Efésios 6

1 Children, obey your parents in our Lord, for this is right; and this is the first commandment which promiseth.
1 Filhos, obedeçam a seus pais no Senhor, porque isso é o certo a fazer.
2 Honour thy father and thy mother,
2 “Honre seu pai e sua mãe.” Esse é o primeiro mandamento com promessa.
3 that it may be well with thee, and thy life be prolonged upon the earth.
3 Se honrar pai e mãe, “tudo lhe irá bem e terá vida longa na terra”.
4 Parents, make not your children angry, but make them to grow in the discipline and in the doctrine of our Lord.
4 Pais, não tratem seus filhos de modo a irritá-los; antes, eduquem-nos com a disciplina e a instrução que vêm do Senhor.
5 Servants, be subject to your masters who are according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, and with simplicity of heart, as unto the Meshiha:
5 Escravos, obedeçam a seus senhores terrenos com respeito e temor. Sirvam com sinceridade, como serviriam a Cristo.
6 not in the sight of the eyes, as if you were pleasing men (only), but as the servants of Meshiha who do the will of Aloha.
6 Procurem agradá-los sempre, e não apenas quando eles estiverem observando. Como escravos de Cristo, façam a vontade de Deus de todo o coração.
7 And serve them from all your soul, in love, as unto our Lord, and not as unto men;
7 Trabalhem com entusiasmo, como se servissem ao Senhor, e não a homens.
8 knowing that whatever good a man doeth he is rewarded by our Lord, whether he be a servant or a son of freedom.
8 Lembrem-se de que o Senhor recompensará cada um de nós pelo bem que fizermos, quer sejamos escravos, quer livres.
9 So you, masters, do likewise to your servants; forgiving them a fault; for you know also that your Master is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.
9 Senhores, assim também tratem seus escravos. Não os ameacem; lembrem-se de que vocês e eles têm o mesmo Senhor no céu, e ele não age com favoritismo.
10 HENCEFORTH, my brethren, be strong in our Lord, and in the power of his strength.
10 Uma palavra final: Sejam fortes no Senhor e em seu grande poder.
11 And clothe you in all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the accuser.
11 Vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para que possam permanecer firmes contra as estratégias do diabo.
12 For your wrestling is not with flesh and blood (only), but with princes, and with powers, and with the possessors of this dark world, and with the evil spirits who are under heaven.
12 Pois nós não lutamos contra inimigos de carne e sangue, mas contra governantes e autoridades do mundo invisível, contra grandes poderes neste mundo de trevas e contra espíritos malignos nas esferas celestiais.
13 Wherefore clothe you with all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared in every thing you may stand.
13 Portanto, vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para que possam resistir ao inimigo no tempo do mal. Então, depois da batalha, vocês continuarão de pé e firmes.
14 Stand, therefore, with your loins strengthened with the truth, and wear the breastplate of righteousness,
14 Assim, mantenham sua posição, colocando o cinto da verdade e a couraça da justiça.
15 and let your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
15 Como calçados, usem a paz das boas-novas, para que estejam inteiramente preparados.
16 and with these take to you the shield of faith, that therewith you may be empowered with strength to extinguish all the burning shafts of that evil one;
16 Em todas as situações, levantem o escudo da fé, para deter as flechas de fogo do maligno.
17 and put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit which is the word of Aloha.
17 Usem a salvação como capacete e empunhem a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.
18 And with all prayers, and with all supplications, pray at all times in the Spirit, and in that prayer be watchful in all seasons,
18 Orem no Espírito em todos os momentos e ocasiões. Permaneçam atentos e sejam persistentes em suas orações por todo o povo santo.
19 praying constantly and invoking on behalf of all the saints; and for me also, that the word may be given me with openness of my mouth, that I may boldly proclaim the mystery of the gospel,
19 E orem também por mim. Peçam que Deus me conceda as palavras certas, para que eu possa explicar corajosamente o segredo revelado pelas boas-novas.
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may speak with freedom, as it behoveth me to speak it.
20 Agora estou preso em correntes, mas continuo a anunciar essa mensagem como embaixador de Deus. Portanto, orem para que eu siga falando corajosamente em nome dele, como é meu dever.
21 But that you may know also what relateth to me, and what I am doing, behold, Tykikos, a brother beloved, and a faithful minister of our Lord, will make known to you;
21 Tíquico lhes dará um relatório completo do que tenho feito e de como tenho passado. Ele é um irmão amado e um colaborador fiel na obra do Senhor.
22 whom I have sent to you on account of this, that he may make you acquainted with what relateth to me, and may comfort your hearts.
22 Eu o enviei a vocês com esse propósito, para que saibam como estamos e para animá-los.
23 Peace be with the brethren, and love with faith from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
23 A paz seja com vocês, irmãos, e que Deus, o Pai, e o Senhor Jesus Cristo lhes deem amor e fidelidade.
24 Grace be with all them who love our Lord Jeshu Meshiha incorruptibly. Amen.
24 Que a graça de Deus esteja eternamente sobre todos que amam nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
