1 The Lord spake to Moses and Aaron, and said,

2 A man in whose skin and flesh riseth diverse colour, either (a) whelk, either as some shining thing, that is, a wound of leprosy, [or that is to say, a plague of leprosy], he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, either to one of any of his sons (or to one of his sons);
2 Quando um homem tiver na pele da sua carne, inchação, ou pústula, ou mancha lustrosa, na pele de sua carne como praga da lepra, então será levado a Arão, o sacerdote, ou a um de seus filhos, os sacerdotes.
3 and when he seeth the leprosy, or meselry, in the skin, and the hair changed into white colour, and that the species of leprosy is lower than the other skin and the flesh, it is a wound of leprosy [or it is a plague of leprosy], and he shall be separated at the doom of the priest (or and the priest shall pronounce him to be unclean).
3 E o sacerdote examinará a praga na pele da carne; se o pêlo na praga se tornou branco, e a praga parecer mais profunda do que a pele da sua carne, é praga de lepra; o sacerdote o examinará, e o declarará por imundo.
4 Soothly if the shining whiteness that is in the skin, neither (it) is lower than the tother flesh, and the hairs be of the former colour, the priest shall close him seven days (or then the priest shall enclose him for seven days);
4 Mas, se a mancha na pele de sua carne for branca, e não parecer mais profunda do que a pele, e o pêlo não se tornou branco, então o sacerdote encerrará o que tem a praga por sete dias;
5 and the priest shall behold him in the seventh day, and soothly if the leprosy wax not further, neither passeth the former terms in the flesh, again the priest shall close him again seven other days; (and the priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and if the leprosy hath not grown, \+em or not spread\+em*, nor it hath passed the original borders in the flesh, the priest shall enclose him again for seven more days;)
5 E ao sétimo dia o sacerdote o examinará; e eis que, se a praga, ao seu parecer parou, e na pele não se estendeu, então o sacerdote o encerrará por outros sete dias; 6
6 and he shall behold him in the seventh day; if the leprosy is then dark, and waxeth not in the flesh, the priest shall cleanse him, that is, shall deem him to be clean, for it is a scab; and the man shall wash his clothes, and he shall be clean. (and he shall examine \+em him\+em* again on the seventh day; if the leprosy is then dark, and hath not grown, \+em or not spread\+em*, in the flesh, the priest shall pronounce him to be clean, for it is a scab; and the man shall wash his clothes, and so he shall be clean.)
6 E o sacerdote ao sétimo dia o examinará outra vez; e eis que, se a praga se recolheu, e na pele não se estendeu, então o sacerdote o declarará por limpo; é uma pústula; e lavará as suas vestes, e será limpo.
7 That if the leprosy waxeth again, after that he is seen of the priest, and is yielded to cleanness, he shall be brought again to the priest, (But if the leprosy groweth again, \+em or spreadeth\+em*, after that he was seen by the priest, and was pronounced clean, he shall be brought again to the priest,)
7 Mas, se a pústula na pele se estende grandemente, depois que foi mostrado ao sacerdote para a sua purificação, outra vez será mostrado ao sacerdote,
8 and he shall be deemed to be of uncleanness. (and the priest shall pronounce him \+em to be\+em* unclean.)
8 E o sacerdote o examinará, e eis que, se a pústula na pele se tem estendido, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; é lepra.
9 If the wound of leprosy is in a man [or If the plague of leprosy is in a man], he shall be brought to the priest,
9 Quando no homem houver praga de lepra, será levado ao sacerdote,
10 and he shall see the man; and when white colour is in the flesh, and it changeth the sight, or former colour, of [the] hairs, and that flesh appeareth quick, or waxing, (or and that flesh appeareth to be raw),
10 E o sacerdote o examinará, e eis que, se há inchação branca na pele, a qual tornou o pêlo em branco, e houver carne viva na inchação,
11 it shall be deemed the eldest leprosy, and grown to the skin; therefore the priest shall defoul him, that is, deem him to be foul, and the priest shall not close him again, for it is of open uncleanness. (it shall be judged to be an old leprosy, \+em or a chronic skin disease\+em*, grown in the skin; and so the priest shall pronounce him to be defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*, but he shall not enclose him again, for it is an open uncleanness.)
11 Lepra inveterada é na pele da sua carne; portanto, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; não o encerrará, porque imundo é.
12 But if the leprosy running about in the skin flowereth out, (\+em or spreadeth\+em*), and covereth all the flesh, from the head till to the feet, (on) whatever thing falleth under the sight of (his) eyes;
12 E, se a lepra se espalhar de todo na pele, e a lepra cobrir toda a pele do que tem a praga, desde a sua cabeça até aos seus pés, quanto podem ver os olhos do sacerdote,
13 the priest shall behold him, and he shall deem him to be holden with the cleanest leprosy, for all the skin is turned into whiteness, and therefore the man shall be clean. (the priest shall examine him, and he shall pronounce him to be clean, for all the skin hath turned white, and so the man shall be clean.)
13 Então o sacerdote examinará, e eis que, se a lepra tem coberto toda a sua carne, então declarará o que tem a praga por limpo; todo se tornou branco; limpo está.
14 Soothly when quick flesh appeareth in him, he shall be defouled (But when raw flesh appeareth on him, he shall be pronounced defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*,)
14 Mas no dia em que aparecer nela carne viva será imundo.
15 by the doom of the priest, and he shall be areckoned among unclean men; for quick flesh is unclean, if it is sprinkled with leprosy. (by the priest, and he shall be reckoned among the unclean; for raw flesh is unclean, if it is sprinkled with leprosy.)
15 Vendo, pois, o sacerdote a carne viva, declará-lo-á por imundo; a carne é imunda; é lepra.
16 That if the (raw) flesh is turned again into whiteness, and covereth all the man, (But when the raw flesh healeth, and turneth white, the man shall go to the priest,)
16 Ou, tornando a carne viva, e mudando-se em branca, então virá ao sacerdote,
17 the priest shall behold him, and shall deem that he is clean. (and the priest shall examine him, and shall pronounce that he is clean.)
17 E este o examinará, e eis que, se a praga se tornou branca, então o sacerdote declarará limpo o que tem a praga; limpo está.
18 The flesh and the skin, in which a botch is bred, and is healed, (The flesh and the skin, in which a boil, \+em or a sore\+em*, is bred, and then is healed,)
18 Se também a carne, em cuja pele houver alguma úlcera, sarar,
19 and the place of the botch, or a fell sore, (\+em or the sore\+em*), appeareth white, either red, the man shall be brought to the priest;
19 E, em lugar da pústula, vier inchação branca ou mancha lustrosa, tirando a vermelho, mostrar-se-á então ao sacerdote.
20 and when the priest seeth the place of the leprosy (to be) lower than the other flesh, and the hairs turned into whiteness, the priest shall defoul him, that is, \+sls (shall)\+sls* deem him \+sls (to be)\+sls* foul, (or the priest shall pronounce him \+em to be\+em* defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*); for the wound of leprosy is bred in the botch [or for a plague of leprosy is sprung in the botch].
20 E o sacerdote examinará, e eis que, se ela parece mais funda do que a pele, e o seu pêlo se tornou branco, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; é praga da lepra que brotou da pústula.
21 That if the hair is of the former colour, and the sign of the wound is some-deal dark, and is not lower than the flesh beside, the priest shall close the man seven days; (But if the hair is of the former colour, and the mark of the plague is somewhat dark, and is not lower than the flesh beside it, the priest shall enclose the man for seven days;)
21 E o sacerdote, vendo-a, e eis que se nela não houver pêlo branco, nem estiver mais funda do que a pele, mas encolhida, então o sacerdote o encerrará por sete dias.
22 and soothly, if his sore waxeth, the priest shall deem the man to be (a) leper; (and if \+em his sore\+em* groweth, \+em or spreadeth\+em*, the priest shall pronounce him to be a leper;)
22 Se ela grandemente se estender na pele, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; praga é.
23 forsooth if it standeth in his place, it is a sign of a botch, and the man shall be clean. (but if it standeth in its place, it is the sign of a boil, \+em or of a sore\+em*, and the priest shall pronounce him to be clean.)
23 Mas se a mancha parar no seu lugar, não se estendendo, inflamação da pústula é; o sacerdote, pois, o declarará por limpo.
24 Flesh, and skin, which the fire hath burnt, and is (now) healed, and hath a white, either red, sign of (a) wound, the priest shall behold it (or the priest shall examine it),
24 Ou, quando na pele da carne houver queimadura de fogo, e no que é sarado da queimadura houver mancha lustrosa, tirando a vermelho ou branco,
25 and lo! if it is turned into whiteness, and the place thereof is lower than the tother skin, the priest shall defoul the man (or the priest shall pronounce him \+em to be\+em* defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*), for a wound of leprosy is bred in the sign of (the) wound [or for the plague of leprosy is sprung in the fell wound].
25 E o sacerdote vendo-a, e eis que se o pêlo na mancha se tornou branco e ela parece mais funda do que a pele, lepra é, que floresceu pela queimadura; portanto o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; é praga de lepra.
26 That if the colour of [the] hairs is not changed, neither the wound, or soreness, is lower than the tother flesh, and that species of leprosy is some-deal dark, the priest shall close the man seven days; (But if the colour of the hairs is not changed, and the sore is not lower than the other flesh, and that kind of leprosy is somewhat dark, the priest shall enclose the man for seven days;)
26 Mas, se o sacerdote, vendo-a, e eis que, se na mancha não aparecer pêlo branco, nem estiver mais funda do que a pele, mas recolhida, o sacerdote o encerrará por sete dias.
27 and in the seventh day he shall behold him; if the leprosy waxeth in the flesh, the priest shall defoul the man, (\+em that is, shall deem him to be defiled, or unclean\+em*); (and on the seventh day he shall examine \+em him\+em*; if the leprosy hath grown, \+em or spread\+em*, in the flesh, the priest shall pronounce him \+em to be\+em* defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*;)
27 Depois o sacerdote o examinará ao sétimo dia; se grandemente se houver estendido na pele, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; é praga de lepra.
28 else if the whiteness standeth in his place, and is not clear enough, it is a wound, or soreness, of burning, and therefore the man shall be cleansed, for it is a sign of burning. (but if the whiteness standeth in its place, and is light in colour, it is a sore from a burn, and so the man shall be clean, \+em that is, the priest shall pronounce him to be clean\+em*, for it is the mark of a burn.)
28 Mas se a mancha parar no seu lugar, e na pele não se estender, mas se recolher, inchação da queimadura é; portanto o sacerdote o declarará por limpo, porque inflamação é da queimadura.
29 A man or a woman, in whose head or beard leprosy burgeoneth, (A man or a woman, on whose head, or chin, groweth leprosy,)
29 E, quando homem ou mulher tiver chaga na cabeça ou na barba,
30 the priest shall see them; and if the place is lower than the tother flesh, and the hair is white, and is subtler, either smaller, than it is wont (to be), the priest shall defoul them, for it is leprosy of the head, and of the beard, (or the priest shall pronounce them to be defiled, \+em or unclean\+em*, for it is a leprosy of the head, or of the chin).
30 E o sacerdote, examinando a chaga, e eis que, se ela parece mais funda do que a pele, e pêlo amarelo fino há nela, o sacerdote o declarará por imundo; é tinha, é lepra da cabeça ou da barba.
31 Else if he seeth the place of the wem, or the sore, (to be) even with the nigh flesh, and the hair black, the priest shall close them seven days (or then the priest shall enclose them for seven days),
31 Mas, se o sacerdote, havendo examinado a praga da tinha, e eis que, se ela não parece mais funda do que a pele, e se nela não houver pêlo preto, então o sacerdote encerrará o que tem a praga da tinha por sete dias.
32 and he shall see them in the seventh day; if the wem waxeth not, and the hair is of his colour, and the place of wound is even with the tother flesh, (and he shall examine them on the seventh day; if the sore hath not grown, \+em or not spread\+em*, and the hair is its proper colour, and the place of the sore is even with the other flesh,)
32 E o sacerdote examinará a praga ao sétimo dia; e eis que, se a tinha não se tiver estendido, e nela não houver pêlo amarelo, nem a tinha parecer mais funda do que a pele,
33 the man shall be shaven, without the place of the wem, and he shall be closed again by seven other days. (the man, or the woman, shall be shaved, except for the place of the sore, and they shall be enclosed again for another seven days.)
33 Então se rapará; mas não rapará a tinha; e o sacerdote segunda vez encerrará o que tem a tinha por sete dias.
34 If in the seventh day the wound, or soreness, is seen to have stand in his place, neither (it) is lower than the tother flesh, the priest shall cleanse the man; and when his clothes be washed, he shall be clean. (If on the seventh day, the sore is seen to have stood in its place, nor is it any lower than the other flesh, the priest shall pronounce them to be clean; and when their clothes be washed, they shall be clean.)
34 Depois o sacerdote examinará a tinha ao sétimo dia; e eis que, se a tinha não se houver estendido na pele, e ela não parecer mais funda do que a pele, o sacerdote o declarará por limpo, e lavará as suas vestes, e será limpo.
35 Else if after the cleansing, a spot waxeth again in the skin, (But if, after they be pronounced clean, a spot groweth again, \+em or spreadeth\+em*, in the skin,)
35 Mas, se a tinha, depois da sua purificação, se houver estendido grandemente na pele,
36 the priest shall no more inquire, whether the hair is changed into white colour, for apertly he is unclean. (the priest shall inquire no more, whether the hair is changed to white colour, or not, for they be openly unclean.)
36 Então o sacerdote o examinará, e eis que, se a tinha se tem estendido na pele, o sacerdote não buscará pêlo amarelo; imundo está.
37 Soothly if the spot standeth still, and the hairs be black, know then the priest that the man is healed, and trustily pronounce he the man clean. (But if the spot standeth still, and the hairs be black, then let the priest know that they be healed, and trustily pronounce he that they be clean.)
37 Mas, se a tinha ao seu ver parou, e pêlo preto nela cresceu, a tinha está sã, limpo está; portanto o sacerdote o declarará por limpo.
38 A man or a woman, in whose skin whiteness appeareth,
38 E, quando homem ou mulher tiver manchas lustrosas brancas na pele da sua carne,
39 the priest shall behold them; if he perceiveth, that whiteness some-deal dark shineth in the skin, know he, that it is no leprosy, but a spot of white colour, and that the man is clean. (the priest shall examine them; if he perceiveth that a somewhat dark whiteness shineth in the skin, know he, that it is not leprosy, but a spot of white colour, and they be clean.)
39 Então o sacerdote olhará, e eis que, se na pele da sua carne aparecem manchas lustrosas escurecidas, é impigem que floresceu na pele, limpo está.
40 A man of whose head the hairs float away, he is bald, and clean; (A man from whose head the hairs float away, he is bald, and is clean;)
40 E, quando os cabelos do homem caírem da cabeça, calvo é, mas limpo está.
41 and if the hairs fall from the forehead, he is bald, and is clean;
41 E, se lhe caírem os cabelos na frente da cabeça, meio calvo é; mas limpo está.
42 else if in the baldness before, either in the baldness behind, (or but if in the baldness at the front, or in the baldness at the back), white either red colour is bred, or is sprung up,
42 Porém, se na calva, ou na meia calva, houver praga branca avermelhada, é lepra, florescendo na sua calva ou na sua meia calva.
43 and the priest seeth this, he shall condemn the man, without (any) doubt of (him having) leprosy, which is bred in the baldness.
43 Havendo, pois, o sacerdote examinado, e eis que, se a inchação da praga, na sua calva ou meia calva, está branca, tirando a vermelho, como parece a lepra na pele da carne,
44 Therefore whoever is defouled with leprosy, and is separated from other men, at the doom of the priest (or by the priest’s pronouncement),
44 Leproso é aquele homem, imundo está; o sacerdote o declarará totalmente por imundo, na sua cabeça tem a praga.
45 he shall have his clothes unsewed (or he shall wear torn clothes), and his head (shall be) bare, and his mouth (shall be) covered with a cloth, [and] he shall cry himself (to be) defouled, and vile;
45 Também as vestes do leproso, em quem está a praga, serão rasgadas, e a sua cabeça será descoberta, e cobrirá o lábio superior, e clamará: Imundo, imundo.
46 in all the time that he is leprous and unclean, he shall dwell alone, without the tents. (and in all the time that he is leprous and unclean, he shall live alone, away from the tents.)
46 Todos os dias em que a praga houver nele, será imundo; imundo está, habitará só; a sua habitação será fora do arraial.
47 A woollen cloth, either linen, (A woollen cloak, or a linen one,)
47 Quando também em alguma roupa houver praga de lepra, em roupa de lã, ou em roupa de linho,
48 that hath leprosy in the warp, either woof, either certainly a skin, or a pilch, either whatever thing is made of skin,
48 Ou no fio urdido, ou no fio tecido, seja de linho, ou seja de lã, ou em pele, ou em qualquer obra de peles,
49 if it is corrupted with a white spot, either red, it shall be areckoned (to be) leprosy, and it shall be showed to the priest;
49 E a praga na roupa, ou na pele, ou no fio urdido, ou no fio tecido, ou em qualquer coisa de peles aparecer verde ou vermelha, praga de lepra é, por isso se mostrará ao sacerdote,
50 the which when he hath beheld (it), shall close it up seven days (or shall enclose it for seven days).
50 E o sacerdote examinará a praga, e encerrará aquilo que tem a praga por sete dias.
51 And again he shall behold it in the seventh day, and if he perceiveth, that the leprosy therein hath waxed, it shall be deemed[a] continual leprosy; he shall deem that cloth defouled, and all thing(s) in which it is found; (And he shall examine it again on the seventh day, and if he perceiveth, that the leprosy in it hath grown, it shall be \+em judged\+em* an abiding leprosy; he shall judge that cloak to be defiled, and all the things in which it is found;)
51 Então examinará a praga ao sétimo dia; se a praga se houver estendido na roupa, ou no fio urdido, ou no fio tecido ou na pele, para qualquer obra que for feita da pele, lepra roedora é, imunda está;
52 and therefore the cloth shall be burnt with flames of fire. (and so the cloak shall be burned in the fire.)
52 Por isso se queimará aquela roupa, ou fio urdido, ou fio tecido de lã, ou de linho, ou de qualquer obra de peles, em que houver a praga, porque lepra roedora é; com fogo se queimará.
53 And if the priest seeth that the spot hath waxed not, (And if the priest seeth that \+em the spot\+em* hath not grown, \+em or not spread\+em*,)
53 Mas, o sacerdote, vendo, e eis que, se a praga não se estendeu na roupa, ou no fio urdido, ou no tecido, ou em qualquer obra de peles,
54 he shall command, and they shall wash that thing wherein the leprosy is, and he shall close it again seven other days (or and he shall enclose it for another seven days);
54 Então o sacerdote ordenará que se lave aquilo no qual havia a praga, e o encerrará segunda vez por sete dias;
55 and when he seeth the former likeness not changed again, nevertheless that neither the leprosy hath waxed, he shall (still) deem that thing (to be) unclean, and he shall burn it in fire, for the leprosy is shed in the over-part of that cloth, either through[out]it all, (or for there is leprosy on the outer part of that cloak, or on the inside of \+em it\+em*).
55 E o sacerdote, examinando a praga, depois que for lavada, e eis que se ela não mudou o seu aspecto, nem se estendeu, imundo está, com fogo o queimarás; praga penetrante é, seja por dentro ou por fora.
56 Else if the place of [the] leprosy is darker, after that the cloth is washed, he shall break away that dark place, and he shall part it from the whole. (But if the place of the leprosy is darker, after that the cloak is washed, he shall tear away that dark place, and so he shall part it from the whole.)
56 Mas se o sacerdote verificar que a praga se tem recolhido, depois de lavada, então a rasgará da roupa, ou da pele ou do fio urdido ou tecido;
57 That if fleeing leprosy and unsteadfast appeareth furthermore in these places, that were unwemmed before, it oughteth to be burnt in fire; (But if a spreading leprosy appeareth again in these places, that before were without blemish, it ought to be burned in the fire;)
57 E, se ainda aparecer na roupa, ou no fio urdido ou tecido ou em qualquer coisa de peles, lepra brotante é; com fogo queimarás aquilo em que há a praga;
58 if it ceaseth, he shall wash the second time those things that be clean, and they shall be clean. (but if it ceaseth, he shall wash those things that be clean a second time, and then they shall be clean.)
58 Mas a roupa ou fio urdido ou tecido ou qualquer coisa de peles, que lavares, e de que a praga se retirar, se lavará segunda vez, e será limpa.
59 This is the law of leprosy of a cloth, woollen and linen, of warp and woof, and of all purtenance of skin, how it oughteth to be cleansed, either to be defouled. (This is the law for leprosy in a cloak, woollen or linen, and of warp and woof, and of all purtenances of skins, and how they ought to be pronounced clean, or unclean.)
59 Esta é a lei da praga da lepra na roupa de lã, ou de linho, ou do fio urdido, ou tecido, ou de qualquer coisa de peles, para declará-la limpa, ou para declará-la imunda.
