1 I witness before God and Christ Jesus, that shall deem the quick and the dead, by the coming of him, and the kingdom of him, (I testify before God and the Messiah Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, by his coming, and his reign,)
1 Eu lhe digo solenemente, na presença de Deus e de Cristo Jesus, que um dia julgará os vivos e os mortos quando vier para estabelecer seu reino:
2 preach the word, be thou busy covenably without rest, (or be thou suitably busy, or be thou busy at every opportunity, without any rest, or without ceasing), reprove thou, beseech thou, blame thou in all patience and doctrine.
2 pregue a palavra. Esteja preparado, quer a ocasião seja favorável, quer não. Corrija, repreenda e encoraje com paciência e bom ensino.
3 For (the) time shall be, when men shall not suffer [or shall not sustain] wholesome teaching (or when men shall not allow or permit wholesome teaching), but at their desires they shall gather together to themselves masters (or teachers) itching [or pleasing] to the ears.
3 Pois virá o tempo em que as pessoas já não escutarão o ensino verdadeiro. Seguirão os próprios desejos e buscarão mestres que lhes digam apenas aquilo que agrada seus ouvidos.
4 And truly they shall turn away the(ir) hearing from (the) truth, but to fables they shall turn (or and instead they shall turn their attention to fables).
4 Rejeitarão a verdade e correrão atrás de mitos.
5 But wake thou (or Watch), in all things travail thou, do [thou] the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy service, [or \+sls (thine)\+sls* office], be thou sober (or be resolute).
5 Você, porém, deve manter a sobriedade em todas as situações. Não tenha medo de sofrer. Trabalhe para anunciar as boas-novas e realize todo o ministério que lhe foi confiado.
6 For I am sacrificed now, and the time of my departing is nigh (or and the time of my departure is near).
6 Quanto a mim, minha vida já foi derramada como oferta para Deus. O tempo de minha morte se aproxima.
7 I have striven a good strife (or I have fought a good fight), I have ended the course, I have kept the faith.
7 Lutei o bom combate, terminei a corrida e permaneci fiel.
8 In the tother time a crown of rightwiseness is kept to me, which the Lord, a just doomsman, shall yield to me in that day; and not only to me, but also to these that love his coming. (In the time to come a crown of righteousness is kept for me, which the Lord, a righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day; and not only to me, but also to those who await his coming with love.)
8 Agora o prêmio me espera, a coroa de justiça que o Senhor, o justo Juiz, me dará no dia de sua volta. E o prêmio não será só para mim, mas para todos que, com grande expectativa, aguardam a sua vinda.
9 Hie thou to come to me soon.
9 Por favor, venha assim que puder.
10 For Demas, loving this world, hath forsaken me, and went to Thessalonica, Crescens into Galatia, Titus into Dalmatia;
10 Demas me abandonou, pois ama as coisas desta vida e foi para Tessalônica. Crescente foi embora para a Galácia, e Tito, para a Dalmácia.
11 Luke alone is with me. Take thou Mark, and bring (him) with thee; for he is profitable to me into service.
11 Apenas Lucas está comigo. Traga Marcos com você, pois ele me será útil no ministério.
12 Forsooth I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

13 The cloth which I left at Troas at Carpas (or The cloak which I left with Carpas in Troas), when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but most(ly) the parchments.
13 Quando vier, não se esqueça de trazer a capa que deixei com Carpo, em Trôade. Traga também meus livros e especialmente meus pergaminhos.
14 Alexander, the treasurer, showed to me much evil; the Lord shall yield to him after his works.
14 Alexandre, o artífice que trabalha com cobre, me prejudicou muito, mas o Senhor o julgará pelo que ele fez.
15 Whom also thou eschew; for he against-stood full greatly our words. (Whom also thou should shun; for he very strongly stood against our words.)
15 Tome cuidado com ele, porque se opôs fortemente a tudo que dissemos.
16 In my first defence no man helped me, but all forsook me; be it not areckoned to them.
16 Na primeira vez que fui levado perante o juiz, ninguém me acompanhou. Todos me abandonaram. Que isso não seja cobrado deles.
17 But the Lord helped me [or Forsooth the Lord stood nigh to me], and comforted me, that the preaching be [full-]filled by me, and that all folks hear, (and) that I am delivered from the mouth of the lion. (But the Lord stood near to me, or by me, and strengthened me, so that the preaching was fully proclaimed by me, and all the nations heard it, and I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.)
17 Mas o Senhor permaneceu ao meu lado e me deu forças para que eu pudesse anunciar as boas-novas plenamente, a fim de que todos os gentios as ouvissem. E ele me livrou da boca do leão.
18 And the Lord delivered me from all evil work, and shall make me safe into his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory into worlds of worlds. Amen. (And the Lord shall deliver me from all evil works, and shall bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom, to whom \+em be\+em* glory forever and ever. Amen.)
18 Sim, o Senhor me livrará de todo ataque maligno e me levará em segurança para seu reino celestial. A Deus seja a glória para todo o sempre! Amém.
19 Greet well Prisca, and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus. (Give hearty greetings to Prisca, and Aquila, and Onesiphorus’ household or family.)

20 Erastus (was) left [or dwelt] at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletum.

21 Hie thou to come before winter. Eubulus, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all brethren, greet thee well, (or and all the brothers, send hearty greetings).
