1 “A psalm of David.” Give to Jehovah, O ye sons of God! Give to Jehovah glory and praise!
1 Anjos, louvem a Deus, o Senhor ; louvem a sua
2 Give to Jehovah the glory due to his name; Worship Jehovah in holy attire!
2 Deem ao Senhor a honra que ele merece; curvem-se diante do quando ele aparecer.
3 The voice of Jehovah is heard above the waters; The God of glory thundereth,-Jehovah above the great waters.
3 A voz do Senhor é ouvida sobre as águas; o e sobre os mares se ouve a sua voz.
4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful; The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty;
4 A voz do Senhor é cheia de poder e majestade;
5 The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon;
5 a sua voz quebra as árvores de cedro, quebra até os cedros dos montes Líbanos.
6 Yea, he maketh them to leap like a calf,—Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.
6 Os montes Líbanos ele faz saltar como bezerros; o monte Hermom ele faz pular como um boi novo.
7 The voice of Jehovah divideth the flames of fire.
7 A voz do Senhor faz brilhar o relâmpago.
8 The voice of Jehovah maketh the wilderness tremble; Yea, Jehovah maketh the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.
8 A sua voz faz tremer o deserto; o o deserto de Cades.
9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds bring forth, And layeth bare the forests; While, in his palace, every one declareth his glory.
9 A voz do Senhor sacode os carvalhos e arranca as folhas das árvores. Enquanto isso, no seu Templo, todos gritam: “Glória a Deus!”
10 Jehovah sitteth above the flood; Yea, Jehovah sitteth king for ever.
10 O Senhor Deus reina sobre as águas profundas; como Rei ele governa para sempre.
11 Jehovah will give strength to his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
11 O Senhor dá força ao seu povo e o abençoa, dando-lhe tudo o que é bom.
