1 When he was come downe from the moutayne moch people folowed him.
1 E, descendo ele do monte, seguiu-o uma grande multidão.
2 And lo ther came a lepre and worsheped him sayinge: Master if thou wylt thou canst make me clene.
2 E, eis que veio um leproso, e o adorou, dizendo: Senhor, se quiseres, podes tornar-me limpo.
3 And Iesus put forthe hys hond and touched hym sayinge: I wyll be thou clene and immediatly hys leprosie was clensed.
3 E Jesus, estendendo a mão, tocou-o, dizendo: Quero; sê limpo. E logo ficou purificado da lepra.
4 And Iesus sayde vnto him. Se thou tell no man but go and shewe thy selfe to the preste and offer the gyfte that Moses commaunded in witnes to them.
4 Disse-lhe então Jesus: Olha, não o digas a alguém, mas vai, mostra-te ao sacerdote, e apresenta a oferta que Moisés determinou, para lhes servir de testemunho.
5 When Iesus was entred into Capernau ther came vnto him a certayne Centurion and besought hym sayinge:
5 E, entrando Jesus em Cafarnaum, chegou junto dele um centurião, rogando-lhe,
6 Master my seruaunt lyeth sicke at home of the palsye and ys greuously payned.
6 E dizendo: Senhor, o meu criado jaz em casa, paralítico, e violentamente atormentado.
7 And Iesus sayd vnto hym: I will come and heale him.
7 E Jesus lhe disse: Eu irei, e lhe darei saúde.
8 The Centurion answered and sayde: Syr I am not worthy that thou shuldest come vnder my rofe but speake the worde only and my servaut shalbe healed.
8 E o centurião, respondendo, disse: Senhor, não sou digno de que entres debaixo do meu telhado, mas dize somente uma palavra, e o meu criado há de sarar.
9 For I also my selfe am a man vndre power and have sowdiers vndre me and I saye to one go and he goeth and to anothre come and he cometh: and to my seruaut do this and he doeth it.
9 Pois também eu sou homem sob autoridade, e tenho soldados às minhas ordens; e digo a este: Vai, e ele vai; e a outro: Vem, e ele vem; e ao meu criado: Faze isto, e ele o faz.
10 When Iesus hearde that he marveled and sayd to them that folowed hym. Derely I say vnto you I have not foude so great fayth: no not in Israel.
10 E maravilhou-se Jesus, ouvindo isto, e disse aos que o seguiam: Em verdade vos digo que nem mesmo em Israel encontrei tanta fé.
11 I say therfore vnto you that many shall come from the eest and weest and shall rest with Abraham Isaac and Iacob in the kingdome of heven:
11 Mas eu vos digo que muitos virão do oriente e do ocidente, e assentar-se-ão à mesa com Abraão, e Isaque, e Jacó, no reino dos céus;
12 and the chyldren of the kyngdome shalbe cast out in to vtter darcknes: there shalbe wepinge and gnasshing of tethe.
12 E os filhos do reino serão lançados nas trevas exteriores; ali haverá pranto e ranger de dentes.
13 The Iesus sayd vnto the Centurion go thy waye and as thou belevest so be it vnto the. And his servaunt was healed the selfe houre.
13 Então disse Jesus ao centurião: Vai, e como creste te seja feito. E naquela mesma hora o seu criado sarou.
14 And then Iesus went to Peters housse and sawe hys wyves mother lyinge sicke of a fevre
14 E Jesus, entrando em casa de Pedro, viu a sogra deste acamada, e com febre.
15 and touched her hande and the fevre left hir: and she arose and ministred vnto them.
15 E tocou-lhe na mão, e a febre a deixou; e levantou-se, e serviu-os.
16 When the euen was come they brought vn to him many that were possessed with devyllis. And he cast out the spirites with a worde and healed all that were sicke
16 E, chegada a tarde, trouxeram-lhe muitos endemoninhados, e ele com a sua palavra expulsou deles os espíritos, e curou todos os que estavam enfermos;
17 to fulfill that which was spoke by Esayas the Prophet sayinge. He toke on him oure infirmities and bare oure sickneses
17 Para que se cumprisse o que fora dito pelo profeta Isaías, que diz: Ele tomou sobre si as nossas enfermidades, e levou as nossas doenças.
18 When Iesus sawe moche people about him he commaunded to go over the water.
18 E Jesus, vendo em torno de si uma grande multidão, ordenou que passassem para o outro lado;
19 And ther came a scribe and sayd vnto hym: master I wyll folowe the whyther so ever thou goest.
19 E, aproximando-se dele um escriba, disse-lhe: Mestre, aonde quer que fores, eu te seguirei.
20 And Iesus sayd vnto him: the foxes have holes and the bryddes of the ayer have nestes but the sonne of the man hath not wheron to rest his heede.
20 E disse Jesus: As raposas têm covis, e as aves do céu têm ninhos, mas o Filho do homem não tem onde reclinar a cabeça.
21 A nothre that was one of hys disciples sayd vnto hym: master suffre me fyrst to go and burye my father.
21 E outro de seus discípulos lhe disse: Senhor, permite-me que primeiramente vá sepultar meu pai.
22 But Iesus sayd vnto him: folowe me and let the deed burie their deed.
22 Jesus, porém, disse-lhe: Segue-me, e deixa os mortos sepultar os seus mortos.
23 And he entred in to a shyppe and his disciples folowed him.
23 E, entrando ele no barco, seus discípulos o seguiram;
24 And beholde there arose a a greate tempest in the see in so moche that the shippe was covered with waves and he was a slepe.
24 E eis que no mar se levantou uma tempestade, tão grande que o barco era coberto pelas ondas; ele, porém, estava dormindo.
25 And his disciples came vn to him and awoke hym sayinge: master save vs we perishe.
25 E os seus discípulos, aproximando-se, o despertaram, dizendo: Senhor, salva-nos! que perecemos.
26 And he sayd vnto them: why are ye fearfull o ye of lytell faithe? Then he arose and rebuked the wyndes and the see and ther folowed a greate calme.
26 E ele disse-lhes: Por que temeis, homens de pouca fé? Então, levantando-se, repreendeu os ventos e o mar, e seguiu-se uma grande bonança.
27 And the men marveyled and sayd: what man is this that bothe wyndes and see obey hym?
27 E aqueles homens se maravilharam, dizendo: Que homem é este, que até os ventos e o mar lhe obedecem?
28 And when he was come to the other syde in to the countre of the Gergesites ther met him two possessed of devylles which came out of the graves and were out of measure fearce so that no man myght go by that waye.
28 E, tendo chegado ao outro lado, à província dos gergesenos, saíram-lhe ao encontro dois endemoninhados, vindos dos sepulcros; tão ferozes eram que ninguém podia passar por aquele caminho.
29 And behold they cryed out sayinge: O Iesu the sonne of God what have we to do with the? Art thou come hyther to torment vs before the tyme be come?
29 E eis que clamaram, dizendo: Que temos nós contigo, Jesus, Filho de Deus? Vieste aqui atormentar-nos antes do tempo?
30 And ther was a good waye of from them a greate heerd of swyne fedinge.
30 E andava pastando distante deles uma manada de muitos porcos.
31 Then the devyles besought him sayinge: if thou cast vs out suffre vs to go oure waye in to the heerd of swyne.
31 E os demônios rogaram-lhe, dizendo: Se nos expulsas, permite-nos que entremos naquela manada de porcos.
32 And he sayd vnto the: go youre wayes. Then wet they out and departed into the heerd of swyne And beholde the whoale heerd of swyne was caryed with violence hedlinge in to the see and perisshed in the water.
32 E ele lhes disse: Ide. E, saindo eles, se introduziram na manada dos porcos; e eis que toda aquela manada de porcos se precipitou no mar por um despenhadeiro, e morreram nas águas.
33 Then the heerdmen fleed and wet their ways in to the cyte and tolde every thinge and what had fortuned vnto the possessed of the devyls.
33 Os porqueiros fugiram e, chegando à cidade, divulgaram tudo o que acontecera aos endemoninhados.
34 And beholde all the cyte came out and met Iesus. And when they sawe hym they besought hym to departe oute of their costes.
34 E eis que toda aquela cidade saiu ao encontro de Jesus e, vendo-o, rogaram-lhe que se retirasse dos seus termos.
