1 Therefore all Israel was numbered, and the sum of them was written in the book of [the] kings of Israel and of Judah; and they were translated into Babylon for their sin. (And so all Israel was listed, \+em or registered\+em*, and their sum was written down in The Book of the Kings of Israel and of Judah; but they were carried away to Babylon because of their sins.)
1 Todo o Israel, pois, foi arrolado por genealogias, que estão inscritas no livro dos reis de Israel; e Judá foi transportado para Babilônia, por causa da sua infidelidade.
2 And they that dwelled first in their cities, and in the possessions of Israel, and the priests, and the deacons, and Nethinims, (And the first to return, and to live on their own possessions, \+em or on their own property\+em*, in their cities, were the Israelites, and the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims.)
2 Ora, os primeiros a se restabelecerem nas suas possessões e nas suas cidades foram de Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas, e os netinins.
3 dwelled in Jerusalem. Of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, also of the sons of Ephraim, and of Manasseh; (And they who lived in Jerusalem \+em were\+em* of the sons of Judah, and of Benjamin, and of Ephraim, and of Manasseh;)
3 E alguns dos filhos de Judá, de Benjamim, e de Efraim e Manassés, habitaram em Jerusalém:
4 (of the sons of Judah); Uthai, the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the sons of Pharez (or of the sons of Perez), the son of Judah;
4 Utai, filho de Amiúde, filho de Onri, filho de Inri, filho de Bari, dos filhos de Pérez, filho de Judá;
5 and of Shelah (or and of the Shilonites, or and of the Shelanites); Asaiah, the first begotten (son), and his sons;
5 dos silonitas: Asaías o primogênito, e seus filhos;
6 and (of) the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and his brethren (or and his kinsmen); six hundred, fourscore and ten.

7 And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the sons of Hodaviah, the sons of Hasenuah, (And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,)
7 dos filhos de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulão, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenua;
8 and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the sons of Michri (or the son of Michri), and Meshullam the son of Shephathiah, the son of Reuel, (the) son of Ibnijah,
8 Ibnéias, filho de Jeroão; Elá, filho de Uzi, filho de Mícri; Mesulão, filho de Sefatias, filho de Reuel, filho de Ibnijas;
9 and the brethren of them, by their families; nine hundred [and] six and fifty. All these were princes of their kindreds by the houses of their fathers. (and their kinsmen, by their families; nine hundred and fifty-six. All these \+em were\+em* leaders of their kindreds by the houses of their forefathers.)
9 e seus irmãos, segundo as suas gerações, novecentos e cinqüenta e seis. Todos estes homens foram chefes de casas paternas, segundo as casas de seus pais.
10 And of the priests, Jedaiah, (and) Jehoiarib, and Jachin;
10 E dos sacerdotes: Jedaías, Jeoiaribe e Jaquim;
11 and Azariah, the son of Hilkiah, (the) son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, (the) son of Ahitub, was[the] bishop of the house of the Lord (or was the High Priest, \+em or the ruler\+em*, of the House of the Lord).
11 Azarias, filho de Hilquias, filho de Mesulão, filho de Zadoque, filho de Meraiote. filho de Aitube, regente da casa de Deus;
12 (And) Adaiah, son of Jeroham, son of Pashur, son of Malchijah, and Maasiai, son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer,
12 Adaías, filho de Jeroão, filho de Pasur, filho de Malquias; Maasai, filho de Adiel, filho de Jazera, filho de Mesulão, filho de Mesilemite, filho de Imer;
13 also their brethren, princes by their families, were a thousand seven hundred and fourscore, (or and their kinsmen, leaders of their families, \+em were\+em* a thousand seven hundred and sixty), men full strong in bodily might, to make the work of [the] service in the house of the Lord.
13 como também seus irmãos, chefes de suas casas paternas, mil setecentos e sessenta, homens capacitados para o serviço a casa de Deus.
14 And of the deacons (or And of the Levites); Shemaiah, the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
14 E dos levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube, filho de Azricão, filho de Hasabias, dos filhos de Merári:
15 also Bakbakkar, the carpenter, and Galal, and Mattaniah, the son of Micah, son of Zichri, son of Asaph, (and Bakbakkar, and Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah, the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,)
15 Baquebacar, Heres, Galal, e Matanias, filho de Mica, filho de Zicri, filho de Asafe;
16 and Obadiah, the son of Shemaiah, (the) son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelled in the porches of Netophathites (or who lived in the villages of the Netophathites).
16 Obadias, filho de Semaías, filho de Galal, filho de Jedútun; e Berequias, filho de Asa, filho de Elcana, morador das aldeias dos netofatitas.
17 And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and the brethren of them; Shallum was the prince; (And the gatekeepers \+em were\+em* Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their kinsmen; and Shallum \+em was\+em* the leader;)
17 Foram porteiros: Salum, Acube, Talmom, Aimã, e seus irmãos, sendo Salum o chefe;
18 till to that time they kept by their whiles in the gate of the king at the east, of the sons of Levi. (until that time, they had all been gatekeepers in the companies of the Levites, at the King’s Gate, on the east.)
18 e até aquele tempo estavam de guarda à porta do rei, que ficava ao oriente. Estes foram os porteiros para os arraiais dos filhos de Levi.
19 Shallum forsooth, the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, with his brethren, and with the house of his father; these be the sons of Korah upon the works of the service, keepers of the porches of the tabernacle, and the families of them kept by whiles, or times, the entering of the castles of the Lord. (And Shallum, the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, with his kinsmen, of the house of his father; these Korahites were in charge of the guards at the entrance to the Tabernacle; for their families had long guarded the entrances to the tents, \+em or to the camp\+em*, of the Lord.)
19 Salum, filho de Coré, filho de Ebiasafe, filho de Corá, e seus irmãos da casa de seu pai, os coraítas estavam encarregados do serviço como guardas das entradas do tabernáculo, como seus pais também tinham sido encarregados do arraial do Senhor, sendo guardas da entrada.
20 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, was the duke of them before the Lord. (And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, \+em (had been)\+em* their leader before, the Lord be with him!)
20 Finéias, filho de Eleazar, dantes era guia entre eles; e o Senhor era com ele.
21 And Zechariah, the son of Meshelemiah, was porter of the gate of the tabernacle of witnessing. (And Zechariah, the son of Meshelemiah, \+em was\+em* gatekeeper at the gate to the Tabernacle of the Witnessing.)
21 Zacarias, filho de Meselemias, guardava a porta da tenda da revelação.
22 All these chosen into porters by (the) gates were two hundred and twelve, and they were described, or presented, in their own towns, which deacons, or ministers, David and Samuel, the prophet, ordained in their faith, (All these chosen to be gatekeepers at the gates \+em were\+em* two hundred and twelve, and they were listed in their own towns, and David, and the prophet Samuel, had ordained these \+em Levites, or these ministers\+em*, for their faithfulness,)
22 Todos estes, escolhidos para serem guardas das entradas, foram duzentos e doze; e foram contados por suas genealogias, nas suas aldeias. Davi e Samuel, o vidente, os constituíram nos seus respectivos cargos.
23 both them and the sons of them in the doors of the house of the Lord, and in the tabernacle of witnessing, by their whiles. (both them and their sons \+em to be\+em* at the doors of the House of the Lord, that is, at the entrance to the Tabernacle of the Witnessing, by their watches.)
23 Tinham, pois, eles e seus filhos o cargo das portas da casa do Senhor, a saber, da casa da tenda, como guardas.
24 Porters were by four coasts (or The gatekeepers were on four sides), that is, at the east, at the west, at the north, and at the south.
24 Os porteiros estavam aos quatro lados, ao oriente, ao ocidente, ao norte e ao sul:
25 And their brethren dwelled in towns, and came in their sabbaths from time till to time. (And their kinsmen lived in their towns, and came for seven days at a time, each in their turn.)
25 Seus irmãos, que moravam nas suas aldeias, deviam de tempo em tempo vir por sete dias para servirem com eles.
26 All the number of porters was betaken to these four deacons, and they kept (charge of) the chambers, and the treasures of the house of the Lord. (These four chief gatekeepers were Levites; and they were greatly trusted, and kept charge of the rooms, and the supplies of the House of the Lord.)
26 pois os quatro porteiros principais, que eram levitas, estavam encarregados das câmaras e dos tesouros da casa de Deus.
27 Also they dwelled in their keepings by the compass of the temple of the Lord, that when time were, they should open the gates early. (And they lived in their residences about the Temple of the Lord, so that at the proper time, they could open the gates every morning.)
27 E se alojavam à roda da casa de Deus. Porque a sua guarda lhes estava entregue, e tinham o encargo de abri-la cada manhã.
28 Men of their kin were also on the vessels of [the] service; for the vessels were borne in at the number, and were borne out of them. (\+em Men\+em* of their kin were also in charge of the vessels used in the service; for the vessels were borne in and borne out by them, by number.)
28 Alguns deles estavam encarregados dos utensílios do serviço, pois estes por conta eram trazidos e por conta eram tirados.
29 And they that had the vessels of the saintuary betaken to their keeping, were sovereigns of [the tried] flour, and [the] wine, and oil, and incense, and sweet smelling spiceries. (And they who had the vessels of the sanctuary under their charge, \+em or their care\+em*, were also responsible for the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the incense, and the sweet smelling spices.)
29 Outros estavam encarregados dos móveis e de todos os utensílios do santuário, como também da flor de farinha, do vinho, do azeite, do incenso e das especiarias.
30 And (some of) the sons of [the] priests made ointments of (the) sweet smelling spiceries.
30 Os que confeccionavam as especiarias eram dos filhos dos sacerdotes.
31 And Mattithiah, deacon (or the Levite), the first begotten son of Shallum of the kindred of Korah, was the sovereign of all things that were fried in the frying pan.
31 Matitias, um dos levitas, o primogênito de Salum, o coraíta, estava encarregado de tudo o que se cozia em sertãs.
32 And men of the sons of Kohath, the brethren of them, were on the loaves of setting forth, that they should make ready ever new loaves by each sabbath. (And \+em some\+em* of the sons of Kohath, their kinsmen, were responsible for the loaves of setting forth, \+em or the loaves of proposition\+em*, and they prepared new loaves every Sabbath.)
32 E seus irmãos, dentre os filhos dos coatitas, alguns tinham o cargo dos pães da proposição, para os prepararem de sábado em sábado.
33 These be the princes of chanters, by the families of Levites, that dwelled in chambers, so that they should serve continually day and night in their service. (These be the leaders of the cantors, \+em or of the singers\+em*, by the families of the Levites, who lived in rooms set apart for them, so that they could continually serve day and night in their service.)
33 Estes são os cantores, chefes de casas paternas dos levitas, que moravam nas câmaras e estavam isentos de outros serviços, porque de dia e de noite se ocupavam naquele serviço.
34 The heads of (the) Levites, by their families, the princes, dwelled in Jerusalem. (The heads of the Levites, their leaders, lived in Jerusalem, by their families.)
34 Estes foram chefes de casas paternas dos levitas, em suas gerações; e estes habitaram em Jerusalém.
35 And there dwelled in Gibeon, Jeiel, the father of Gibeon, and the name of his wife (was) Maachah; (And Jeiel, the founder of Gibeon, lived in Gibeon, and his wife’s name was Maachah;)
35 Em Gibeão habitou Jeiel, pai de Hibeão {e era o nome de sua mulher Maacá};
36 (and) Abdon, his first begotten son, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
36 seu filho primogênito foi Abdom; depois Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner, Nadabe,
37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth;
37 Gedor, Aiô, Zacarias e Miclote.
38 and Mikloth begat Shimeam; these dwelled even against their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren. (and Mikloth begat Shimeam; they lived with their kinsmen in Jerusalem.)
38 Miclote foi pai de Simeão; também estes habitaram em Jerusalém defronte d‰ seus irmãos.
39 And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
39 Ner foi pai de Quis; Quis de Saul; e Saul de Jônatas, Malquisua, Abinadabe e Es-Baal.
40 And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begat Micah.
40 Filho de Jônatas foi Meribe-Baal; Meribe-Baal foi pai de Mica.
41 And the sons of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, (and Ahaz);
41 Os filhos de Mica: Pitom, Meleque, Tareá, e Acaz.
42 and Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
42 Acaz foi pai de Jará; Jará foi pai de Alemete, Azmavete e Zinri; Zinri foi pai de Moza;
43 and Moza begat Binea, whose son Rephaiah begat Eleasah, of whom Azel was begotten.
43 Moza foi pai de Bineá, de quem foi filho Refaías, de quem foi filho Eleasá, de quem foi filho Azel.
44 And Azel had six sons by these names, Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, (and) Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.
44 Azel teve seis filhos, cujos nomes são: Azricão, Bocru, Ismael, Searias, Obadias e Hanã; estes foram os filhos de Azel.
