And he said|strong="H0559", I will redeem|strong="H1350" it.
4 Pensei que devia falar com você a esse respeito, para que você a resgate, caso tenha interesse. Se quer a propriedade, compre-a na presença das autoridades do meu povo. Se não tiver interesse por ela, diga-me logo, porque, depois de você, sou o resgatador mais próximo”. O homem respondeu: “Está certo; eu resgatarei a propriedade”.
5 Then said|strong="H0559" Boaz|strong="H1162", What day|strong="H3117" thou buyest|strong="H7069" the field|strong="H7704" of the hand|strong="H3027" of Naomi|strong="H5281", thou must buy|strong="H7069" it also of Ruth|strong="H7327" the Moabitess|strong="H4125", the wife|strong="H0802" of the dead|strong="H4191", to raise up|strong="H6965" the name|strong="H8034" of the dead|strong="H4191" upon his inheritance|strong="H5159".
5 Então Boaz lhe disse: “É claro que, ao comprar a propriedade de Noemi, você também deve se casar com Rute, a viúva moabita. Desse modo, ela poderá ter filhos que levem o nome de seu marido e mantenham a herança na família dele”.
6 And the kinsman|strong="H1350" said|strong="H0559", I cannot|strong="H3201" redeem|strong="H1350" it for myself, lest I mar|strong="H7843" mine own inheritance|strong="H5159": redeem|strong="H1350" thou my right|strong="H1353" to thyself; for I cannot|strong="H3201" redeem|strong="H1350" it.
6 “Se é assim, não posso resgatá-la”, respondeu o parente resgatador. “Isso poria em risco minha própria herança. Resgate você a propriedade. Eu não posso fazê-lo.”
7 Now this was the manner in former time|strong="H6440" in Israel|strong="H3478" concerning redeeming|strong="H1353" and concerning changing|strong="H8545", for to confirm|strong="H6965" all things|strong="H1697"; a man|strong="H0376" plucked off|strong="H8025" his shoe|strong="H5275", and gave|strong="H5414" it to his neighbour|strong="H7453": and this was a testimony|strong="H8584" in Israel|strong="H3478".
7 Naqueles dias, havia o seguinte costume em Israel: quando alguém queria transferir o direito de resgate e troca, tirava a sandália e a entregava à outra pessoa para validar publicamente a transação.
8 Therefore the kinsman|strong="H1350" said|strong="H0559" unto Boaz|strong="H1162", Buy|strong="H7069" it for thee. So he drew off|strong="H8025" his shoe|strong="H5275".

9 And Boaz|strong="H1162" said|strong="H0559" unto the elders|strong="H2205", and unto all the people|strong="H5971", Ye are witnesses|strong="H5707" this day|strong="H3117", that I have bought|strong="H7069" all that was Elimelech’s|strong="H0458", and all that was Chilion’s|strong="H3630" and Mahlon’s|strong="H4248", of the hand|strong="H3027" of Naomi|strong="H5281".
9 Então Boaz disse às autoridades da cidade e ao povo ao redor: “Vocês são testemunhas de que hoje comprei de Noemi toda a propriedade de Elimeleque, Quiliom e Malom.
10 Moreover Ruth|strong="H7327" the Moabitess|strong="H4125", the wife|strong="H0802" of Mahlon|strong="H4248", have I purchased|strong="H7069" to be my wife|strong="H0802", to raise up|strong="H6965" the name|strong="H8034" of the dead|strong="H4191" upon his inheritance|strong="H5159", that the name|strong="H8034" of the dead|strong="H4191" be not cut off|strong="H3772" from among|strong="H5973" his brethren|strong="H0251", and from the gate|strong="H8179" of his place|strong="H4725": ye are witnesses|strong="H5707" this day|strong="H3117".
10 E, junto com a propriedade, tomei como esposa Rute, a viúva moabita de Malom. Assim, ela poderá ter um filho que leve o nome da família de seu falecido marido e herde a propriedade da família aqui na cidade natal dele. Vocês hoje são testemunhas disso”.
11 And all the people|strong="H5971" that were in the gate|strong="H8179", and the elders|strong="H2205", said|strong="H0559", We are witnesses|strong="H5707". The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* make|strong="H5414" the woman|strong="H0802" that is come|strong="H0935" into thine house|strong="H1004" like Rachel|strong="H7354" and like Leah|strong="H3812", which two|strong="H8147" did build|strong="H1129" the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478": and do|strong="H6213" thou worthily|strong="H2428" in Ephratah|strong="H0672", and be famous|strong="H7121" in Beth-lehem|strong="H1035":
11 As autoridades da cidade e todo o povo que estava na porta responderam: “Somos testemunhas! Que o S enhor faça a esta mulher que chega à sua família o que ele fez a Raquel e Lia, das quais descendeu toda a nação de Israel! Que você seja próspero em Efrata e famoso em Belém!
12 And let thy house|strong="H1004" be like the house|strong="H1004" of Pharez|strong="H6557", whom Tamar|strong="H8559" bare|strong="H3205" unto Judah|strong="H3063", of the seed|strong="H2233" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall give|strong="H5414" thee of this young woman|strong="H5291".
12 Que o S enhor lhe dê com esta jovem uma descendência numerosa como a de nosso antepassado Perez, filho de Tamar e Judá!”.
13 So Boaz|strong="H1162" took|strong="H3947" Ruth|strong="H7327", and she was his wife|strong="H0802": and when he went in|strong="H0935" unto her, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* gave|strong="H5414" her conception|strong="H2032", and she bare|strong="H3205" a son|strong="H1121".
13 Boaz levou Rute para a casa dele, e ela se tornou sua esposa. Quando Boaz teve relações com ela, o S enhor permitiu que ela engravidasse, e ela deu à luz um filho.
14 And the women|strong="H0802" said|strong="H0559" unto Naomi|strong="H5281", Blessed|strong="H1288" be the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which hath not left|strong="H7673" thee this day|strong="H3117" without a kinsman|strong="H1350", that his name|strong="H8034" may be famous|strong="H7121" in Israel|strong="H3478".
14 Então as mulheres da cidade disseram a Noemi: “Louvado seja o S enhor , que hoje proveu um resgatador para sua família! Que este menino seja famoso em Israel!
15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer|strong="H7725" of thy life|strong="H5315", and a nourisher|strong="H3557" of thine old age|strong="H7872": for thy daughter in law|strong="H3618", which loveth|strong="H0157" thee, which is better|strong="H2896" to thee than seven|strong="H7651" sons|strong="H1121", hath born|strong="H3205" him.
15 Que ele restaure seu vigor e cuide de você em sua velhice, pois ele é filho de sua nora, que a ama e que tem sido melhor para você do que sete filhos!”.
16 And Naomi|strong="H5281" took|strong="H3947" the child|strong="H3206", and laid|strong="H7896" it in her bosom|strong="H2436", and became nurse|strong="H0539" unto it.
16 Noemi pegou o bebê, aninhou-o junto ao peito e passou a cuidar dele como se fosse seu filho.
17 And the women her neighbours|strong="H7934" gave|strong="H7121" it a name|strong="H8034", saying|strong="H0559", There is a son|strong="H1121" born|strong="H3205" to Naomi|strong="H5281"; and they called|strong="H7121" his name|strong="H8034" Obed|strong="H5744": he is the father|strong="H0001" of Jesse|strong="H3448", the father|strong="H0001" of David|strong="H1732".
17 As mulheres da vizinhança disseram: “Noemi tem um filho outra vez!”, e lhe deram o nome de Obede. Ele é o pai de Jessé, pai de Davi.
18 Now these are the generations|strong="H8435" of Pharez|strong="H6557": Pharez|strong="H6557" begat|strong="H3205" Hezron|strong="H2696",

19 And Hezron|strong="H2696" begat|strong="H3205" Ram|strong="H7410", and Ram|strong="H7410" begat|strong="H3205" Amminadab|strong="H5992",
