1 Abre, ó Líbano, as tuas portas, e o fogo devore os teus cedros; geme, cipreste, porque o cedro caiu.
2 Wail|strong="H3213", pine-tree, for|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" cedar is|strong="H7703" fallen|strong="H5307".
2 As mais belas árvores foram abatidas! Gemei, carvalhos de Basã, porque foi dizimada a floresta impenetrável.
3 Listen|strong="H6963" to|strong="H3383" the|strong="H3588" wailing|strong="H3215" of|strong="H6963" the|strong="H3588" shepherds|strong="H7462"!
3 Ouve-se o pranto dos pastores porque foram arruinados os seus pastos, o seu orgulho. Ouve-se o rugir dos leõezinhos, porque foram devastadas as florestas do Jordão.
4 The|strong="H3541" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* said to|strong="H3068" me: shepherd|strong="H7462" the|strong="H3541" flock|strong="H6629" destined for|strong="H3068" slaughter|strong="H2028",
4 Eis o que diz o Senhor meu Deus:
5 whose possessors|strong="H7069" slaughter|strong="H2026" them|strong="H5921", and|strong="H3068" hold|strong="H2550" themselves|strong="H7462" not|strong="H3808" guilty! The|strong="H5921" people|strong="H3808" who|strong="H3068" sell|strong="H4376" them|strong="H5921" say, Blessed|strong="H1288" be|strong="H3808" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*, for|strong="H5921" I|strong="H5921" am|strong="H3068" rich|strong="H6238"! And|strong="H3068" their|strong="H3068" own shepherds|strong="H7462" have|strong="H3068" no|strong="H3808" compassion|strong="H2550" for|strong="H5921" them|strong="H5921".
5 Apascenta estas ovelhas destinadas ao matadouro, que são compradas e degoladas impunemente, cujos vendedores dizem: Bendito seja o Senhor! Eis que estou rico! - sem que nenhum pastor tenha compaixão delas.
6 I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3068" no|strong="H3808" longer|strong="H5750" have|strong="H3068" pity|strong="H2550" on|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5002" people|strong="H3427" of|strong="H4428" this|strong="H3588" earth, says|strong="H5002" the|strong="H5002" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*. I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3068" turn neighbour|strong="H7453" against|strong="H5921" neighbour|strong="H7453", and|strong="H3068" put|strong="H3068" everyone under|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5002" power|strong="H3027" of|strong="H4428" a|strong="H3068" king|strong="H4428", and|strong="H3068" when|strong="H3588" the|strong="H5002" land is|strong="H3068" devastated I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" rescue|strong="H5337" them|strong="H5921".
6 Por minha vez, não pouparei mais os habitantes desta terra - oráculo do Senhor. Entregarei os homens uns aos outros e nas mãos de seu rei; devastarão o país e não livrarei ninguém de sua mão.
7 So|strong="H3651" I|strong="H3651" shepherded|strong="H7462" the|strong="H3947" flock|strong="H6629" of|strong="H6629" slaughter|strong="H2028" for|strong="H7121" the|strong="H3947" sheep-merchants. I|strong="H3651" took|strong="H3947" two|strong="H8147" staffs|strong="H4731": one|strong="H8147" I|strong="H3651" called|strong="H7121" Mercy and|strong="H6041" the|strong="H3947" other|strong="H8147" I|strong="H3651" called|strong="H7121" Union. 7 Pus-me então a apascentar as ovelhas destinadas ao matadouro, as mais miseráveis do rebanho. Escolhi dois cajados, aos quais chamei respectivamente Benignidade e Liame, e comecei a apascentar o rebanho.
8 I|strong="H5315" set aside three|strong="H7969" of|strong="H5315" the|strong="H1571" shepherds|strong="H7462" in|strong="H5315" one|strong="H1571" month|strong="H3391"; for|strong="H5315" I|strong="H5315" was|strong="H5315" indignant against|strong="H1571" them|strong="H7462", and|strong="H5315" they|strong="H5315" also|strong="H1571" were|strong="H5315" displeased at|strong="H5315" me|strong="H5315".
8 Despedi os três pastores desde o primeiro mês: eu estava cansado deles, e eles estavam desgostados de mim.
9 I|strong="H3808" said, I|strong="H3808" will|strong="H1320" not|strong="H3808" shepherd|strong="H7462" you|strong="H3808". What is|strong="H1320" dead|strong="H4191", let|strong="H7604" it|strong="H3808" die|strong="H4191". 9 Eu declarei: Não quero mais saber do ofício de pastor. Pereça o que perecer, morra o que morrer! Os que restarem, que se devorem uns aos outros.
10 And|strong="H5971" I|strong="H3772" took|strong="H3947" my|strong="H3605" staff|strong="H4731", Mercy, and|strong="H5971" broke|strong="H6565" it|strong="H3947", so|strong="H3947" as|strong="H5971" to|strong="H5971" break|strong="H6565" my|strong="H3605" covenant|strong="H1285" which|strong="H5971" I|strong="H3772" had|strong="H5971" made|strong="H3772" with|strong="H1285" all|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" peoples|strong="H5971".
10 Tomando então Benignidade, meu cajado, quebrei-o, rompendo assim o pacto concluído com todos os povos.
11 In|strong="H3068" that|strong="H3588" day|strong="H3117" it|strong="H1931" was|strong="H3068" broken|strong="H6565", and|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" sheep-merchants who|strong="H1931" watched|strong="H8104" me|strong="H8104" knew|strong="H3045" that|strong="H3588" it|strong="H1931" was|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*’s message|strong="H1697".
11 Ele foi quebrado naquele dia e os mercadores de animais que me observavam, perceberam que aquilo indicava um oráculo do Senhor.
12 And|strong="H3701" I|strong="H3808" said to|strong="H5869" them, ‘If it|strong="H3808" is|strong="H2896" good|strong="H2896" in|strong="H3701" your|strong="H3808" sight|strong="H5869", give|strong="H3051" me|strong="H3051" my|strong="H2308" wage|strong="H7939". If not|strong="H3808", don’t.’ So|strong="H3808" they|strong="H3808" weighed|strong="H8254" out|strong="H8254" my|strong="H2308" wage|strong="H7939", thirty|strong="H7970" pieces of|strong="H5869" silver|strong="H3701".
12 Eu disse-lhes: Dai-me o meu salário, se o julgais bem, ou então retende-o! Eles pagaram-me apenas trinta moedas de prata pelo meu salário.

So|strong="H3947" I|strong="H5921" took|strong="H3947" the|strong="H5921" thirty|strong="H7970" pieces of|strong="H1004" silver|strong="H3701" and|strong="H3068" cast|strong="H7993" them|strong="H5921" into|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" house|strong="H1004" of|strong="H1004" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*, into|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" treasury|strong="H1004".
13 O Senhor disse-me: Lança esse dinheiro no tesouro, esta bela soma, na qual estimaram os teus serviços. Tomei as trinta moedas de prata e lancei-as no tesouro da casa do Senhor.
14 Then|strong="H3063" I|strong="H3478" broke|strong="H6565" my|strong="H6565" second|strong="H8145" staff|strong="H4731" called Union so as|strong="H3063" to|strong="H3478" dissolve the|strong="H6565" brotherhood between Judah|strong="H3063" and|strong="H3063" Jerusalem.
14 Depois tomei o meu cajado Liame e quebrei-o, rompendo assim o pacto de fraternidade entre Judá e Israel.
15 And|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3947" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* said to|strong="H3068" me|strong="H3947": Take|strong="H3947" again|strong="H5750" the|strong="H3947" implements|strong="H3627" of|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" worthless shepherd|strong="H7462".
15 O Senhor disse-me: Aparelha-te agora como um mau pastor.
16 For|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" am|strong="H6485" about|strong="H2009" to|strong="H1245" appoint|strong="H6485" a|strong="H3068" shepherd|strong="H7462" over|strong="H6965" the|strong="H3588" land. 16 Estou pronto a suscitar nesta terra um pastor que não terá cuidado das ovelhas que perecem, não buscará as que se desgarram, não curará a que for ferida, nem alimentará a sã; mas comerá a carne das melhores e lhes arrancará as unhas.
17 Woe|strong="H1945" to|strong="H5921" my|strong="H5921" worthless shepherd|strong="H7473", who|strong="H1945" deserts the|strong="H5921" flock|strong="H6629"!
17 Ai do mau pastor que abandona o seu rebanho! Que a espada fira o seu braço e o seu olho direito! Que seque seu braço e seja coberto de trevas o seu olho direito!
