1 Falais verdadeiramente justiça, ó juízes? Julgais com retidão os filhos dos homens?
2 Yea, in heart|strong="H3820" ye work|strong="H6466" wickedness|strong="H5766"; ye weigh|strong="H6424" the violence|strong="H2555" of your hands|strong="H3027" in the earth|strong="H0776".
2 Longe disso; antes, no íntimo engendrais iniquidades e distribuís na terra a violência de vossas mãos.
3 The wicked|strong="H7563" are estranged|strong="H2114" from the womb|strong="H7358": they go astray|strong="H8582" as soon as they be born|strong="H0990", speaking|strong="H1696" lies|strong="H3577".
3 Desviam-se os ímpios desde a sua concepção; nascem e já se desencaminham, proferindo mentiras.
4 Their poison|strong="H2534" is like|strong="H1823" the poison|strong="H2534" of a serpent|strong="H5175": they are like the deaf|strong="H2795" adder|strong="H6620" that stoppeth|strong="H0331" her ear|strong="H0241";
4 Têm peçonha semelhante à peçonha da serpente; são como a víbora surda, que tapa os ouvidos,
5 Which will not hearken|strong="H8085" to the voice|strong="H6963" of charmers|strong="H3907", charming|strong="H2266" never so wisely|strong="H2449".
5 para não ouvir a voz dos encantadores, do mais fascinante em encantamentos.

6 Ó Deus, quebra-lhes os dentes na boca; arranca,
7 Let them melt away|strong="H3988" as waters|strong="H4325" which run continually|strong="H1980": when he bendeth|strong="H1869" his bow to shoot his arrows|strong="H2671", let them be as cut in pieces|strong="H4135".
7 Desapareçam como águas que se escoam; ao dispararem flechas, fiquem elas embotadas.

8 Sejam como a lesma, que passa diluindo-se; como o aborto de mulher, não vejam nunca o sol.

9 Como espinheiros, antes que vossas panelas sintam deles o calor, tanto os verdes como os que estão em brasa serão arrebatados como por um redemoinho.

10 Alegrar-se-á o justo quando vir a vingança; banhará os pés no sangue do ímpio.
11 So that a man|strong="H0120" shall say|strong="H0559", Verily there is a reward|strong="H6529" for the righteous|strong="H6662": verily he is|strong="H3426" a God|strong="H0430" that judgeth|strong="H8199" in the earth|strong="H0776".
11 Então, se dirá: Na verdade, há recompensa para o justo; há um Deus, com efeito, que julga na terra.
