¹ And the Lord spake to Moses, saying,

¹ O Senhor disse a Moisés:

² In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt raise the tabernacle of witnessing. (In the first month, on the first day of the month, thou shalt raise up the Tabernacle of the Witnessing.)

² "No primeiro dia do primeiro mês, levantarás o tabernáculo, a tenda de reunião.

³ And thou shalt set the ark therein, and thou shalt leave a veil before it. (And thou shalt put the Ark in it, and thou shalt put the Veil in front of the Ark.)

³ Porás nele a arca da aliança e a ocultarás com o véu.

⁴ And when the board is borne in, thou shalt set thereon those things that be commanded justly, either by the law. The candlestick shall stand with his lanterns, (And when the table is brought in, thou shalt put on it those things that be commanded by the law. And thou shalt bring in the lampstand, and its lanterns,)

⁴ Trarás a mesa e disporás nela as coisas que devem estar sobre ela. Trarás o candelabro e porás nele suas lâmpadas.

⁵ and the golden altar, wherein the incense is burnt before the ark of witnessing. Thou shalt set a curtain in the entering of the tabernacle; (and the gold altar, on which the incense is burned before the Ark of the Witnessing. And thou shalt hang the curtain at the entrance to the Tabernacle;)

⁵ Colocarás o altar de ouro para o perfume diante da arca da aliança e pendurarás o véu à entrada do tabernáculo.

⁶ and before it thou shalt set the altar of burnt sacrifice, (and in front of it, \+em thou shalt put\+em* the altar of burnt sacrifice,)

⁷ (and)thou shalt set the washing vessel betwixt the altar and the tabernacle, which washing vessel thou shalt fill with water.

⁷ Colocarás a bacia entre a tenda de reunião e o altar, e porás água nela.

⁸ And thou shalt (en)compass the great porch, and the entering thereof, with curtains. (And thou shalt set up the courtyard all around it, and hang up the curtain at its entrance.)

⁸ Farás o recinto do átrio e disporás a cortina à entrada do átrio.

⁹ And when thou hast taken the oil of anointing, thou shalt anoint the tabernacle, with his vessels, (or thou shalt anoint the Tabernacle, and all its vessels), (so) that those be hallowed;

⁹ Tomarás o óleo de unção e ungirás com ele o tabernáculo com tudo o que ele contém; consagrá-lo-ás com todo o seu mobiliário, para que ele se torne uma coisa santa.

¹⁰ the altar of burnt sacrifice, and all the vessels thereof;

¹⁰ Ungirás o altar dos holocaustos e todos os seus utensílios; em virtude de tua consagração, o altar se tornará uma coisa santíssima.

¹¹ the washing vessel, with his foundament. Thou shalt anoint all things with the oil of anointing, that they be holy of holy things. (and the washing vessel, and its foundation, \+em or its base\+em*. Thou shalt anoint all these things with the anointing oil, so that they be consecrated, and most holy.)

¹¹ Ungirás a bacia com seu pedestal, e a consagrarás.

¹² And thou shalt present Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of witnessing (or And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tabernacle of the Witnessing); and, when they be washed with water,

¹² Farás em seguida aproximarem-se Aarão e seus filhos da entrada da tenda de reunião, onde os lavarás com água.

¹³ thou shalt clothe them in (the) holy clothes, that they minister to me (or so that they can serve as my priests),

¹³ Revestirás Aarão com os ornamentos sagrados; ungi-lo-ás e o consagrarás, e ele será sacerdote a meu serviço.

¹⁴ Farás aproximarem-se seus filhos e, depois de os teres revestido de túnicas,

¹⁵ and (so) that the anointing of them profit into (an) everlasting priesthood.

¹⁵ tu os ungirás como o fizeste com seu pai; e serão sacerdotes a meu serviço. Essa unção lhes conferirá o sacerdócio para sempre, de geração em geração."

¹⁶ And Moses did all things that the Lord commanded.

¹⁶ Moisés fez tudo o que o Senhor lhe havia mandado, e se conformou a tudo.

¹⁷ Therefore in the first month of the second year, in the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set. (And so in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the Tabernacle was set up.)

¹⁷ Assim, no segundo ano, no primeiro dia do primeiro mês, o tabernáculo foi erigido.

¹⁸ And Moses areared it, and he set (up) the boards, and bases, and bars, and he ordained [the] pillars;

¹⁸ Moisés levantou o tabernáculo: pôs suas bases, suas tábuas, suas travessas, e assentou suas colunas.

¹⁹ and he stretched out the roof upon the tabernacle, and he put a covering above (it), as the Lord commanded. (and he stretched out the tent over the Tabernacle, and he put the coverings over the tent, as the Lord commanded.)

¹⁹ Estendeu a tenda sobre o tabernáculo, e pôs a coberta da tenda por cima, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.

²⁰ He put also the witnessing, that is, the tables of the law, in the ark, and he set the bars within (the rings), and God’s answering place above (the ark). (And he put the Witnessing, \+em that is, the tablets of the Law\+em*, into the Ark, \+em that is, the Box for the tablets\+em*, and he set the bars within the rings, and \+em he put\+em* the propitiatory, \+em that is, the mercy seat, or the lid\+em*, on the Box.)

²⁰ Tomou o testemunho e colocou-o na arca; meteu os varais na arca, e colocou nela a tampa.

²¹ And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he hanged a veil before it, that he should fulfill the commandment of the Lord. (And when he had brought the Ark into the Tabernacle, he hung up the Veil in front of it, as the Lord commanded him.)

²¹ Introduziu a arca no tabernáculo; e, tendo pendurado o véu de separação, cobriu com ele a arca da aliança, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

²² He setted also the board in the tabernacle of witnessing, at the north coast, without the veil, (And he put the table in the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, on the north side of the Tabernacle, in front of the Veil,)

²² Colocou a mesa na tenda de reunião, do lado norte do tabernáculo, diante da cortina;

²³ and he ordained the loaves of setting forth (on the table), before (the Lord), as the Lord commanded to Moses. (and he placed the loaves of proposition, \+em or the showbread\+em*, on the table, before the Lord, as the Lord commanded to Moses.)

²³ e dispôs nela em ordem os pães diante do Senhor, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.

²⁴ He set also the candlestick in the tabernacle of witnessing, even against the board, in the south side, (And he set the lampstand in the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, opposite the table, on the south side of the Tabernacle,)

²⁴ Pôs o candelabro na tenda de reunião, diante da mesa, do lado sul do tabernáculo,

²⁵ and he set the lanterns by order, by the commandment of the Lord. (and he set up the lanterns before the Lord, as the Lord commanded him.)

²⁵ e dispôs nele as lâmpadas diante do Senhor, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.

²⁶ He putted also the golden altar under the roof of witnessing, that is, of the tabernacle, against the veil, (And he put the gold altar in the Tent of the Witnessing, \+em that is, in the Tabernacle\+em*, in front of the Veil,)

²⁶ Colocou o altar de ouro na tenda de reunião, diante do véu,

²⁷ and he burnt thereon incense of sweet smelling spiceries, as the Lord commanded to Moses.

²⁷ e queimou nele o incenso, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.

²⁸ He set also a curtain in the entering of the tabernacle, (And he hung up the curtain at the entrance to the Tabernacle,)

²⁸ Colocou a cortina à entrada do tabernáculo.

²⁹ and (set) the altar of burnt sacrifice in the porch (of the tabernacle) of witnessing, and he offered there(on) burnt sacrifice, and sacrifices, as the Lord commanded. (and put the altar of burnt sacrifice by the entrance to the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, and then he offered on it the burnt sacrifice, and the sacrifices, as the Lord commanded him.)

²⁹ Colocou o altar dos holocaustos à entrada do tabernáculo, da tenda de reunião, e ofereceu sobre ele o holocausto e a oblação, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.

³⁰ Also he ordained the washing vessel, betwixt the tabernacle of witnessing and the altar, and filled it with water. (And he put the washing vessel between the Tabernacle of the Witnessing and the altar, and filled it with water.)

³⁰ Colocou a bacia entre a tenda de reunião e o altar, e pôs nela a água para as abluções.

³¹ And Moses, and Aaron, and his sons, washed their hands and their feet therein,

³¹ Moisés, Aarão e seus filhos lavaram aí as mãos e os pés.

³² when they entered into the tabernacle of the bond of peace, and nighed to the altar, as the Lord commanded to Moses. (whenever they entered into the Tabernacle of the Covenant, \+em that is, the Tabernacle of the Witnessing\+em*, or when they approached the altar, as the Lord commanded to Moses.)

³² Quando entravam na tenda de reunião e se aproximavam do altar, faziam suas abluções, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

³³ He areared also the great porch, by compass of the tabernacle and of the altar, and setted a curtain in the entering thereof. (And he set up the courtyard, \+em that is, the pillars and the curtains that enclosed the courtyard\+em*, all around the Tabernacle and the altar, and hung up a curtain at its entrance.)

³³ Enfim, fez o recinto do átrio em torno do tabernáculo e do altar e colocou a cortina na porta do átrio. Assim terminou Moisés a sua tarefa.

³⁴ After that all things were perfectly made, a cloud covered the tabernacle of witnessing, and the glory of the Lord filled it; (And when all things were completed, a cloud covered the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, and the glory of the Lord filled it;)

³⁴ Então a nuvem cobriu a tenda de reunião e a glória do Senhor encheu o tabernáculo.

³⁵ neither Moses might enter into the tabernacle of the bond of peace (or and Moses could not go into the Tabernacle of the Covenant, \+em that is, the Tabernacle of the Witnessing\+em*), while the cloud covered all things, and the majesty of the Lord shined, for the cloud covered all things.

³⁵ E era impossível a Moisés entrar na tenda de reunião, porque a nuvem pairava sobre ela, e a glória do Senhor enchia o tabernáculo.

³⁶ If any time the cloud left the tabernacle, the sons of Israel went forth by their companies; (And any time that the cloud left the Tabernacle, the Israelites went forth on their journey;)

³⁶ Durante todo o curso de suas peregrinações, os israelitas se punham a caminho quando se elevava a nuvem que estava sobre o tabernáculo;

³⁷ (but) if the cloud hanged there above, they dwelled in the same place;

³⁷ do contrário, eles não partiam até o dia em que ela se elevasse.

³⁸ for the cloud of the Lord rested on the tabernacle by day, and fire (was on it) in the night, in the sight of the people of Israel, by all their dwellings. (for the cloud of the Lord rested on the Tabernacle by day, and a fire was over it in the night, before the people of Israel, during all of their journey.)

³⁸ E, enquanto duraram as suas peregrinações, a nuvem do Senhor pairou sobre o tabernáculo durante o dia; e, durante a noite, havia um fogo na nuvem, que era visível a todos os israelitas.
