Efésios 3

1 On account of this I, Paulos, am bound for Jeshu Meshiha for the sake of you Gentiles:
1 Por essa causa é que eu, Paulo, prisioneiro de Jesus Cristo por amor de vós, gentios... -
2 if you have heard the dispensation of the grace of Aloha which was given me for you;
2 Vós deveis ter aprendido o modo como Deus me concedeu esta graça que me foi feita a vosso respeito.
3 that by revelation he made known to me the mystery, as I have written to you in few (words);
3 Foi por revelação que me foi manifestado o mistério que acabo de esboçar.
4 so that while you read you are able to understand my knowledge of the mystery of the Meshiha,
4 Lendo-me, podereis entender a compreensão que me foi concedida do mistério cristão,
5 which in other generations was not known to the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed to his holy apostles and to his prophets by the Spirit;
5 que em outras gerações não foi manifestado aos homens da maneira como agora tem sido revelado pelo Espírito aos seus santos apóstolos e profetas.
6 that the Gentiles should be sons of his inheritance and partakers of his body, and in the promise which is given concerning him by the gospel,
6 A saber: que os gentios são co-herdeiros conosco {que somos judeus}, são membros do mesmo corpo e participantes da promessa em Jesus Cristo pelo Evangelho.
7 of which I am made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of Aloha, which he hath given me by the operation of his power.
7 Eu me tornei servo deste Evangelho em virtude da graça que me foi dada pela onipotente ação divina.
8 To me, who am the least of all the saints, is given this grace, that I should preach among the Gentiles the riches of the Meshiha,
8 A mim, o mais insignificante dentre todos os santos, coube-me a graça de anunciar entre os pagãos a inexplorável riqueza de Cristo,
9 which are not searched; and to bring to light unto all men what is the dispensation of the mystery which was hidden from the ages in Aloha, who created all:
9 e a todos manifestar o desígnio salvador de Deus, mistério oculto desde a eternidade em Deus, que tudo criou.
10 that through the church might be made known the wisdom of Aloha, which is full of diversities, to the principalities and powers who are in heaven,
10 Assim, de ora em diante, as dominações e as potestades celestes podem conhecer, pela Igreja, a infinita diversidade da sabedoria divina,
11 that which he prepared from of old, and which he hath executed by Jeshu our Lord,
11 de acordo com o desígnio eterno que Deus realizou em Jesus Cristo, nosso Senhor.
12 by whom we have freedom and access with the confidence of the faith of him.
12 Pela fé que nele depositamos, temos plena confiança de aproximar-nos junto de Deus.
13 WHEREFORE I pray that I may not weary in my affliction, which is on your account,
13 Por isso vos rogo que não desfaleçais nas minhas tribulações que sofro por vós: elas são a vossa glória.
14 for this is your glory; and I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
14 Por esta causa dobro os joelhos em presença do Pai,
15 from whom is named the whole family who are in heaven and in earth;
15 ao qual deve a sua existência toda família no céu e na terra,
16 that he would give to you, according to the riches of his glory, with power to be confirmed by his Spirit in your interior man;
16 para que vos conceda, segundo seu glorioso tesouro, que sejais poderosamente robustecidos pelo seu Espírito em vista do crescimento do vosso homem interior.
17 that the Meshiha may dwell by faith in your hearts in love; your root and your foundations being confirmed,
17 Que Cristo habite pela fé em vossos corações, arraigados e consolidados na caridade,
18 that you may be able to follow out with all the saints, what the height, and depth, and the length, and breadth;
18 a fim de que possais, com todos os cristãos, compreender qual seja a largura, o comprimento, a altura e a profundidade,
19 and know the grandeur of the love of the Meshiha, and be filled with all the fulness of Aloha.
19 isto é, conhecer a caridade de Cristo, que desafia todo o conhecimento, e sejais cheios de toda a plenitude de Deus.
20 But to Him who is able with power beyond all to do for us above what we ask or conceive, according to his power which worketh in us,
20 Àquele que, pela virtude que opera em nós, pode fazer infinitamente mais do que tudo quanto pedimos ou entendemos,
21 to Him be glory in his church, by Jeshu Meshiha, in all ages, for ever and ever. Amen.
21 a ele seja dada glória na Igreja, e em Cristo Jesus, por todas as gerações de eternidade. Amém.
