1 Brethren|strong="G0080", my|strong="G1699" heart’s|strong="G2588" desire|strong="G2107" and|strong="G2532" prayer|strong="G1162" to|strong="G4314" God|strong="G2316" for|strong="G5228" Israel|strong="G2474" is|strong="G2076", that|strong="G1519" they might be saved|strong="G4991".
2 For|strong="G1063" I bear|strong="G3140" them|strong="G0846" record|strong="G3140" that|strong="G3754" they have|strong="G2192" a zeal|strong="G2205" of God|strong="G2316", but|strong="G0235" not|strong="G3756" according to|strong="G2596" knowledge|strong="G1922".
3 For|strong="G1063" they being ignorant of|strong="G0050" God’s|strong="G2316" righteousness|strong="G1343", and|strong="G2532" going about|strong="G2212" to establish|strong="G2476" their own|strong="G2398" righteousness|strong="G1343", have|strong="G5293" not|strong="G3756" submitted themselves|strong="G5293" unto the righteousness|strong="G1343" of God|strong="G2316".
4 For|strong="G1063" Christ|strong="G5547" is the end|strong="G5056" of the law|strong="G3551" for|strong="G1519" righteousness|strong="G1343" to every one|strong="G3956" that believeth|strong="G4100".
5 For|strong="G1063" Moses|strong="G3475" describeth|strong="G1125" the righteousness|strong="G1343" which is|strong="G3588" of|strong="G1537" the law|strong="G3551", That|strong="G3754" the man|strong="G0444" which doeth|strong="G4160" those things|strong="G0846" shall live|strong="G2198" by|strong="G1722" them|strong="G0846".
6 But|strong="G1161" the righteousness|strong="G1343" which is of|strong="G1537" faith|strong="G4102" speaketh|strong="G3004" on this wise|strong="G3779", Say|strong="G2036" not|strong="G3361" in|strong="G1722" thine|strong="G4675" heart|strong="G2588", Who|strong="G5101" shall ascend|strong="G0305" into|strong="G1519" heaven|strong="G3772"? (that|strong="G5124" is|strong="G2076", to bring|strong="G2609" Christ|strong="G5547" down|strong="G2609" from above:)
7 Or|strong="G2228", Who|strong="G5101" shall descend|strong="G2597" into|strong="G1519" the deep|strong="G0012"? (that|strong="G5124" is|strong="G2076", to bring up|strong="G0321" Christ|strong="G5547" again|strong="G0321" from|strong="G1537" the dead|strong="G3498".)
8 But|strong="G0235" what|strong="G5101" saith it|strong="G3004"? The word|strong="G4487" is|strong="G2076" nigh|strong="G1451" thee|strong="G4675", even in|strong="G1722" thy|strong="G4675" mouth|strong="G4750", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" thy|strong="G4675" heart|strong="G2588": that|strong="G5124" is|strong="G2076", the word|strong="G4487" of faith|strong="G4102", which|strong="G3739" we preach|strong="G2784";
9 That|strong="G3754" if|strong="G1437" thou shalt confess|strong="G3670" with|strong="G1722" thy|strong="G4675" mouth|strong="G4750" the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424", and|strong="G2532" shalt believe|strong="G4100" in|strong="G1722" thine|strong="G4675" heart|strong="G2588" that|strong="G3754" God|strong="G2316" hath raised|strong="G1453" him|strong="G0846" from|strong="G1537" the dead|strong="G3498", thou shalt be saved|strong="G4982".
10 For|strong="G1063" with the heart|strong="G2588" man believeth|strong="G4100" unto|strong="G1519" righteousness|strong="G1343"; and|strong="G1161" with the mouth|strong="G4750" confession is made|strong="G3670" unto|strong="G1519" salvation|strong="G4991".
11 For|strong="G1063" the scripture|strong="G1124" saith|strong="G3004", Whosoever|strong="G3956" believeth|strong="G4100" on|strong="G1909" him|strong="G0846" shall|strong="G2617" not|strong="G3756" be ashamed|strong="G2617".
12 For|strong="G1063" there is|strong="G2076" no|strong="G3756" difference|strong="G1293" between|strong="G5037" the Jew|strong="G2453" and|strong="G2532" the Greek|strong="G1672": for|strong="G1063" the|strong="G2962" same|strong="G0846" Lord|strong="G2962" over all|strong="G3956" is rich|strong="G4147" unto|strong="G1519" all|strong="G3956" that call upon|strong="G1941" him|strong="G0846".
13 For|strong="G1063" whosoever|strong="G3956" shall call upon|strong="G1941" the name|strong="G3686" of the Lord|strong="G2962" shall be saved|strong="G4982".
14 How|strong="G4459" then|strong="G3767" shall they call on him|strong="G1941" in|strong="G1519" whom|strong="G3739" they have|strong="G4100" not|strong="G3756" believed|strong="G4100"? and|strong="G1161" how|strong="G4459" shall they believe|strong="G4100" in him of whom|strong="G3739" they have|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" heard|strong="G0191"? and|strong="G1161" how|strong="G4459" shall they hear|strong="G0191" without|strong="G5565" a preacher|strong="G2784"?
15 And|strong="G1161" how|strong="G4459" shall they preach|strong="G2784", except|strong="G3361" they be sent|strong="G0649"? as|strong="G2531" it is written|strong="G1125", How|strong="G5613" beautiful|strong="G5611" are the feet|strong="G4228" of them that preach the gospel|strong="G2097" of peace|strong="G1515", and bring glad tidings|strong="G2097" of good things|strong="G0018"!
16 But|strong="G0235" they have|strong="G5219" not|strong="G3756" all|strong="G3956" obeyed|strong="G5219" the gospel|strong="G2098". For|strong="G1063" Esaias|strong="G2268" saith|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", who|strong="G5101" hath believed|strong="G4100" our|strong="G2257" report|strong="G0189"?
17 So then|strong="G0686" faith|strong="G4102" cometh by|strong="G1537" hearing|strong="G0189", and|strong="G1161" hearing|strong="G0189" by|strong="G1223" the word|strong="G4487" of God|strong="G2316".
18 But|strong="G0235" I say|strong="G3004", Have they|strong="G0191" not|strong="G3756" heard|strong="G0191"? Yes verily|strong="G3304", their|strong="G0846" sound|strong="G5353" went|strong="G1831" into|strong="G1519" all|strong="G3956" the earth|strong="G1093", and|strong="G2532" their|strong="G0846" words|strong="G4487" unto|strong="G1519" the ends|strong="G4009" of the world|strong="G3625".
19 But|strong="G0235" I say|strong="G3004", Did|strong="G1097" not|strong="G3756" Israel|strong="G2474" know|strong="G1097"? First|strong="G4413" Moses|strong="G3475" saith|strong="G3004", I|strong="G1473" will provoke|strong="G3863" you|strong="G5209" to jealousy|strong="G3863" by|strong="G1909" them that are no|strong="G3756" people|strong="G1484", and by|strong="G1909" a foolish|strong="G0801" nation|strong="G1484" I will anger|strong="G3949" you|strong="G5209".
20 But|strong="G1161" Esaias|strong="G2268" is very bold|strong="G0662", and|strong="G2532" saith|strong="G3004", I was found|strong="G2147" of them|strong="G3588" that sought|strong="G2212" me|strong="G1691" not|strong="G3361"; I was made|strong="G1096" manifest|strong="G1717" unto them|strong="G3588" that asked|strong="G1905" not|strong="G3361" after|strong="G1905" me|strong="G1691".
21 But|strong="G1161" to|strong="G4314" Israel|strong="G2474" he saith|strong="G3004", All|strong="G3650" day long|strong="G2250" I have stretched forth|strong="G1600" my|strong="G3450" hands|strong="G5495" unto|strong="G4314" a disobedient|strong="G0544" and|strong="G2532" gainsaying|strong="G0483" people|strong="G2992".
