1 Livra-me, ó Senhor, dos homens maus; guarda-me dos homens violentos,
2 Which imagine|strong="H2803" mischiefs|strong="H7451" in their heart|strong="H3820"; continually|strong="H3117" are they gathered together|strong="H1481" for war|strong="H4421".
2 os quais maquinam maldades no coração; estão sempre projetando guerras.
3 They have sharpened|strong="H8150" their tongues|strong="H3956" like a serpent|strong="H5175"; adders’|strong="H5919" poison|strong="H2534" is under their lips|strong="H8193". Selah|strong="H5542".
3 Aguçaram as línguas como a serpente; peçonha de áspides está debaixo dos seus lábios.

4 Guarda-me, ó Senhor, das mãos dos ímpios; preserva-me dos homens violentos, os quais planejaram transtornar os meus passos.
5 The proud|strong="H1343" have hid|strong="H2934" a snare|strong="H6341" for me, and cords|strong="H2256"; they have spread|strong="H6566" a net|strong="H7568" by the wayside|strong="H3027"; they have set|strong="H7896" gins|strong="H4170" for me. Selah|strong="H5542".
5 Os soberbos armaram-me laços e cordas; estenderam uma rede à beira do caminho; puseram-me armadilhas.

6 Eu disse, ao Senhor: Tu és o meu Deus; dá ouvidos, ó Senhor, à voz das minhas súplicas.

7 Ó Senhor, meu Senhor, meu forte libertador, tu cobriste a minha cabeça no dia da batalha.
8 Grant|strong="H5414" not, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, the desires|strong="H3970" of the wicked|strong="H7563": further|strong="H6329" not his wicked device|strong="H2162"; lest they exalt|strong="H7311" themselves. Selah|strong="H5542".
8 Não concedas, ó Senhor, aos ímpios os seus desejos; não deixes ir por diante o seu mau propósito.
9 As for the head|strong="H7218" of those that compass me about|strong="H4524", let the mischief|strong="H5999" of their own lips|strong="H8193" cover|strong="H3680" them.
9 Não levantem a cabeça os que me cercam; cubra-os a maldade dos seus lábios.
10 Let burning coals|strong="H1513" fall|strong="H4131" upon them: let them be cast|strong="H5307" into the fire|strong="H0784"; into deep pits|strong="H4113", that they rise not up again|strong="H6965".
10 Caiam sobre eles brasas vivas; sejam lançados em covas profundas, para que não se tornem a levantar!
11 Let not an evil speaker|strong="H0376" be established|strong="H3559" in the earth|strong="H0776": evil|strong="H7451" shall hunt|strong="H6679" the violent|strong="H2555" man|strong="H0376" to overthrow|strong="H4073" him.
11 Não se estabeleça na terra o caluniador; o mal persiga o homem violento com golpe sobre golpe.
12 I know|strong="H3045" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will maintain|strong="H6213" the cause|strong="H1779" of the afflicted|strong="H6041", and the right|strong="H4941" of the poor|strong="H0034".
12 Sei que o Senhor manterá a causa do aflito, e o direito do necessitado.
13 Surely the righteous|strong="H6662" shall give thanks|strong="H3034" unto thy name|strong="H8034": the upright|strong="H3477" shall dwell|strong="H3427" in thy presence|strong="H6440".
13 Decerto os justos louvarão o teu nome; os retos habitarão na tua presença.
