GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ARIB
1 The chief priest Eliashib and his relatives, the priests, started by rebuilding Sheep Gate. They dedicated it and set its doors in place. They rebuilt as far as the Tower of the Hundred, which they dedicated, and then as far as the Tower of Hananel.
1 Então se levantou Eliasibe, o sumo sacerdote, juntamente com os seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e edificaram a porta das ovelhas, a qual consagraram, e lhe assentaram os batentes. Consagraram-na até a torre dos cem, até a torre de Henanel.
2 The men from Jericho were rebuilding next to Eliashib. Zaccur, son of Imri, was next to them.
2 E junto a ele edificaram os homens de Jericó; também ao lado destes edificou Zacur, o filho de Inri.
3 The sons of Hassenaah rebuilt Fish Gate. They laid its beams and set its doors, locks, and bars in place.
3 Os filhos de Hassenaá edificaram a porta dos peixes, colocaram-lhe as vigas, e lhe assentaram os batentes, com seus ferrolhos e trancas.
4 Next to them Meremoth, son of Uriah and grandson of Hakkoz, made repairs. Next to them Meshullam, son of Berechiah and grandson of Meshezabel, made repairs. Next to them Zadok, son of Baana, made repairs.
4 Ao seu lado fez os reparos Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Hacoz; ao seu lado Mesulão, filho de Berequias, filho de Mesezabel; ao seu lado Zadoque, filho de Baaná;
5 Next to them the men from Tekoa made repairs. However, the nobles wouldn’t lower themselves to work under supervisors.
5 ao lado destes repararam os tecoítas; porém os seus nobres não meteram o pescoço os serviço do Senhor.
6 Joiada, Paseah’s son, and Meshullam, Besodeiah’s son, made repairs on Old Gate. They laid its beams and set its doors, locks, and bars in place.
6 Joiada, filho de Paséia, e Mesulão, filho de Besodéias, repararam a porta velha, colocaram-lhe as vigas, e lhe assentaram os batentes com seus ferrolhos e trancas.
7 Next to them Melatiah from Gibeon and Jadon from Meronoth, with men from Gibeon and Mizpah, made repairs on the wall. They did this under the authority of the governor ⌞from the province⌟ west of the Euphrates River.
7 Junto deles fizeram os reparos Melatias, o gibeonita, e Jadom, o meronotita, homens de Gibeão e de Mizpá, que pertenciam ao domínio do governador dalém do Rio;
8 Next to them Uzziel, Harhaiah’s son, a goldsmith, made repairs. Next to him Hananiah, a perfume maker, made repairs. They left out part of Jerusalem as far as Broad Wall.
8 ao seu lado Uziel, filho de Haraías, um dos ourives; ao lado dele Hananias, um dos perfumistas; e fortificaram Jerusalém até o muro largo.
9 Next to them Rephaiah, Hur’s son, an official in charge of half a district of Jerusalem, made repairs.
9 Ao seu lado fez os reparos Refaías, filho de Hur, governador da metade do distrito de Jerusalém;
10 Next to them Jedaiah, Harumaph’s son, made repairs across from his own home. Next to them Hattush, Hashabneiah’s son, made repairs.
10 ao seu lado Jedaías, filho de Harumafe, defronte de sua casa; ao seu lado Hatus, filho de Hasabnéias.
11 Malchiah, Harim’s son, and Hasshub, Pahath Moab’s son, made repairs on a section that included the Tower of the Ovens.
11 Malquias, filho de Harim, e Hassube, filho de Paate-Moabe, repararam outra parte, como também a torre dos fornos;
12 Next to them Shallum, Hallohesh’s son, an official in charge of half a district of Jerusalem, made repairs with the help of his daughters.
12 e ao seu lado Salum, filho de Haloés, governador da outra metade do distrito de Jerusalém, ele e as suas filhas.
13 Hanun and the people of Zanoah repaired Valley Gate. They rebuilt it and set its doors, locks, and bars in place, and they repaired 1,500 feet of the wall, as far as Dung Gate.
13 A porta do vale, repararam-na Hanum e os moradores de Zanoa; estes a edificaram, e lhe assentaram os batentes, com seus ferrolhos e trancas, como também mil côvados de muro até a porto do monturo.
14 Dung Gate itself was repaired by Malchiah, Rechab’s son, the official in charge of the district of Beth Hakkerem. He rebuilt it and set its doors, locks, and bars in place.
14 A porta do monturo, reparou-a Malquias, filho de Recabe, governador do distrito Bete-Haquerem; este a edificou, e lhe assentou os batentes com seus ferrolhos e trancas.
15 Shallun, Col Hozeh’s son, the official in charge of the district of Mizpah, repaired Fountain Gate. He rebuilt it, put a roof over it, and set its doors, locks, and bars in place. He also made repairs on the wall of the Pool of Shelah by the King’s Garden as far as the stairs going down from the City of David.
15 A porta da fonte, reparou-a Salum, filho de Col-Hoze, governador do distrito de Mizpá; edificou-a e a cobriu, e lhe assentou os batentes, com seus ferrolhos e trancas; edificou também o muro da piscina de Selá, do jardim do rei, até os degraus que descem da cidade de Davi.
16 After him Nehemiah, Azbuk’s son, the official in charge of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs all the way to a point across from the tombs of David as far as the pool and the soldiers’ barracks.
16 Depois dele Neemias, filho de Azbuque, governador da metade do distrito de Bete-Zur, fez os reparos até defronte dos sepulcros de Davi, até a piscina artificial, e até a casa dos homens poderosos.
17 After him the Levites, including Rehum (Bani’s son), made repairs. Next to him Hashabiah, the official in charge of half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district.
17 Depois dele fizeram os reparos os levitas: Reum, filho de Bani, e ao seu lado, Hasabias, governador da metade do distrito de Queila, por seu distrito;
18 After him their relatives made repairs. This included Binnui, Henadad’s son, the official in charge of half the district of Keilah.
18 depois dele seus irmãos, Bavai, filho de Henadade, governador da outra metade do distrito de Queila.
19 Next to him Ezer, Jeshua’s son, the official in charge of Mizpah, repaired a section across from the ascent to the Armory at the Angle.
19 Ao seu lado Ézer, filho de Jesuá, governador de Mizpá, reparou outra parte, defronte da subida para a casa das armas, no ângulo.
20 After him Baruch, Zabbai’s son, made repairs on a section from the Angle to the door of the house of the chief priest Eliashib.
20 Depois dele reparou Baruque, filho de Zabai, outra parte, desde o ângulo até a porta da casa de Eliasibe, o sumo sacerdote.
21 After him Meremoth, son of Uriah and grandson of Hakkoz, made repairs on a section from the door of Eliashib’s house to the end of Eliashib’s house.
21 Depois dele reparou Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Hacoz, outra parte, deste a porta da casa de Eliasibe até a extremidade da mesma.
22 After him the priests who lived in that area made repairs.
22 Depois dele fizeram os reparos os sacerdotes que habitavam na campina;
23 After them Benjamin and Hasshub made repairs across from their own homes. After them Azariah, son of Maaseiah and grandson of Ananiah, made repairs next to his home.
23 depois Benjamim e Hassube, defronte da sua casa; depois deles Azarias, filho de Maaséias, filho de Ananias, junto à sua casa.
24 After him Binnui, Henadad’s son, made repairs on a section from Azariah’s home to the Angle and to the corner of the wall.
24 Depois dele reparou Binuí, filho de Henadade, outra porte, desde a casa de Azarias até o ângulo e até a esquina.
25 Palal, Uzai’s son, made repairs across from the Angle and the upper tower that projects from the king’s palace to the guards’ courtyard. After him Pedaiah, Parosh’s son,
25 Palal, filho de Uzai, reparou defronte do ângulo, e a torre que se projeta da casa real superior, que está junto ao átrio da guarda; depois dele Pedaías, filho de Parós.
26 and the temple servants who were living on the Ophel made repairs on the wall as far as a point across from Water Gate toward the east and the projecting tower.
26 {Ora, os netinins habitavam em Ofel, até defronte da porta das águas, para o oriente, e até a torre que se projeta.}
27 After him the men from Tekoa repaired a section across from the large projecting tower as far as the Wall of the Ophel.
27 Depois repararam os tecoítas outra parte, defronte da grande torre que se projeta, e até o muro de Ofel.
28 Above Horse Gate the priests made repairs. Each priest made repairs across from his own home.
28 Para cima da porta dos cavalos fizeram os reparos os sacerdotes, cada um defronte da sua casa;
29 After them Zadok, Immer’s son, made repairs across from his own home. After him Shemaiah, Shecaniah’s son, the guard at East Gate, made repairs.
29 depois dele Zadoque, filho de Imer, defronte de sua casa; e depois dele Semaías, filho de Secanias, guarda da porta oriental.
30 After him Hananiah, Shelemiah’s son, and Hanun, Zalaph’s sixth son, repaired another section. After him Meshullam, Berechiah’s son, made repairs across from his living quarters.
30 Depois dele repararam outra parte Hananias, filho de Selemias, e Hanum, o sexto filho de Zalafe. Depois dele reparou Mesulão, filho de Berequias, uma parte defronte da sua câmara.
31 After him Malchiah, one of the goldsmiths, made repairs as far as the building that housed the temple servants and merchants across from Inspection Gate and as far as the upper room at the corner.
31 Depois dele reparou Malquias, um dos ourives, uma parte até a casa dos netinins e dos mercadores, defronte da porta da guarda, e até a câmara superior da esquina.
32 The goldsmiths and merchants made repairs between the upper room at the corner and Sheep Gate.
32 E entre a câmara da esquina e a porta das ovelhas repararam os ourives e os mercadores.
