⁵ De tanto gemer estou reduzido a pele e osso.

⁸ Os meus inimigos zombam de mim o tempo todo; os que me insultam usam o meu nome para lançar maldições.

⁹ Cinzas são a minha comida, e com lágrimas misturo o que bebo,

¹⁰ por causa da tua indignação e da tua ira, pois me rejeitaste e me expulsaste para longe de ti.

¹² Tu, porém, Senhor, no trono reinarás para sempre; o teu nome será lembrado de geração em geração.

¹³ Thou|strong="H3427" shalt arise, and|strong="H3068" have|strong="H3068" mercy|strong="H3068" upon|strong="H3427" Zion: for|strong="H3427" it|strong="H3068" is|strong="H3068" time|strong="H5769" to|strong="H3068" have|strong="H3068" pity upon|strong="H3427" her, yea, the|strong="H3068" set|strong="H3427" time|strong="H5769" is|strong="H3068" come.

¹³ Tu te levantarás e terás misericórdia de Sião, pois é hora de lhe mostrares compaixão; o tempo certo é chegado.

¹⁴ For|strong="H3588" thy|strong="H6965" servants take|strong="H6965" pleasure in|strong="H6965" her|strong="H6965" stones, and|strong="H6965" have|strong="H7355" pity|strong="H2603" upon|strong="H6965" her|strong="H6965" dust.

¹⁴ Pois as suas pedras são amadas pelos teus servos, as suas ruínas os enchem de compaixão.

¹⁵ So|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" nations shall|strong="H5650" fear the|strong="H3588" name of|strong="H5650" the|strong="H3588" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H5650" all the|strong="H3588" kings of|strong="H5650" the|strong="H3588" earth|strong="H6083" thy|strong="H5650" glory:

¹⁵ Então as nações temerão o nome do Senhor, e todos os reis da terra a sua glória.

¹⁶ For|strong="H8034" the|strong="H3605" LORD|strong="H3068" hath|strong="H3068" built up|strong="H4428" Zion, he|strong="H3068" hath|strong="H3068" appeared in|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3605" glory|strong="H3519";

¹⁶ Porque o Senhor reconstruirá Sião e se manifestará na glória que ele tem.

¹⁷ He|strong="H3588" hath|strong="H3068" regarded|strong="H7200" the|strong="H7200" prayer of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H7200" destitute, and|strong="H3068" hath|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3588" despised their|strong="H3068" prayer.

¹⁷ Responderá à oração dos desamparados; as suas súplicas não desprezará.

¹⁸ This|strong="H6437" shall|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" written for|strong="H8605" the|strong="H3808" generation to|strong="H6437" come: and|strong="H6437" a|strong="H3068" people|strong="H3808" which shall|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" created shall|strong="H3808" praise the|strong="H3808" LORD|strong="H3068".

¹⁸ Escreva-se isto para as futuras gerações, e um povo que ainda será criado louvará o Senhor, proclamando:

¹⁹ For|strong="H5971" he|strong="H5971" hath|strong="H3050" looked down|strong="H3789" from|strong="H5971" the|strong="H1984" height of|strong="H5971" his|strong="H5971" sanctuary; from|strong="H5971" heaven did|strong="H5971" the|strong="H1984" LORD|strong="H3068" behold the|strong="H1984" earth;

¹⁹ "Do seu santuário nas alturas o Senhor olhou; dos céus observou a terra,

²⁰ To|strong="H3068" hear the|strong="H3588" sighing of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" prisoner; to|strong="H3068" loose those|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" are|strong="H8064" appointed to|strong="H3068" death;

²⁰ para ouvir os gemidos dos prisioneiros e libertar os condenados à morte".

²¹ That|strong="H8085" men|strong="H1121" may|strong="H1121" declare|strong="H8085" the|strong="H8085" name of|strong="H1121" the|strong="H8085" LORD|strong="H3068" in|strong="H8085" Zion, and|strong="H1121" his|strong="H8085" praise in|strong="H8085" Jerusalem;

²¹ Assim o nome do Senhor será anunciado em Sião e o seu louvor, em Jerusalém,

²² When|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" peoples are|strong="H3068" gathered together, and|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" kingdoms, to|strong="H3068" serve the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068".

²² quando os povos e os reinos se reunirem para adorar ao Senhor.

²³ He|strong="H3068" weakened my|strong="H3068" strength in|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5647" way; he|strong="H3068" shortened my|strong="H3068" days.

²³ No meio da minha vida ele me abateu com sua força; abreviou os meus dias.

²⁴ I|strong="H3117" said, O|strong="H3068" my|strong="H6031" God, take me|strong="H3117" not|strong="H1870" away|strong="H1870" in|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" midst of|strong="H3117" my|strong="H6031" days|strong="H3117": thy|strong="H3117" years|strong="H3117" are|strong="H3117" throughout|strong="H3117" all|strong="H3117" generations.

²⁴ Então pedi: "Ó meu Deus, não me leves no meio dos meus dias. Os teus dias duram por todas as gerações!

²⁵ Of|strong="H3117" old|strong="H8141" hast thou|strong="H3117" laid|strong="H5927" the|strong="H3117" foundation|strong="H3117" of|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" earth|strong="H5927"; and|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" heavens are|strong="H3117" the|strong="H3117" work of|strong="H3117" thy|strong="H3117" hands.

²⁵ No princípio firmaste os fundamentos da terra, e os céus são obras das tuas mãos.

²⁶ They|strong="H3027" shall|strong="H3027" perish, but thou|strong="H3027" shalt endure|strong="H6440": yea, all|strong="H6440" of|strong="H3027" them|strong="H6440" shall|strong="H3027" wax|strong="H3027" old|strong="H6440" like|strong="H8064" a|strong="H3068" garment; as|strong="H6440" a|strong="H3068" vesture shalt thou|strong="H3027" change them|strong="H6440", and|strong="H8064" they|strong="H3027" shall|strong="H3027" be|strong="H3027" changed:

²⁶ Eles perecerão, mas tu permanecerás; envelhecerão como vestimentas. Como roupas tu os trocarás e serão jogados fora.

²⁷ But|strong="H1992" thou|strong="H5975" art the|strong="H3605" same|strong="H1992", and|strong="H5975" thy years shall have|strong="H3605" no|strong="H3605" end.

²⁷ Mas tu permaneces o mesmo, e os teus dias jamais terão fim.

²⁸ The|strong="H3808" children of|strong="H8141" thy|strong="H8552" servants shall|strong="H3808" continue, and|strong="H8141" their|strong="H3808" seed shall|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" established|strong="H3808" before|strong="H3808" thee.

²⁸ Os filhos dos teus servos terão uma habitação; os seus descendentes serão estabelecidos na tua presença".
