GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ARA
1 The Lord spoke to Moses after Aaron’s two sons had come into the Lord’s presence and died.
1 Falou o Senhor a Moisés, depois que morreram os dois filhos de Arão, tendo chegado aqueles diante do Senhor .
2 The Lord said, “Tell your brother Aaron that he cannot go into the holy place whenever he wants to. If he goes up to the canopy and stands in front of the throne of mercy on the ark, he will die, because I appear in the smoke above the throne of mercy.
2 Então, disse o Senhor a Moisés: Dize a Arão, teu irmão, que não entre no santuário em todo tempo, para dentro do véu, diante do propiciatório que está sobre a arca, para que não morra; porque aparecerei na nuvem sobre o propiciatório.
3 “This is what Aaron must do in order to come into the holy place: He must take a bull as an offering for sin and a ram as a burnt offering.
3 Entrará Arão no santuário com isto: um novilho, para oferta pelo pecado, e um carneiro, para holocausto.
4 He must put on a holy linen robe and wear linen undergarments. He must wear a linen belt and turban. These are holy clothes. He must wash his body and put them on.
4 Vestirá ele a túnica de linho, sagrada, terá as calças de linho sobre a pele, cingir-se-á com o cinto de linho e se cobrirá com a mitra de linho; são estas as vestes sagradas. Banhará o seu corpo em água e, então, as vestirá.
5 He will take two male goats from the congregation of Israel as an offering for sin and a ram as a burnt offering.
5 Da congregação dos filhos de Israel tomará dois bodes, para a oferta pelo pecado, e um carneiro, para holocausto.
6 “Aaron must sacrifice the bull as his own offering for sin. By doing this, he will make peace with the Lord for himself and his family.
6 Arão trará o novilho da sua oferta pelo pecado e fará expiação por si e pela sua casa.
7 He must take the two male goats and bring them into the Lord’s presence at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
7 Também tomará ambos os bodes e os porá perante o Senhor , à porta da tenda da congregação.
8 Then Aaron must throw lots for the two goats. One lot will be for the Lord and the other for Azazel.
8 Lançará sortes sobre os dois bodes: uma, para o Senhor , e a outra, para o bode emissário.
9 Aaron must sacrifice the goat chosen by lot for the Lord as an offering for sin.
9 Arão fará chegar o bode sobre o qual cair a sorte para o Senhor e o oferecerá por oferta pelo pecado.
10 But he must bring the goat chosen by lot for Azazel into the Lord’s presence. He will release it in the desert to Azazel in order to make peace with the Lord for himself and his family.
10 Mas o bode sobre que cair a sorte para bode emissário será apresentado vivo perante o Senhor , para fazer expiação por meio dele e enviá-lo ao deserto como bode emissário.
11 “Aaron will bring the bull. He will then slaughter it as his own offering for sin. By doing this he will make peace with the Lord for himself and his family.
11 Arão fará chegar o novilho da sua oferta pelo pecado e fará expiação por si e pela sua casa; imolará o novilho da sua oferta pelo pecado.
12 He will take an incense burner full of burning coals from the altar, which is in the Lord’s presence, and two handfuls of finely ground, sweet-smelling incense. He will bring them up to the canopy.
12 Tomará também, de sobre o altar, o incensário cheio de brasas de fogo, diante do Senhor , e dois punhados de incenso aromático bem moído e o trará para dentro do véu.
13 Then he will put the incense on the fire in the Lord’s presence. The cloud of incense will cover the throne of mercy, which is over the words of God’s promise, so that he will not die.
13 Porá o incenso sobre o fogo, perante o Senhor , para que a nuvem do incenso cubra o propiciatório, que está sobre o Testemunho, para que não morra.
14 He will take some of the bull’s blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the east side of the throne of mercy. Then he will sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times in front of the throne of mercy.
14 Tomará do sangue do novilho e, com o dedo, o aspergirá sobre a frente do propiciatório; e, diante do propiciatório, aspergirá sete vezes do sangue, com o dedo.
15 “Next, Aaron will slaughter the goat for the people’s offering for sin. He will take the blood inside, go up to the canopy, and sprinkle it on the throne of mercy and in front of it, as he did with the bull’s blood.
15 Depois, imolará o bode da oferta pelo pecado, que será para o povo, e trará o seu sangue para dentro do véu; e fará com o seu sangue como fez com o sangue do novilho; aspergi-lo-á no propiciatório e também diante dele.
16 So he will make peace with the Lord for all the sins the Israelites committed against the holy place. These sins happened because the Israelites were unclean and because they committed rebellious acts. He will do the same for the tent of meeting which is among an unclean people.
16 Assim, fará expiação pelo santuário por causa das impurezas dos filhos de Israel, e das suas transgressões, e de todos os seus pecados. Da mesma sorte, fará pela tenda da congregação, que está com eles no meio das suas impurezas.
17 No one may be in the tent of meeting from the time Aaron enters the holy place to do this until he comes out. Aaron will make peace with the Lord for his own sins, his family’s sins, and the sins of the entire assembly of Israel.
17 Nenhum homem estará na tenda da congregação quando ele entrar para fazer propiciação no santuário, até que ele saia depois de feita a expiação por si mesmo, e pela sua casa, e por toda a congregação de Israel.
18 Then he will go out to the altar that is in the Lord’s presence and make peace with the Lord there for the sins committed. He will take some of the blood from the bull and some of the goat’s blood and put it all around the horns of the altar.
18 Então, sairá ao altar, que está perante o Senhor , e fará expiação por ele. Tomará do sangue do novilho e do sangue do bode e o porá sobre os chifres do altar, ao redor.
19 With his finger he will sprinkle some of the blood on it seven times. Because the Israelites made it unclean, he will cleanse it and declare it holy.
19 Do sangue aspergirá, com o dedo, sete vezes sobre o altar, e o purificará, e o santificará das impurezas dos filhos de Israel.
20 “When he finishes making peace with the Lord at the holy place, the tent of meeting, and the altar, he will bring the living goat forward.
20 Havendo, pois, acabado de fazer expiação pelo santuário, pela tenda da congregação e pelo altar, então, fará chegar o bode vivo.
21 Aaron will place both hands on its head. He will confess over it all the sins, all the rebellious acts, and all the things the Israelites did wrong. He will transfer them to the goat’s head. A man will be appointed to release the goat in the desert.
21 Arão porá ambas as mãos sobre a cabeça do bode vivo e sobre ele confessará todas as iniquidades dos filhos de Israel, todas as suas transgressões e todos os seus pecados; e os porá sobre a cabeça do bode e enviá-lo-á ao deserto, pela mão de um homem à disposição para isso.
22 The goat will take all their sins away to a deserted place. The man must release the goat in the desert.
22 Assim, aquele bode levará sobre si todas as iniquidades deles para terra solitária; e o homem soltará o bode no deserto.
23 “Then Aaron will go to the tent of meeting, take off the linen clothes he had put on to go into the holy place, and leave them there.
23 Depois, Arão virá à tenda da congregação, e despirá as vestes de linho, que havia usado quando entrara no santuário, e ali as deixará.
24 He will wash his body in the holy place and put on his other clothes. Then he will come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself and for the people to make peace with the Lord for his own sins and the sins of the people.
24 Banhará o seu corpo em água no lugar santo e porá as suas vestes; então, sairá, e oferecerá o seu holocausto e o holocausto do povo, e fará expiação por si e pelo povo.
25 He will burn the fat of the offering for sin on the altar.
25 Também queimará a gordura da oferta pelo pecado sobre o altar.
26 “The man who released the goat to Azazel must wash his clothes and his body. Then he may return to the camp.
26 E aquele que tiver levado o bode emissário lavará as suas vestes, banhará o seu corpo em água e, depois, entrará no arraial.
27 He must take the bull and the goat outside the camp. These animals were the offering for sin whose blood was brought into the holy place to make peace with the Lord for sins. The skin, meat, and excrement from the animals must be burned.
27 Mas o novilho e o bode da oferta pelo pecado, cujo sangue foi trazido para fazer expiação no santuário, serão levados fora do arraial; porém as suas peles, a sua carne e o seu excremento se queimarão.
28 Whoever burns them must wash his clothes and his body. Then he may return to the camp.
28 Aquele que o queimar lavará as suas vestes, banhará o seu corpo em água e, depois, entrará no arraial.
29 “This will be a permanent law for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month both native Israelites and foreigners must humble themselves. They must do no work.
29 Isso vos será por estatuto perpétuo: no sétimo mês, aos dez dias do mês, afligireis a vossa alma e nenhuma obra fareis, nem o natural nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós.
30 On this day Aaron will make peace with the Lord to make you clean. Then you will be clean from all your sins in the Lord’s presence.
30 Porque, naquele dia, se fará expiação por vós, para purificar-vos; e sereis purificados de todos os vossos pecados, perante o Senhor .
31 This is the most important worship festival there is for you. You will humble yourselves. It is a permanent law.
31 É sábado de descanso solene para vós outros, e afligireis a vossa alma; é estatuto perpétuo.
32 The priest who is anointed and ordained to serve as chief priest in his father’s place will pay for sins. He will put on the holy linen clothes
32 Quem for ungido e consagrado para oficiar como sacerdote no lugar de seu pai fará a expiação, havendo posto as vestes de linho, as vestes santas;
33 and will make peace with the Lord at the holy place, the tent of meeting, and the altar. He will make peace with the Lord for the priests and all the worshipers.
33 fará expiação pelo santuário, pela tenda da congregação e pelo altar; também a fará pelos sacerdotes e por todo o povo da congregação.
34 “This permanent law tells you how to make peace with the Lord once a year for all the sins the Israelites committed.”
34 Isto vos será por estatuto perpétuo, para fazer expiação uma vez por ano pelos filhos de Israel, por causa dos seus pecados. E fez Arão como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
