Garth's Hyper-literal Translation (GHT) vs NVT
1 Behold what-manner love the Father has-given to{us} in-which-place we-may-be-called offsprings of{God}; also, we-are-being. Through the-same the world is_not_knowing us, that it-does_not_know same.
1 Vejam como é grande o amor do Pai por nós, pois ele nos chama de filhos, o que de fato somos! Mas quem pertence a este mundo não reconhece que somos filhos de Deus, porque não o conhece.
2 Beloved, now we-are-being offsprings of{God}, and not-yet it-is-revealed what we-will-be. Moreover, we-have-beheld that if-supposing it-may-be-revealed, we-will-be similar to{same}, that we-will-see same according-as he-is-being,
2 Amados, já somos filhos de Deus, mas ele ainda não nos mostrou o que seremos quando Cristo vier. Sabemos, porém, que seremos semelhantes a ele, pois o veremos como ele realmente é.
3 and every, the having the expectation, the-same, upon to{same}, is-purifying sameself according-as the-there is-being pure/innocent.
3 E todos que têm essa esperança se manterão puros, como ele é puro.
4 Every, the doing the sin, also is-doing the lawless-ia, and the sin is-being the lawless-ia,
4 Quem vive no pecado transgride a lei, pois todo pecado é contrário à lei.
5 and you-have-beheld that the-there is-revealed in-which-place he-may-lift the sins of{us}, and sin is_not_being in to{same}.
5 E vocês sabem que ele veio para tirar nossos pecados, e nele não há pecado.
6 Every, the remaining in to{same}, is_not_sinning; every, the sinning, has_not_seen same nor has-known same.
6 Quem permanece nele não continua a pecar. Mas quem continua a pecar não o conhece e não entende quem ele é.
7 Offspring-lings, no-one: be-leading-astray you. The doing the justice-ness is-being just, according-as the-there is-being just.
7 Filhinhos, não deixem que ninguém os engane a este respeito: quando uma pessoa faz o que é justo, mostra que é justa, como ele é justo.
8 The doing the sin is-being out of{the devil/slanderous}, that from of{origin} the devil/slanderous is-sinning. Into the-same, the Son of{the God} is-revealed in-which-place he-may-loose the works of{the devil/slanderous}.
8 Mas, quando continua a pecar, mostra que pertence ao diabo, pois o diabo peca desde o início. Por isso o Filho de Deus veio, para destruir as obras do diabo.
9 Every, the having-been-begotten out of{the God} is_not_doing sin, that sow-effect of{same} is-remaining in to{same} and is_not_being-enabled/empowered to-be-sinning, that out of{the God} he-has-been-begotten.
9 Aquele que é nascido de Deus não vive no pecado, pois a vida de Deus está nele. Logo, não pode continuar a pecar, pois é nascido de Deus.
10 In to{the-same} is-being the revealed[adjective] offsprings of{the God} and the offsprings of{the devil/slanderous}. Every, the not doing justice-ness, is_not_being out of{the God}, and the not loving the brother of{same},
10 Assim, podemos identificar quem é filho de Deus e quem é filho do diabo. Quem não pratica a justiça e não ama seus irmãos não pertence a Deus.
11 that the-same is-being the message-ia which you-hear from of{origin}, in-which-place we-may-be-loving one-another,
11 Esta é a mensagem que vocês ouviram desde o princípio: que amemos uns aos outros.
12 not according-as Cain has-been-being out of{the evil} and slaughters the brother of{same}, also in-favor-of of{whom/which} he-slaughters same, that the works of{same} has-been-being evil; moreover, the[plural] of{the brother} of{same} just.
12 Não sejamos como Caim, que pertencia ao maligno e assassinou seu irmão. E por que o assassinou? Porque Caim praticava o mal, e seu irmão praticava a justiça.
13 Do_not_be-marveling, brothers, if the world is-hating you.
13 Portanto, meus irmãos, não se surpreendam se o mundo os odiar.
14 We have-beheld that we-have-stepped-across/changed-course out of{the death} into the being-alive[noun], that we-are-loving the brothers. The not loving the brother of{same} is-remaining in to{the death}.
14 Se amamos nossos irmãos, significa que passamos da morte para a vida. Mas quem não ama continua morto.
15 Every, the hating the brother of{same} is-being homicidal, and you-have-beheld that every homicidal is_not_having eternal being-alive[noun] remaining in to{sameself}.
15 Quem odeia seu irmão já é assassino. E vocês sabem que nenhum assassino tem dentro de si a vida eterna.
16 In to{the-same} we-have-known the love, that the-there places the life of{same} over/for-the-sake of{us}, and we are-owing to-place the lives over/for-the-sake of{the brothers}.
16 Sabemos o que é o amor porque Jesus deu sua vida por nós. Portanto, também devemos dar nossa vida por nossos irmãos.
17 Moreover, who supposing may-be-having the livelihood/lifestyle of{the world} and may-be-observing the brother of{same} having need and may-close the inward-affect-ions[i.e. compassionate feelings] of{same} from of{same}, how[?] the love of{the God} is-remaining in to{same}[?]
17 Se alguém tem recursos suficientes para viver bem e vê um irmão em necessidade, mas não mostra compaixão, como pode estar nele o amor de Deus?
18 Offspring-lings, we-should_not_be-loving to{word} nor to{tongue}; contrariwise, to{work} and to{truth},
18 Filhinhos, não nos limitemos a dizer que amamos uns aos outros; demonstremos a verdade por meio de nossas ações.
19 and in to{the-same} we-will-know/be-known that we-are-being out of{the truth}, and in-front of{same} we-will-persuade the hearts of{us},
19 Com isso saberemos que pertencemos à verdade, e nos tranquilizaremos quando estivermos diante de Deus.
20 that if-supposing the heart may-be-knowing-down/against of{us}, that the God is-being greater-than of{the heart} of{us} and is-knowing all.
20 E, ainda que a consciência nos condene, Deus é maior que nossa consciência e sabe todas as coisas.
21 Beloved, if-supposing the heart of{us} may_not_be-knowing-down/against of{us}, we-are-having all-say-ia toward the God,
21 Amados, se a consciência não nos condena, podemos ir a Deus com total confiança
22 and what if-supposing we-may-be-giving-cause/requesting we-are-taking from of{same}, that we-are-keeping the commands of{same} and we-are-doing the[plural] pleasing[adjective] in-sight of{same},
22 e dele receberemos tudo que pedirmos, pois lhe obedecemos e fazemos o que lhe agrada.
23 and same is-being the command of{same} in-which-place we-may-be-believing/entrusting to{the name} of{the Son of{same}, Jesus Anointed} and we-may-be-loving one-another according-as he-gives command to{us},
23 E este é seu mandamento: que creiamos no nome de seu Filho, Jesus Cristo, e amemos uns aos outros, conforme ele nos ordenou.
24 and the keeping the commands of{same} is-remaining in to{same} and same in to{same}, and in to{the-same[neuter]} we-are-knowing that he-is-remaining in to{us} out of{the Spirit} of{whom} he-gives to{us}.
24 Aqueles que obedecem a seus mandamentos permanecem nele, e ele permanece neles. E sabemos que ele permanece em nós porque o Espírito que ele nos deu permanece em nós.
