2 cujo coração maquina iniquidades e vive forjando contendas.

4 Guarda-me, Senhor , da mão dos ímpios, preserva-me do homem violento, os quais se empenham por me desviar os passos.

6 Digo ao Senhor : tu és o meu Deus; acode,

7 Ó Senhor , força da minha salvação, tu me protegeste a cabeça no dia da batalha.

8 Não concedas, Senhor , ao ímpio os seus desejos; não permitas que vingue o seu mau propósito.

9 Se exaltam a cabeça os que me cercam, cubra-os a maldade dos seus lábios.

11 O caluniador não se estabelecerá na terra; ao homem violento, o mal o perseguirá com golpe sobre golpe.
12 I know|strong="H3045" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will maintain|strong="H6213" the cause|strong="H1779" of the afflicted|strong="H6041", and the right|strong="H4941" of the poor|strong="H0034".
12 Sei que o Senhor manterá a causa do oprimido e o direito do necessitado.
13 Surely the righteous|strong="H6662" shall give thanks|strong="H3034" unto thy name|strong="H8034": the upright|strong="H3477" shall dwell|strong="H3427" in thy presence|strong="H6440".
13 Assim, os justos renderão graças ao teu nome; os retos habitarão na tua presença.
