1 De Davi. Hino. Feliz aquele cuja iniqüidade foi perdoada, cujo pecado foi absolvido.
2 Blessed|strong="H0835" is the man|strong="H0120" unto whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* imputeth|strong="H2803" not iniquity|strong="H5771", and in whose spirit|strong="H7307" there is no guile|strong="H7423".
2 Feliz o homem a quem o Senhor não argúi de falta, e em cujo coração não há dolo.
3 When I kept silence|strong="H2790", my bones|strong="H6106" waxed old|strong="H1086" through my roaring|strong="H7581" all the day|strong="H3117" long.
3 Enquanto me conservei calado, mirraram-se-me os ossos, entre contínuos gemidos.
4 For day|strong="H3119" and night|strong="H3915" thy hand|strong="H3027" was heavy|strong="H3513" upon me: my moisture|strong="H3955" is turned|strong="H2015" into the drought|strong="H2725" of summer|strong="H7019". Selah|strong="H5542".
4 Pois, dia e noite, vossa mão pesava sobre mim; esgotavam-se-me as forças como nos ardores do verão.
5 I acknowledged|strong="H3045" my sin|strong="H2403" unto thee, and mine iniquity|strong="H5771" have I not hid|strong="H3680". I said|strong="H0559", I will confess|strong="H3034" my transgressions|strong="H6588" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and thou forgavest|strong="H5375" the iniquity|strong="H5771" of my sin|strong="H2403". 5 Então eu vos confessei o meu pecado, e não mais dissimulei a minha culpa. Disse: Sim, vou confessar ao Senhor a minha iniqüidade. E vós perdoastes a pena do meu pecado.
6 For this shall every one that is godly|strong="H2623" pray|strong="H6419" unto thee in a time|strong="H6256" when thou mayest be found|strong="H4672": surely in the floods|strong="H7858" of great|strong="H7227" waters|strong="H4325" they shall not come nigh|strong="H5060" unto him.
6 Assim também todo fiel recorrerá a vós, no momento da necessidade. Quando transbordarem muitas águas, elas não chegarão até ele.
7 Thou art my hiding place|strong="H5643"; thou shalt preserve|strong="H5341" me from trouble|strong="H6862"; thou shalt compass|strong="H5437" me about with songs|strong="H7438" of deliverance|strong="H6405". Selah|strong="H5542".
7 Vós sois meu asilo, das angústias me preservareis e me envolvereis na alegria de minha salvação.
8 I will instruct|strong="H7919" thee and teach|strong="H3384" thee in the way|strong="H1870" which|strong="H2098" thou shalt go|strong="H3212": I will guide|strong="H3289" thee with mine eye|strong="H5869".
8 Vou te ensinar, dizeis, vou te mostrar o caminho que deves seguir; vou te instruir, fitando em ti os meus olhos:
9 Be ye not as the horse|strong="H5483", or as the mule|strong="H6505", which have no understanding|strong="H0995": whose mouth|strong="H5716" must be held|strong="H1102" in with bit|strong="H4964" and bridle|strong="H7448", lest|strong="H1077" they come near|strong="H7126" unto thee.
9 não queiras ser sem inteligência como o cavalo, como o muar, que só ao freio e à rédea submetem seus ímpetos; de outro modo não se chegam a ti.
10 Many|strong="H7227" sorrows|strong="H4341" shall be to the wicked|strong="H7563": but he that trusteth|strong="H0982" in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, mercy|strong="H2617" shall compass|strong="H5437" him about.
10 São muitos os sofrimentos do ímpio. Mas quem espera no Senhor, sua misericórdia o envolve.
11 Be glad|strong="H8055" in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and rejoice|strong="H1523", ye righteous|strong="H6662": and shout|strong="H7442" for joy, all ye that are upright|strong="H3477" in heart|strong="H3820".
11 Ó justos, alegrai-vos e regozijai-vos no Senhor. Exultai todos vós, retos de coração.
