1 Let the love of the brethren continue in you;
1 Seja constante o amor fraternal.
2 and kindness to strangers forget not; for in this some who were made worthy, while not perceiving it, have received angels.
2 Não se esqueçam da hospitalidade, pois alguns, praticando-a, sem o saber acolheram anjos.
3 Remember those who are bound, as if with them ye were bound: be mindful of those who are afflicted, as men (should) who are clothed with flesh.
3 Lembrem-se dos presos, como se estivessem na cadeia com eles; dos que sofrem maus-tratos, como se vocês mesmos fossem os maltratados.
4 Honourable is marriage among all, and their bed is undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers Aloha judgeth.
4 Digno de honra entre todos seja o matrimônio, bem como o leito conjugal sem mácula; porque Deus julgará os impuros e os adúlteros.
5 Let not your mind love money; but let whatever ye have suffice you: for the Lord hath said, I will not abandon thee, nor withhold from thee support .
5 Que a vida de vocês seja isenta de avareza. Contentem-se com as coisas que vocês têm, porque Deus disse: “De maneira alguma deixarei você, nunca jamais o abandonarei.”
6 And it is ours to say confidently, My Lord is my helper, I will not fear: what a man do to me?
6 Assim, afirmemos confiantemente: “O Senhor é o meu auxílio, não temerei. O que é que alguém pode me fazer?”
7 Remember your leaders; those who have spoken to you the word of Aloha: reflect on the consummation of their course, and imitate their faith.
7 Lembrem-se dos seus líderes, os quais pregaram a palavra de Deus a vocês; e, considerando atentamente o fim da vida deles, imitem a fé que tiveram.
8 Jeshu Meshiha is yesterday, and to-day, and for ever.
8 Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje e para sempre.
9 Unto strange and variable doctrines be not led away; for it is good that with grace we confirm our hearts, and not by meats, because they have not been helped who have walked in them.
9 Não se deixem levar por doutrinas diferentes e estranhas, porque o que vale é ter o coração confirmado com graça e não com alimentos, que nunca trouxeram proveito aos que se preocupam com isso.
10 But we have an altar of which it is not lawful for them to eat who minister in the tabernacle.
10 Temos um altar do qual os que ministram no tabernáculo não têm o direito de comer.
11 For those animals, whose blood the high priest took into the sanctuary for sins, had their flesh burned without the camp.
11 Pois aqueles animais cujo sangue é trazido pelo sumo sacerdote para dentro do Santo dos Santos, como sacrifício pelo pecado, têm o corpo queimado fora do acampamento.
12 On this account Jeshu, that he might sanctify his people by his blood, without the city suffered.
12 Por isso, também Jesus, para santificar o povo, pelo seu próprio sangue, sofreu fora da cidade.
13 Therefore let us also go forth unto him without the camp, being, clothed with his ignominy.
13 Saiamos, pois, a ele, fora do acampamento, levando a mesma desonra que ele suportou.
14 For we have no city which is permanent here; but one that is to come we are expecting.
14 De fato, não temos aqui cidade permanente, mas buscamos a que há de vir.
15 By him, therefore, let us offer up at all time unto Aloha the sacrifices of praise, which are the fruits of the lips which give thanks to his name.
15 Por meio de Jesus, pois, ofereçamos a Deus, sempre, sacrifício de louvor, que é o fruto de lábios que confessam o seu nome.
16 And forget not compassion and communication to the poor: for with these sacrifices a man pleaseth Aloha.
16 Não se esqueçam da prática do bem e da mútua cooperação, pois de tais sacrifícios Deus se agrada.
17 Be persuaded by your leaders, and obey them; for they watch for your souls as men who must render an account of you, that with joy they may do this, and not with groans; for that is not profitable for you.
17 Obedeçam aos seus líderes e sejam submissos a eles, pois zelam pela alma de vocês, como quem deve prestar contas. Que eles possam fazer isto com alegria e não gemendo; do contrário, isso não trará proveito nenhum para vocês.
18 Pray for us; for we are confident we have a good conscience, that in all things we desire to act aright.
18 Orem por nós, pois estamos certos de que temos a consciência limpa, querendo em todas as circunstâncias fazer o que é correto.
19 And more especially I ask from you to do this, that I may be turned to you quickly.
19 Peço, com insistência, que vocês façam isto, para que eu lhes seja restituído o mais depressa possível.
20 But the God of peace, who brought up from the house of the dead the great Shepherd of the flock, by the blood of the eternal covenant, who is Jeshu Meshiha, our Lord,
20 Ora, o Deus da paz, que tornou a trazer dentre os mortos o nosso Senhor Jesus, o grande Pastor das ovelhas, pelo sangue da eterna aliança,
21 make you perfect in every good work, that ye may do his will, and effect in you whatever is good before him, by Jeshu Meshiha: to him be glory unto the age of ages. Amen.
21 aperfeiçoe vocês em todo o bem, para que possam fazer a vontade dele. Que ele opere em nós o que é agradável diante dele, por meio de Jesus Cristo, a quem seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém!
22 Now I request from you, my brethren, that ye prolong your minds on the word of exhortation; for in a few (words) I have written to you.
22 Irmãos, peço que escutem com paciência esta palavra de exortação, porque, na verdade, escrevi de forma bem resumida.
23 But know that our brother Timotheos is released; and if he come soon, with him I will see you.
23 Saibam que o irmão Timóteo foi posto em liberdade. Se ele vier logo, irei vê-los na companhia dele.
24 Ask for the peace of all your leaders, and of all the saints: they of Italia ask for your peace.
24 Saúdem todos os seus líderes, bem como todos os santos. Os da Itália mandam saudações.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
25 A graça esteja com todos vocês.
