1 This|strong="H3541" is|strong="H2009" what|strong="H3541" the|strong="H7200" Lord|strong="H3069" \+w God|strong="H3069"\+w* showed|strong="H7200" me|strong="H7200": he|strong="H3541" was|strong="H4428" forming|strong="H3335" a|strong="H3068" swarm of|strong="H4428" locusts|strong="H1462", when|strong="H7200" the|strong="H7200" late spring|strong="H5927" grass began|strong="H8462" to|strong="H5927" come|strong="H5927" up|strong="H5927" after|strong="H5927" the|strong="H7200" king|strong="H4428"’s share had|strong="H4428" been|strong="H5927" harvested.
1 O Senhor Deus assim me fez ver: e eis que ele formava gafanhotos no princípio do rebentar da erva serôdia, e eis que era a erva serôdia depois da segada do rei.
2 And|strong="H6965" when|strong="H3588" they|strong="H3588" had|strong="H1961" finished|strong="H3615" devouring all|strong="H6996" the|strong="H3588" land’s vegetation|strong="H6212", I|strong="H3588" said:
2 E quando eles tinham comido completamente a erva da terra, eu disse: Senhor Deus, perdoa, peço-te; como subsistirá Jacó? pois ele é pequeno.

4 Assim me mostrou o Senhor Deus: eis que o Senhor Deus ordenava que por meio do fogo se decidisse o pleito; o fogo, pois, consumiu o grande abismo, e também queria consumir a terra.
5 ‘Lord|strong="H3069" \+w God|strong="H3069"\+w*, forgive, I|strong="H3588" beg|strong="H4994" you|strong="H3588"!
5 Então eu disse: Senhor Deus, cessa agora; como subsistirá Jacó? pois ele é pequeno.
6 The|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* relented|strong="H5162". ‘This|strong="H2063" will|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" happen|strong="H1961" either|strong="H1571",’ said the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*.
6 Também disso se arrependeu o Senhor. Nem isso acontecerá, disse o Senhor Deus.

7 Mostrou-me também assim: eis que o senhor estava junto a um muro levantado a prumo, e tinha um prumo na mão.

9 Mas os altos de Isaque serão assolados, e destruídos os santuários de Israel; e levantar-me-ei com a espada contra a casa de Jeroboão.
10 Then|strong="H7971" Amaziah, chief|strong="H3478" priest|strong="H3548" of|strong="H4428" Bethel|strong="H1008" sent|strong="H7971" this|strong="H1697" message|strong="H1697" to|strong="H3478" King|strong="H4428" Jeroboam|strong="H3379" of|strong="H4428" Israel|strong="H3478": ‘Amos|strong="H5986" has|strong="H3478" conspired|strong="H7194" against|strong="H5921" you|strong="H3605" right|strong="H3478" in|strong="H5921" the|strong="H3605" heart|strong="H7130" of|strong="H4428" Israel|strong="H3478". The|strong="H3605" country cannot|strong="H3808" survive|strong="H3557" all|strong="H3605" his|strong="H3605" words|strong="H1697".
10 Então Amazias, o sacerdote de Betel, mandou dizer a Jeroboão, rei de Israel: Amós tem conspirado contra ti no meio da casa de Israel; a terra não poderá suportar todas as suas palavras.

11 Pois assim diz Amós: Jeroboão morrerá à espada, e Israel certamente será levado cativo para fora da sua terra.
12 And|strong="H3063" Amaziah said to|strong="H3212" Amos|strong="H5986", ‘Leave, you|strong="H3212" who|strong="H3063" see|strong="H2374" visions, go|strong="H3212" to|strong="H3212" the|strong="H8033" land of|strong="H3899" Judah|strong="H3063". Earn your|strong="H8033" bread|strong="H3899" there|strong="H8033" and|strong="H3063" prophesy|strong="H5012" there|strong="H8033",
12 Depois Amazias disse a Amós: Vai-te, ó vidente, foge para a terra de Judá, e ali come o pão, e ali profetiza;
13 but|strong="H3588" don’t prophesy|strong="H5012" any|strong="H5750" more|strong="H3254" at|strong="H1004" Bethel|strong="H1008", for|strong="H3588" it|strong="H1931" is|strong="H1931" the|strong="H3588" king|strong="H4428"’s sanctuary|strong="H4720", and|strong="H4428" it|strong="H1931" is|strong="H1931" the|strong="H3588" royal|strong="H4428" residence|strong="H1004".’
13 mas em Betel daqui por diante não profetizarás mais, porque é o santuário do rei, e é templo do reino.

14 E respondeu Amós, e disse a Amazias: Eu não sou profeta, nem filho de profeta, mas boieiro, e cultivador de sicômoros.
15 But|strong="H3947" the|strong="H3947" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* took|strong="H3947" me|strong="H3947" away|strong="H3947" from|strong="H3478" following|strong="H3212" the|strong="H3947" flock|strong="H6629", and|strong="H3478" the|strong="H3947" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* said to|strong="H3478" me|strong="H3947", “Go|strong="H3212", prophesy|strong="H5012" to|strong="H3478" my|strong="H3068" people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478".”
15 Mas o Senhor me tirou de após o gado, e o Senhor me disse: Vai, profetiza ao meu povo Israel.
16 Now|strong="H6258" therefore|strong="H5921" listen|strong="H8085" to|strong="H3478" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*’s message|strong="H1697":
16 Agora, pois, ouve a palavra do Senhor: Tu dizes: Não profetizes contra Israel, nem fales contra a casa de Isaque.
17 But|strong="H3651" the|strong="H5921" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* says|strong="H3541":
17 Portanto assim diz o Senhor: Tua mulher se prostituirá na cidade, e teus filhos e tuas filhas cairão à espada, e a tua terra será repartida a cordel; e tu morrerás numa terra imunda, e Israel certamente será levado cativo para fora da sua terra.
