GOD'S WORD (ENGGW) vs ACF
1 Brothers and sisters, I’m making known to you the Good News which I already told you, which you received, and on which your faith is based.
1 Também vos notifico, irmãos, o evangelho que já vos tenho anunciado; o qual também recebestes, e no qual também permaneceis.
2 In addition, you are saved by this Good News if you hold on to the doctrine I taught you, unless you believed it without thinking it over.
2 Pelo qual também sois salvos se o retiverdes tal como vo-lo tenho anunciado; se não é que crestes em vão.
3 I passed on to you the most important points of doctrine that I had received:
3 Porque primeiramente vos entreguei o que também recebi: que Cristo morreu por nossos pecados, segundo as Escrituras,
4 He was placed in a tomb.
4 E que foi sepultado, e que ressuscitou ao terceiro dia, segundo as Escrituras.
5 He appeared to Cephas. Next he appeared to the twelve apostles.
5 E que foi visto por Cefas, e depois pelos doze.
6 Then he appeared to more than 500 believers at one time. (Most of these people are still living, but some have died.)
6 Depois foi visto, uma vez, por mais de quinhentos irmãos, dos quais vive ainda a maior parte, mas alguns já dormem também.
7 Next he appeared to James. Then he appeared to all the apostles.
7 Depois foi visto por Tiago, depois por todos os apóstolos.
8 Last of all, he also appeared to me.
8 E por derradeiro de todos me apareceu também a mim, como a um abortivo.
9 I’m the least of the apostles. I’m not even fit to be called an apostle because I persecuted God’s church.
9 Porque eu sou o menor dos apóstolos, que não sou digno de ser chamado apóstolo, pois que persegui a igreja de Deus.
10 But God’s kindness made me what I am, and that kindness was not wasted on me. Instead, I worked harder than all the others. It was not I who did it, but God’s kindness was with me.
10 Mas pela graça de Deus sou o que sou; e a sua graça para comigo não foi vã, antes trabalhei muito mais do que todos eles; todavia não eu, mas a graça de Deus, que está comigo.
11 So, whether it was I or someone else, this is the message we brought you, and this is what you believed.
11 Então, ou seja eu ou sejam eles, assim pregamos e assim haveis crido.
12 If we have told you that Christ has been brought back to life, how can some of you say that coming back from the dead is impossible?
12 Ora, se se prega que Cristo ressuscitou dentre os mortos, como dizem alguns dentre vós que não há ressurreição de mortos?
13 If the dead can’t be brought back to life, then Christ hasn’t come back to life.
13 E, se não há ressurreição de mortos, também Cristo não ressuscitou.
14 If Christ hasn’t come back to life, our message has no meaning and your faith also has no meaning.
14 E, se Cristo não ressuscitou, logo é vã a nossa pregação, e também é vã a vossa fé.
15 In addition, we are obviously witnesses who lied about God because we testified that he brought Christ back to life. But if it’s true that the dead don’t come back to life, then God didn’t bring Christ back to life.
15 E assim somos também considerados como falsas testemunhas de Deus, pois testificamos de Deus, que ressuscitou a Cristo, ao qual, porém, não ressuscitou, se, na verdade, os mortos não ressuscitam.
16 Certainly, if the dead don’t come back to life, then Christ hasn’t come back to life either.
16 Porque, se os mortos não ressuscitam, também Cristo não ressuscitou.
17 If Christ hasn’t come back to life, your faith is worthless and sin still has you in its power.
17 E, se Cristo não ressuscitou, é vã a vossa fé, e ainda permaneceis nos vossos pecados.
18 Then those who have died as believers in Christ no longer exist.
18 E também os que dormiram em Cristo estão perdidos.
19 If Christ is our hope in this life only, we deserve more pity than any other people.
19 Se esperamos em Cristo só nesta vida, somos os mais miseráveis de todos os homens.
20 But now Christ has come back from the dead. He is the very first person of those who have died to come back to life.
20 Mas de fato Cristo ressuscitou dentre os mortos, e foi feito as primícias dos que dormem.
21 Since a man brought death, a man also brought life back from death.
21 Porque assim como a morte veio por um homem, também a ressurreição dos mortos veio por um homem.
22 As everyone dies because of Adam, so also everyone will be made alive because of Christ.
22 Porque, assim como todos morrem em Adão, assim também todos serão vivificados em Cristo.
23 This will happen to each person in his own turn. Christ is the first, then at his coming, those who belong to him ⌞will be made alive⌟.
23 Mas cada um por sua ordem: Cristo as primícias, depois os que são de Cristo, na sua vinda.
24 Then the end will come. Christ will hand over the kingdom to God the Father as he destroys every ruler, authority, and power.
24 Depois virá o fim, quando tiver entregado o reino a Deus, ao Pai, e quando houver aniquilado todo o império, e toda a potestade e força.
25 Christ must rule until God has put every enemy under his control.
25 Porque convém que reine até que haja posto a todos os inimigos debaixo de seus pés.
26 The last enemy he will destroy is death.
26 Ora, o último inimigo que há de ser aniquilado é a morte.
27 Clearly, God has put everything under Christ’s authority. When God says that everything has been put under Christ’s authority, this clearly excludes God, since God has put everything under Christ’s authority.
27 Porque todas as coisas sujeitou debaixo de seus pés. Mas, quando diz que todas as coisas lhe estão sujeitas, claro está que se excetua aquele que lhe sujeitou todas as coisas.
28 But when God puts everything under Christ’s authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, since God had put everything under the Son’s authority. Then God will be in control of everything.
28 E, quando todas as coisas lhe estiverem sujeitas, então também o mesmo Filho se sujeitará àquele que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.
29 However, people are baptized because the dead ⌞will come back to life⌟. What will they do? If the dead can’t come back to life, why do people get baptized as if they can ⌞come back to life⌟?
29 Doutra maneira, que farão os que se batizam pelos mortos, se absolutamente os mortos não ressuscitam? Por que se batizam eles então pelos mortos?
30 Why are we constantly putting ourselves in danger?
30 Por que estamos nós também a toda a hora em perigo?
31 Brothers and sisters, I swear to you on my pride in you which Christ Jesus our Lord has given me: I face death every day.
31 Eu protesto que cada dia morro, gloriando-me em vós, irmãos, por Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
32 If I have fought with wild animals in Ephesus, what have I gained according to the way people look at things? If the dead are not brought back to life, “Let’s eat and drink because tomorrow we’re going to die!”
32 Se, como homem, combati em Éfeso contra as bestas, que me aproveita isso, se os mortos não ressuscitam? Comamos e bebamos, que amanhã morreremos.
33 Don’t let anyone deceive you. Associating with bad people will ruin decent people.
33 Não vos enganeis: as más conversações corrompem os bons costumes.
34 Come back to the right point of view, and stop sinning. Some people don’t know anything about God. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
34 Vigiai justamente e não pequeis; porque alguns ainda não têm o conhecimento de Deus; digo-o para vergonha vossa.
35 But someone will ask, “How do the dead come back to life? With what kind of body will they come back?”
35 Mas alguém dirá: Como ressuscitarão os mortos? E com que corpo virão?
36 You fool! The seed you plant doesn’t come to life unless it dies first.
36 Insensato! o que tu semeias não é vivificado, se primeiro não morrer.
37 What you plant, whether it’s wheat or something else, is only a seed. It doesn’t have the form that the plant will have.
37 E, quando semeias, não semeias o corpo que há de nascer, mas o simples grão, como de trigo, ou de outra qualquer semente.
38 God gives the plant the form he wants it to have. Each kind of seed grows into its own form.
38 Mas Deus dá-lhe o corpo como quer, e a cada semente o seu próprio corpo.
39 Not all flesh is the same. Humans have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds have another, and fish have still another.
39 Nem toda a carne é uma mesma carne, mas uma é a carne dos homens, e outra a carne dos animais, e outra a dos peixes e outra a das aves.
40 There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. Heavenly bodies don’t all have the same splendor, neither do earthly bodies.
40 E há corpos celestes e corpos terrestres, mas uma é a glória dos celestes e outra a dos terrestres.
41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon has another kind of splendor, and the stars have still another kind of splendor. Even one star differs in splendor from another star.
41 Uma é a glória do sol, e outra a glória da lua, e outra a glória das estrelas; porque uma estrela difere em glória de outra estrela.
42 That is how it will be when the dead come back to life. When the body is planted, it decays. When it comes back to life, it cannot decay.
42 Assim também a ressurreição dentre os mortos. Semeia-se o corpo em corrupção; ressuscitará em incorrupção.
43 When the body is planted, it doesn’t have any splendor and is weak. When it comes back to life, it has splendor and is strong.
43 Semeia-se em ignomínia, ressuscitará em glória. Semeia-se em fraqueza, ressuscitará com vigor.
44 It is planted as a physical body. It comes back to life as a spiritual body. As there is a physical body, so there is also a spiritual body.
44 Semeia-se corpo natural, ressuscitará corpo espiritual. Se há corpo natural, há também corpo espiritual.
45 This is what Scripture says: “The first man, Adam, became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
45 Assim está também escrito: O primeiro homem, Adão, foi feito em alma vivente; o último Adão em espírito vivificante.
46 The spiritual does not come first, but the physical and then the spiritual.
46 Mas não é primeiro o espiritual, senão o natural; depois o espiritual.
47 The first man was made from the dust of the earth. He came from the earth. The second man came from heaven.
47 O primeiro homem, da terra, é terreno; o segundo homem, o Senhor, é do céu.
48 The people on earth are like the man who was made from the dust of the earth. The people in heaven are like the man who came from heaven.
48 Qual o terreno, tais são também os terrestres; e, qual o celestial, tais também os celestiais.
49 As we have worn the likeness of the man who was made from the dust of the earth, we will also wear the likeness of the man who came from heaven.
49 E, assim como trouxemos a imagem do terreno, assim traremos também a imagem do celestial.
50 Brothers and sisters, this is what I mean: Flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom. What decays cannot inherit what doesn’t decay.
50 E agora digo isto, irmãos: que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o reino de Deus, nem a corrupção herdar a incorrupção.
51 I’m telling you a mystery. Not all of us will die, but we will all be changed.
51 Eis aqui vos digo um mistério: Na verdade, nem todos dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados;
52 It will happen in an instant, in a split second at the sound of the last trumpet. Indeed, that trumpet will sound, and then the dead will come back to life. They will be changed so that they can live forever.
52 Num momento, num abrir e fechar de olhos, ante a última trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos ressuscitarão incorruptíveis, e nós seremos transformados.
53 This body that decays must be changed into a body that cannot decay. This mortal body must be changed into a body that will live forever.
53 Porque convém que isto que é corruptível se revista da incorruptibilidade, e que isto que é mortal se revista da imortalidade.
54 When this body that decays is changed into a body that cannot decay, and this mortal body is changed into a body that will live forever, then the teaching of Scripture will come true:
54 E, quando isto que é corruptível se revestir da incorruptibilidade, e isto que é mortal se revestir da imortalidade, então cumprir-se-á a palavra que está escrita: Tragada foi a morte na vitória.
55 Death, where is your victory?
55 Onde está, ó morte, o teu aguilhão? Onde está, ó inferno, a tua vitória?
56 Sin gives death its sting, and God’s standards give sin its power.
56 Ora, o aguilhão da morte é o pecado, e a força do pecado é a lei.
57 Thank God that he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
57 Mas graças a Deus que nos dá a vitória por nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
58 So, then, brothers and sisters, don’t let anyone move you off the foundation ⌞of your faith⌟. Always excel in the work you do for the Lord. You know that the hard work you do for the Lord is not pointless.
58 Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sede firmes e constantes, sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, sabendo que o vosso trabalho não é vão no Senhor.
