GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs BKJ
1 The heads of the households whose families were descended from Gilead, son of Machir and grandson of Manasseh, (families of Joseph’s descendants) came and spoke to Moses and the leaders of the other Israelite households.
1 E os chefes dos pais da família dos filhos de Gileade, filho de Maquir, filho de Manassés, das famílias dos filhos de José, se aproximaram e falaram diante de Moisés, e diante dos príncipes, chefes das casas paternas dos filhos de Israel.
2 They said, “Sir, the Lord commanded you to give the Israelites their land by drawing lots. The Lord also commanded you to give the land of our relative Zelophehad to his daughters.
2 E disseram: O SENHOR ordenou que por sorte, o meu senhor desse a terra por herança aos filhos de Israel; e o meu senhor recebeu a ordem do SENHOR, para que a herança de Zelofeade, nosso irmão, fosse dada às suas filhas.
3 Suppose they marry men from the other tribes of Israel. Their land will be taken away from that of our ancestors and added to the land of the tribe they marry into. Then we will have lost part of our land.
3 E se elas se casarem com alguns dos filhos das outras tribos dos filhos de Israel, então a sua herança será tomada da herança de nossos pais, e será acrescentada à herança da tribo em que elas forem recebidas; assim se tirará da sorte da nossa herança.
4 When the Israelites’ jubilee year comes, their land will be added to that of the tribe they married into. Then part of the land of our ancestors’ tribe will be gone.”
4 E quando chegar o jubileu dos filhos de Israel, então a sua herança se acrescentará à herança da tribo em que elas forem recebidas; assim a sua herança será tirada da herança da tribo de nossos pais.
5 So Moses gave the Israelites a command from the Lord. “The tribe of Joseph’s descendants is right.
5 E Moisés ordenou aos filhos de Israel, segundo a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo: A tribo dos filhos de José disse bem.
6 This is what the Lord commands for Zelophehad’s daughters: They may marry anyone they want to, but only within a family of their ancestor’s tribe.
6 Isto é o que o SENHOR ordenou, a respeito das filhas de Zelofeade, dizendo: Que se casem com quem acharem melhor, porém que se casem na família da tribo de seu pai.
7 In this way no land of the Israelites will pass from one tribe to another. Every Israelite must keep the tribal land inherited from his ancestors.
7 Assim, a herança dos filhos de Israel não passará de tribo em tribo; porquanto, cada um dos filhos de Israel se manterá na herança da tribo de seus pais.
8 A woman who inherits land in any of the tribes of Israel may marry a man from any family in her ancestor’s tribe. In this way every Israelite keeps the land inherited from his ancestors.
8 E toda filha que possuir alguma herança, em qualquer tribo dos filhos de Israel, se casará com um da família da tribo de seu pai, para que os filhos de Israel possuam cada homem, a herança de seus pais.
9 No land may pass from one tribe to another. Each Israelite tribe must keep the land it inherits.”
9 A herança não passará de uma tribo a outra; mas cada tribo dos filhos de Israel se manterá na sua própria herança.
10 Zelophehad’s daughters did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10 Como o SENHOR ordenara a Moisés, assim fizeram as filhas de Zelofeade.
11 Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah married their cousins on their father’s side of the family.
11 Porque Macla, e Tirza, e Hogla, e Milca, e Noa, as filhas de Zelofeade, se casaram com os filhos dos irmãos de seus pais.
12 They married within the families of the descendants of Manasseh, son of Joseph. So their land stayed in the tribe of their father’s family.
12 E elas foram esposas nas famílias dos filhos de Manassés, filho de José, e a sua herança permaneceu na tribo da família de seu pai.
13 These are the commands and rules the Lord gave the Israelites through Moses on the plains of Moab near the Jordan River across from Jericho.
13 Estes são os mandamentos e os juízos que o SENHOR ordenou, pela mão de Moisés, aos filhos de Israel, nas planícies de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, perto de Jericó.
