1 O que era desde o princípio, o que temos ouvido, o que temos visto com os nossos olhos, o que temos contemplado e as nossas mãos têm apalpado no tocante ao Verbo da vida -
2 and the being-alive[noun] is-revealed, and we-have-seen and are-witnessing and are-messaging-off/away to{you} the being-alive[noun], the eternal, which-what has-been-being toward the Father and is-revealed to{us}.
2 porque a vida se manifestou, e nós a temos visto; damos testemunho e vos anunciamos a vida eterna, que estava no Pai e que se nos manifestou -,
3 What we-have-seen and have-heard we-are-messaging-off/away to{you} in-which-place also you may-be-having common-ia/association/participation/partnership alongside of{us}; moreover, also the common-ia/association/participation/partnership, the our, alongside of{the Father} and alongside of{the Son of{same}, Jesus Anointed},
3 o que vimos e ouvimos nós vos anunciamos, para que também vós tenhais comunhão conosco. Ora, a nossa comunhão é com o Pai e com o seu Filho Jesus Cristo.

4 Escrevemo-vos estas coisas para que a vossa alegria seja completa.

5 A nova que dele temos ouvido e vos anunciamos é esta: Deus é luz e nele não há treva alguma.
6 If-supposing we-may-say that we-are-having common-ia/association/participation/partnership alongside of{same} and we-may-be-walking-around in to{the darkness}, we-are-falsifying/being-falsified and we-are_not_doing the truth.
6 Se dizemos ter comunhão com ele, mas andamos nas trevas, mentimos e não seguimos a verdade.
7 Moreover, if-supposing we-may-be-walking-around in to{the light} as same is-being in to{the light}, we-are-having common-ia/association/participation/partnership alongside of{one-another} and the blood of{Jesus Anointed, the Son} of{same}, is-purging/cleansing us from of{every sin}.
7 Se, porém, andamos na luz como ele mesmo está na luz, temos comunhão recíproca uns com os outros, e o sangue de Jesus Cristo, seu Filho, nos purifica de todo pecado.
8 If-supposing we-may-say that we-are_not_having sin, we-are-leading-astray sameselves and the truth is_not_being in to{us}.
8 Se dizemos que não temos pecado, enganamo-nos a nós mesmos, e a verdade não está em nós.
9 If-supposing we-may-be-same-word-ing/acknowledging the sins of{us}, he-is-being faithful and just in-which-place he-would-let-off/away to{us} the sins and would-purge/cleanse us from of{every injustice}.
9 Se reconhecemos os nossos pecados, {Deus aí está} fiel e justo para nos perdoar os pecados e para nos purificar de toda iniqüidade.
