋɔ niʼmɔ ń tɛkn uʼtaal ni nɛ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Wɔn ŋa tien' biɛre, tonnɛnku mɔ ŋa ñɛn' uʼñɔbu ni fiebu.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Bi suke' wɔ, wa jiin', ki jɛ̀nde' wɔ, wa taa' jɛr, ama u taa' uʼba ki ŋukn' wà buh tibuur tuʼdonbó ya nuɔ ni nɛ.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Wɔn bugbɛn nɛ taa' uʼtiɛma gbɛnɛnt ki teke' tiʼbiɛre udɔpɔnpɔn bo, ŋɔ ibiɛre ji la ŋmɔbe tiʼbo tuɔm, ŋɔ tí lɛ mifuobm mà cuube. U ya jɛnd ya gbìɛn nɛ cère' ni laa' laanfiɛ.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Imɔ̀n, ni là te tɛn ipe yà cuon' ki yebre' nɛ, ama fɛnfɛnnɔ ni liɛbe' ní wà kpaah nɛ, ki gu nɛ nnɔ saan.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
