1 Therefore now nothing of condem-nation is to them that be in Christ Jesus, which wander not after the flesh. (And so now there is no condemnation for those who be in the Messiah Jesus, who do not walk, or go, according to the flesh.)
1 Agora, portanto, já não há nenhuma condenação para os que estão em Cristo Jesus.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath delivered me from the law of sin, and of death [or and death]. (For the law of the Spirit of life in the Messiah Jesus hath delivered me from the law of sin, and of death.)
2 Pois em Cristo Jesus a lei do Espírito que dá vida os libertou da lei do pecado, que leva à morte.
3 For that that was impossible to the law, in what thing it was sick by (the) flesh, (or For that which was impossible for the Law, because the flesh was frail or weak), God sent his Son into the likeness of (the) flesh of sin, and of sin condemned sin in (the) flesh;
3 A lei não era capaz de nos salvar por causa da fraqueza de nossa natureza humana, por isso Deus fez o que a lei era incapaz de fazer ao enviar seu Filho na semelhança de nossa natureza humana pecaminosa e apresentá-lo como sacrifício por nosso pecado. Com isso, declarou o fim do domínio do pecado sobre nós,
4 (so) that the justifying of the law were fulfilled in us, (so) that [we] go not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
4 de modo que nós, que agora não seguimos mais nossa natureza humana, mas sim o Espírito, possamos cumprir as justas exigências da lei.
5 For they that be after the flesh, understand [or savour] those things that be of the flesh; but they that be after the Spirit, feel (or experience) those things that be of the Spirit.
5 Aqueles que são dominados pela natureza humana pensam em coisas da natureza humana, mas os que são controlados pelo Espírito pensam em coisas que agradam o Espírito.
6 For the prudence (or the wisdom) of (the) flesh is death; but the prudence (or the wisdom) of (the) Spirit is life and peace.
6 Portanto, permitir que a natureza humana controle a mente resulta em morte, mas permitir que o Espírito controle a mente resulta em vida e paz.
7 For the wisdom of the flesh is enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither it may [be subject to the law], (or nor could it \+em be subject to the law\+em*).
7 Pois a mentalidade da natureza humana é sempre inimiga de Deus. Nunca obedeceu às leis de Deus, e nunca obedecerá.
8 And they that be in (the) flesh, may not please to God. (And those who be in the flesh, cannot please God.)
8 Por isso aqueles que ainda estão sob o domínio de sua natureza humana não podem agradar a Deus.
9 But ye be not in (the) flesh, but in (the) Spirit; if nevertheless the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, this is not his.
9 Vocês, porém, não são controlados pela natureza humana, mas pelo Espírito, se de fato o Espírito de Deus habita em vocês. E, se alguém não tem o Espírito de Cristo, a ele não pertence.
10 For if Christ is in you, the body is dead for sin [or the body is dead from sin], but the Spirit liveth for justifying. (For if the Messiah is in you, then though the body shall die because of sin, the Spirit shall give life to you, because you have been justified.)
10 Uma vez que Cristo habita em vocês, embora o corpo morra por causa do pecado, o Espírito lhes dá vida porque vocês foram declarados justos diante de Deus.
11 And if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus Christ from death dwelleth in you, (then) he that raised Jesus Christ from death, shall quicken also your deadly bodies, for the Spirit of him that dwelleth in you. [+For if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus Christ from \+sls (the)\+sls* dead dwelleth in you, \+sls (then)\+sls* he that raised Jesus Christ from \+sls (the)\+sls* dead, shall quicken also your deadly bodies, for the Spirit of him is dwelling in you.](And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead liveth in you, then he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, shall also enliven, or shall give life, to your mortal bodies, through the Spirit of him who liveth in you.)
11 E, se o Espírito de Deus que ressuscitou Jesus dos mortos habita em vocês, o Deus que ressuscitou Cristo Jesus dos mortos dará vida a seu corpo mortal, por meio desse mesmo Espírito que habita em vocês.
12 Therefore, brethren, we be debtors, not to the flesh, (so) that we live after (or according to) the flesh.
12 Portanto, irmãos, vocês não têm de fazer o que sua natureza humana lhes pede,
13 For if ye live after (or according to) the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye by the Spirit slay the deeds of the flesh, ye shall live.
13 porque, se viverem de acordo com as exigências dela, morrerão. Se, contudo, pelo poder do Espírito, fizerem morrer as obras do corpo, viverão,
14 For whoever be led by the Spirit of God, these be the sons of God.
14 porque todos que são guiados pelo Espírito de Deus são filhos de Deus.
15 For ye have not taken again the spirit of servage in dread, but ye have taken the Spirit of adoption of sons, that is, sons of God by grace, in which we cry, Abba, Father. (For ye have not received the spirit of servitude, or of slavery, in fear, but ye have received the Spirit of the adoption of sons, \+em that is, sons of God by grace\+em*, in which we cry, Abba, or Father.)
15 Pois vocês não receberam um espírito que os torne, de novo, escravos medrosos, mas sim o Espírito de Deus, que os adotou como seus próprios filhos. Agora nós o chamamos “ Aba , Pai”,
16 And that Spirit yieldeth witnessing (or testifieth) to our spirit, that we be the sons of God;
16 pois o seu Espírito confirma a nosso espírito que somos filhos de Deus.
17 if sons, and heirs, heirs forsooth of God, and heirs together with Christ, [or soothly heirs of God, truly even-heirs of Christ], (or truly heirs of God, and fellow heirs with the Messiah); if nevertheless we suffer together, (so) that also we be glorified together.
17 Se somos seus filhos, então somos seus herdeiros e, portanto, co-herdeiros com Cristo. Se de fato participamos de seu sofrimento, participaremos também de sua glória.
18 And I deem, that the passions of this time be not even worthy, to the glory to coming [or to the glory to come], that shall be showed in us. (And I judge, that the sufferings of this time be not worthy of any comparison, to the glory that is to come, that shall be showed to us, or which shall be given to us.)
18 Considero que nosso sofrimento de agora não é nada comparado com a glória que ele nos revelará mais tarde.
19 For the abiding of creature (or of all Creation) abideth the showing of the sons of God.
19 Pois toda a criação aguarda com grande expectativa o dia em que os filhos de Deus serão revelados.
20 But the creature is subject to vanity, not willing(ly), but for him that made it subject in hope; (But all Creation is subject to emptiness and futility, not out of free will, or of its own choice, but because of him who made it so, but also with hope;)
20 Toda a criação, não por vontade própria, foi submetida por Deus a uma existência fútil,
21 for that creature shall be delivered from servage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the sons of God. (for that Creation shall be set free from the servitude, or the slavery, of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the sons of God.)
21 na esperança de que, com os filhos de Deus, a criação seja gloriosamente liberta da decadência que a escraviza.
22 And we know, that each creature (or that all Creation) sorroweth, and travaileth with pain till yet.
22 Pois sabemos que, até agora, toda a criação geme, como em dores de parto.
23 And not only it, but also we us-selves, that have the first fruits of the Spirit, and we us-selves sorrow within us for the adoption of God’s sons, abiding the again-buying of our body (or awaiting the redemption of our body).
23 E nós, os que cremos, também gememos, embora tenhamos o Espírito em nós como antecipação da glória futura, pois aguardamos ansiosos pelo dia em que desfrutaremos nossos direitos de adoção, incluindo a redenção de nosso corpo.
24 But by hope we be made safe (or But through hope we be saved). For hope that is seen, is not hope; for who hopeth (for) that thing, that he seeth?
24 Recebemos essa esperança quando fomos salvos. (Se já temos alguma coisa, não há necessidade de esperar por ela,
25 And if we hope (for) that thing that we see not, we abide by patience.
25 mas, se esperamos por algo que ainda não temos, devemos fazê-lo com paciência e confiança.)
26 And also the Spirit helpeth our infirmity; for what we shall pray, as it behooveth, we know not, but that Spirit asketh for us with sorrowings, that may not be told out. (And the Spirit also helpeth our frailty or weakness; because we do not know what we ought to pray for, or because we do not know how we should pray, but that Spirit asketh for us with groanings, that cannot be told out.)
26 E o Espírito nos ajuda em nossa fraqueza, pois não sabemos orar segundo a vontade de Deus, mas o próprio Espírito intercede por nós com gemidos que não podem ser expressos em palavras.
27 For he that seeketh the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth, for by God, [that is, after God’s will], he asketh for (the) holy men.
27 E o Pai, que conhece cada coração, sabe quais são as intenções do Espírito, pois o Espírito intercede por nós, o povo santo, segundo a vontade de Deus.
28 And we know, that to men that love God, all things work together into good, to them that after (the) purpose be called saints (or for them who according to his purpose be called God’s people).
28 E sabemos que Deus faz todas as coisas cooperarem para o bem daqueles que o amam e que são chamados de acordo com seu propósito.
29 For those that he knew before, he before-ordained by grace to be made like to the image of his Son, (so) that he be the first begotten among many brethren.
29 Pois Deus conheceu de antemão os seus e os predestinou para se tornarem semelhantes à imagem de seu Filho, a fim de que ele fosse o primeiro entre muitos irmãos.
30 And those that he before-ordained to bless, them he called; and whom he called, them he justified; and whom he justified, them he glorified.
30 Depois de predestiná-los ele os chamou, e depois de chamá-los, os declarou justos, e depois de declará-los justos, lhes deu sua glória.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
31 Que podemos dizer diante de coisas tão maravilhosas? Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós?
32 Which also spared not his own Son, but betook him for us all (or but delivered him for us all), how also gave he not to us all things with him?
32 Se ele não poupou nem mesmo seu próprio Filho, mas o entregou por todos nós, acaso não nos dará todas as outras coisas?
33 Who shall accuse against the chosen men of God? It is God that justifieth,
33 Quem se atreve a acusar os escolhidos de Deus? Ninguém, pois o próprio Deus nos declara justos diante dele.
34 who is it that condemneth? It is Jesus Christ that was dead, yea, the which rose again, the which is on the right half of God, and the which prayeth for us. (who is it who condemneth? It is Jesus Christ, who died, yea, who rose again, who is on the right side, or at the right hand, of God, and who prayeth for us.)
34 Quem nos condenará, então? Ninguém, pois Cristo Jesus morreu e ressuscitou e está sentado no lugar de honra, à direita de Deus, intercedendo por nós.
35 Who then shall part us from the charity of Christ? (or What then shall separate us from the love of the Messiah?) tribulation, or anguish, or hunger, or nakedness, or persecution, or peril, or (the) sword?
35 O que nos separará do amor de Cristo? Serão aflições ou calamidades, perseguições ou fome, miséria, perigo ou ameaças de morte?
36 As it is written, For we be slain all day for thee; we be guessed as (the) sheep of slaughter, [or we be guessed as sheep to slaughter], (or we have been thought of, or we have been treated like, sheep for the slaughter).
36 Como dizem as Escrituras: “Por causa de ti, enfrentamos a morte todos os dias; somos como ovelhas levadas para o matadouro”.
37 But in all these things we overcome, for him that loved us (or through him who loved us).
37 Mas, apesar de tudo isso, somos mais que vencedores por meio daquele que nos amou.
38 But I am certain, that neither death, neither life, neither angels, neither principats (or principalities), neither virtues (or powers), neither present things, neither things to coming [or neither things to come], neither strength,
38 E estou convencido de que nem morte nem vida, nem anjos nem demônios, nem o que existe hoje nem o que virá no futuro, nem poderes,
39 neither height, neither deepness, neither any other creature, may part us from the charity of God, that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all Creation, can separate us from the love of God, that is in the Messiah Jesus our Lord.)
39 nem altura nem profundidade, nada, em toda a criação, jamais poderá nos separar do amor de Deus revelado em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.
