GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs BKJ
1 ⌞The \+nd Lord\+nd* said,⌟ “Son of man, take a sharp blade, and use it as a barber’s razor to shave your head and beard. Take scales to weigh your hair and divide it ⌞into three even parts⌟.
1 E tu, filho do homem, toma uma faca afiada, toma uma navalha de barbeiro, e faze-a passar sobre a tua cabeça e sobre a tua barba; então toma uma balança de pesar, e divide o cabelo.
2 When the blockade is over, burn one-third of your hair in a fire in the middle of the city. Take another third, and cut it up with a blade around the city. Then scatter the remaining third to the wind, and I will draw a sword and go after it.
2 Tu queimarás com fogo uma terça parte, no meio da cidade, quando os dias do cerco se cumprirem; e tu tomarás uma terça parte, e feri-la-ás ao redor com uma faca; e uma terça parte espalharás ao vento; e eu desembainharei uma espada atrás deles.
3 Take a few strands of hair, and wrap them in the hem of your clothes.
3 Tu também tomarás dali um pequeno número, e atá-los-ás às tuas saias.
4 Later, take some of them, and throw them in a fire and burn them up. From there a fire will spread throughout the whole nation of Israel.
4 Então, toma deles novamente e lança-os no meio do fogo, e queima-os no fogo; pois dali sairá um fogo que entrará em toda a casa de Israel.
5 “This is what the Almighty Lord says: This is Jerusalem! I have placed it in the center of the nations with countries all around it.
5 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Esta é Jerusalém; eu a coloquei no meio das nações e das terras que estão ao redor dela.
6 The people of Jerusalem have rebelled against my rules and my laws more than the surrounding nations. They have rejected my rules, and they don’t live by my laws.
6 E ela mudou os meus juízos em perversidade, mais do que as nações, e os meus estatutos mais do que os países que estão ao redor dela; porque rejeitaram os meus juízos e os meus estatutos, e não andaram neles.
7 “So this is what the Almighty Lord says: ⌞People of Jerusalem,⌟ you have caused more trouble than the nations around you. You haven’t lived by my laws or obeyed my rules. You haven’t even lived up to the standards of the nations around you.
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porque multiplicastes mais do que as nações que estão ao redor de vós, e não andastes nos meus estatutos, nem guardastes os meus juízos, nem fizestes de acordo com os juízos das nações que estão ao redor de vós.
8 “So this is what the Almighty Lord says: I, too, am against you, and I will punish you in front of the nations.
8 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu, eu mesmo, estou contra ti; e executarei juízos no meio de ti à vista das nações.
9 Because of all the detestable things that you do, I will do things to you that I have never done before and will never do again.
9 E eu farei contigo o que nunca fiz, nem voltarei a fazer coisa semelhante, por causa de todas as tuas abominações.
10 That is why parents will eat their children, and children will eat their parents. I will punish you and scatter whoever is left to the wind.
10 Portanto, os pais comerão a seus filhos no meio de ti, e os filhos comerão a seus pais; e eu executarei juízos em ti, e a todos os teus remanescentes, eu espalharei a todos os ventos.
11 “As I live, declares the Almighty Lord, because you have dishonored my holy worship place with all your disgusting and detestable things, I will have you killed. I will not have compassion for you or feel sorry for you.
11 Portanto, como eu vivo, diz o Senhor DEUS; certamente, porque tens contaminado o meu santuário com todas as tuas coisas detestáveis, e com todas as tuas abominações, por isso, eu também te diminuirei; nem meu olho poupará, nem terei pena alguma.
12 One-third of you will die in plagues and be devoured in famines. Another third will die in battles against those around you. I will scatter the remaining third to the wind, and I will pursue them with a sword.
12 Uma terça parte de ti morrerá com a peste, e com fome será consumida no meio de ti; e uma terça parte cairá pela espada ao redor de ti; e eu espalharei uma terça parte a todos os ventos, e desembainharei a espada atrás deles.
13 “I will unleash my anger. I will use my fury against you, and I will get revenge. When my fury is unleashed against you, you will know that I, the Lord, spoke to you while I was angry.
13 Assim, minha ira se cumprirá, e eu farei minha fúria descansar sobre eles, e me consolarei; e saberão que eu, o SENHOR, tenho falado isso no meu zelo, quando eu tiver cumprido a minha fúria neles.
14 I will turn you into a wasteland and an object of ridicule among the nations around you and in the presence of everyone who passes by you.
14 Além disso, eu farei de ti lixo e vergonha entre as nações que estão ao redor de ti, à vista de todos os que passarem.
15 The nations that are around you will ridicule you and laugh at you. When I punish you because of my anger, fury, and fierce revenge, you will become something ridiculed and something horrible. I, the Lord, have spoken.
15 Então ele será uma vergonha e um escárnio, uma instrução e um espanto às nações que estão ao redor de ti, quando eu executar juízos em ti, na ira, e na fúria, e com repreensões furiosas. Eu, o SENHOR, tenho falado isso.
16 When I shoot my destructive arrows of famine at you, I will shoot to kill you. I will bring more and more famines into your land, and I will cut off your food supply.
16 Quando eu enviar sobre eles as malignas flechas da fome, que servirão para destruição deles, e as quais eu enviarei para vos destruir; e aumentarei a fome sobre vós, e vos quebrarei o báculo do pão.
17 I will send famines and wild animals against you, and they will rob you of your children. I will send plagues, violence, and wars to kill you. I, the Lord, have spoken.”
17 Assim eu enviarei sobre vós a fome, e animais malignos, e eles te desolarão; e peste e sangue passarão por ti; e trarei a espada sobre ti. Eu, o SENHOR, tenho falado isso.
