1 Quando, enfim, abriu o sétimo selo, fez-se silêncio no céu cerca de meia hora.
2 Then|strong="G2532" I|strong="G3739" saw|strong="G3708" the|strong="G2532" seven|strong="G2033" angels who|strong="G3739" stand|strong="G2476" before|strong="G1799" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" seven|strong="G2033" trumpets|strong="G4536" were|strong="G3588" given|strong="G1325" to|strong="G2532" them|strong="G3588".
2 Eu vi os sete Anjos que assistem diante de Deus. Foram-lhes dadas sete trombetas.

3 Adiantou-se outro anjo e pôs-se junto ao altar, com um turíbulo de ouro na mão. Foram-lhe dados muitos perfumes, para que os oferecesse com as orações de todos os santos no altar de ouro, que está adiante do trono.

4 A fumaça dos perfumes subiu da mão do anjo com as orações dos santos, diante de Deus.

5 Depois disso, o anjo tomou o turíbulo, encheu-o de brasas do altar e lançou-o por terra; e houve trovões, vozes, relâmpagos e terremotos.

6 Então os sete Anjos, que tinham as trombetas, prepararam-se para tocar.
7 The|strong="G1722" first|strong="G4413" blew|strong="G4537"; and|strong="G2532" there|strong="G2532" came|strong="G1096" hail|strong="G5464" and|strong="G2532" fire|strong="G4442" mixed|strong="G3396" with|strong="G1722" blood, and|strong="G2532" it|strong="G2532" fell|strong="G1096" on|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" earth|strong="G1093". A|strong="G1096" third|strong="G5154" part|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" earth|strong="G1093" was|strong="G1096" burnt|strong="G2532" up|strong="G1519", and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G1096" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" trees|strong="G1186", and|strong="G2532" every|strong="G3956" blade|strong="G5528" of|strong="G2532" grass|strong="G5528".
7 O primeiro anjo tocou. Saraiva e fogo, misturados com sangue, foram lançados à terra; e queimou-se uma terça parte da terra, uma terça parte das árvores e toda erva verde.

8 O segundo anjo tocou. Caiu então no mar como que grande montanha, ardendo em fogo, e transformou-se em sangue uma terça parte do mar,

It|strong="G2532" fell|strong="G4098" on|strong="G1909" a|strong="G5613" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" rivers|strong="G4215" and|strong="G2532" on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" springs|strong="G4077".
10 O terceiro anjo tocou a trombeta. Caiu então do céu uma grande estrela a arder como um facho; caiu sobre a terça parte dos rios e sobre as fontes.
11 (The|strong="G2532" star is|strong="G3588" called|strong="G3004" “Wormwood|strong="G4183".”) A|strong="G1096" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" water|strong="G5204" became|strong="G1096" bitter|strong="G4087" as|strong="G1519" wormwood|strong="G4183", and|strong="G2532" so|strong="G2532" bitter|strong="G4087" was|strong="G1096" the|strong="G2532" water|strong="G5204" that|strong="G3754" many|strong="G4183" died|strong="G3588" from|strong="G1537" drinking it|strong="G2532".
11 O nome da estrela era Absinto. Assim, uma terça parte das águas transformou-se em absinto e muitos homens morreram por ter bebido dessas águas envenenadas.
12 Then|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" fourth|strong="G5067" angel blew|strong="G4537"; and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2250" the|strong="G2532" sun|strong="G2246" and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2250" the|strong="G2532" moon|strong="G4582" and|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2250" the|strong="G2532" stars were|strong="G3588" blasted, so|strong="G2443" that|strong="G2443" a|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2250" them|strong="G3588" was|strong="G3588" eclipsed, and|strong="G2532" for|strong="G2532" a|strong="G2532" third|strong="G5154" part|strong="G5154" of|strong="G2250" the|strong="G2532" day|strong="G2250" there|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" no|strong="G3361" light|strong="G5316", and|strong="G2532" at|strong="G2250" night|strong="G3571" it|strong="G2532" was|strong="G3588" the|strong="G2532" same|strong="G3668".
12 O quarto anjo tocou. Foi atingida então uma terça parte do sol, da lua e das estrelas, de modo que se obscureceram em um terço; e o dia perdeu um terço da claridade, bem como a noite.
13 And|strong="G2532", in|strong="G1722" my|strong="G3708" vision, I|strong="G2532" heard an|strong="G2532" eagle flying|strong="G4072" in|strong="G1722" mid-heaven and|strong="G2532" crying in|strong="G1722" a|strong="G2532" loud|strong="G3173" voice|strong="G5456" – “Woe|strong="G3759", woe|strong="G3759", woe|strong="G3759" for|strong="G1909" all|strong="G2532" who|strong="G3588" live|strong="G2730" on|strong="G1909" the|strong="G1722" earth|strong="G1093", at|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" other|strong="G3062" trumpet-blasts of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G1722" three|strong="G5140" angels who|strong="G3588" have|strong="G2532" yet|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" blow|strong="G4537".”
13 A esta altura de minha visão, eu ouvi uma águia que voava pelo meio dos céus, clamando em alta voz: Ai, ai, ai dos habitantes da terra, por causa dos restantes sons das trombetas dos três Anjos que ainda vão tocar.
