1 Let the love of the brethren continue in you;
1 Continuem a amar uns aos outros como irmãos em Cristo.
2 and kindness to strangers forget not; for in this some who were made worthy, while not perceiving it, have received angels.
2 Não deixem de receber bem aqueles que vêm à casa de vocês; pois alguns que foram hospitaleiros receberam anjos, sem saber.
3 Remember those who are bound, as if with them ye were bound: be mindful of those who are afflicted, as men (should) who are clothed with flesh.
3 Lembrem dos presos, como se vocês estivessem na cadeia com eles. Lembrem dos que sofrem, como se vocês estivessem sofrendo com eles.
4 Honourable is marriage among all, and their bed is undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers Aloha judgeth.
4 Que o casamento seja respeitado por todos, e que os maridos e as esposas sejam fiéis um ao outro. Deus julgará os imorais e os que cometem adultério.
5 Let not your mind love money; but let whatever ye have suffice you: for the Lord hath said, I will not abandon thee, nor withhold from thee support .
5 Não se deixem dominar pelo amor ao dinheiro e fiquem satisfeitos com o que vocês têm, pois Deus disse: “Eu nunca os deixarei e jamais os abandonarei.”
6 And it is ours to say confidently, My Lord is my helper, I will not fear: what a man do to me?
6 Portanto, sejamos corajosos e afirmemos: “O Senhor é quem me ajuda, e eu não tenho medo. Que mal pode alguém me fazer?”
7 Remember your leaders; those who have spoken to you the word of Aloha: reflect on the consummation of their course, and imitate their faith.
7 Lembrem dos seus primeiros líderes espirituais, que anunciaram a mensagem de Deus a vocês. Pensem como eles viveram e morreram e imitem a fé que eles tinham.
8 Jeshu Meshiha is yesterday, and to-day, and for ever.
8 Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.
9 Unto strange and variable doctrines be not led away; for it is good that with grace we confirm our hearts, and not by meats, because they have not been helped who have walked in them.
9 Não se deixem levar por ensinamentos diferentes e estranhos que tiram vocês do caminho certo. É bom sermos espiritualmente fortes por meio da graça de Deus e não por meio da obediência a regras sobre alimentos. Pois os que obedecem a essas regras não têm sido ajudados por elas.
10 But we have an altar of which it is not lawful for them to eat who minister in the tabernacle.
10 Os sacerdotes que servem no Templo não têm o direito de comer do sacrifício que é oferecido sobre o nosso altar.
11 For those animals, whose blood the high priest took into the sanctuary for sins, had their flesh burned without the camp.
11 O Grande Sacerdote leva o sangue de animais para dentro do Lugar Santíssimo a fim de oferecê-lo como sacrifício pelos pecados. Mas os corpos dos animais são queimados fora do acampamento.
12 On this account Jeshu, that he might sanctify his people by his blood, without the city suffered.
12 Por isso Jesus também morreu fora da cidade de Jerusalém para, com o seu próprio sangue, purificar o povo dos seus pecados.
13 Therefore let us also go forth unto him without the camp, being, clothed with his ignominy.
13 Portanto, vamos para perto de Jesus, fora do acampamento, e soframos a mesma desonra que ele sofreu.
14 For we have no city which is permanent here; but one that is to come we are expecting.
14 Porque neste mundo não temos nenhuma cidade que dure para sempre; pelo contrário, procuramos a cidade que virá depois.
15 By him, therefore, let us offer up at all time unto Aloha the sacrifices of praise, which are the fruits of the lips which give thanks to his name.
15 Por isso, por meio de Jesus Cristo, ofereçamos sempre louvor a Deus. Esse louvor é o sacrifício que apresentamos, a oferta que é dada por lábios que confessam a sua fé nele.
16 And forget not compassion and communication to the poor: for with these sacrifices a man pleaseth Aloha.
16 Não deixem de fazer o bem e de ajudar uns aos outros, pois são esses os sacrifícios que agradam a Deus.
17 Be persuaded by your leaders, and obey them; for they watch for your souls as men who must render an account of you, that with joy they may do this, and not with groans; for that is not profitable for you.
17 Obedeçam aos seus líderes e sigam as suas ordens, pois eles cuidam sempre das necessidades espirituais de vocês porque sabem que vão prestar contas disso a Deus. Se vocês obedecerem, eles farão o trabalho com alegria; mas, se vocês não obedecerem, eles trabalharão com tristeza, e isso não ajudará vocês em nada.
18 Pray for us; for we are confident we have a good conscience, that in all things we desire to act aright.
18 Continuem a orar por nós. Temos certeza de que a nossa consciência está limpa, pois sempre queremos fazer o que é correto.
19 And more especially I ask from you to do this, that I may be turned to you quickly.
19 E peço a vocês, de modo todo especial, que orem para que Deus me mande de volta a vocês o mais depressa possível.
20 But the God of peace, who brought up from the house of the dead the great Shepherd of the flock, by the blood of the eternal covenant, who is Jeshu Meshiha, our Lord,
20 — ausente —
21 make you perfect in every good work, that ye may do his will, and effect in you whatever is good before him, by Jeshu Meshiha: to him be glory unto the age of ages. Amen.

22 Now I request from you, my brethren, that ye prolong your minds on the word of exhortation; for in a few (words) I have written to you.
22 Meus irmãos, peço que escutem com paciência essas palavras de ânimo, pois esta carta que escrevi não é muito longa.
23 But know that our brother Timotheos is released; and if he come soon, with him I will see you.
23 Quero que saibam que o nosso irmão Timóteo já saiu da cadeia. Se ele vier logo, eu o levarei comigo quando for ver vocês.
24 Ask for the peace of all your leaders, and of all the saints: they of Italia ask for your peace.
24 Saudações a todos os líderes da igreja daí e a todo o povo de Deus. Os irmãos da Itália também mandam saudações a vocês.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
25 Que a graça de Deus esteja com todos vocês!
